Kagome:

Uh oh. I froze in the middle of picking up the trash in the living room. I heard my mom scream, boy did that hurt my ears. "What?" I ask. "Who are you?" "It's me mom, Kagome." "What happened to you?" "Better sit down." From upstairs in my room I hear a loud "Fuck." then a crash. I yell up and tell him to get his ass down here. I look over to my mom and smile. She asks, "What is going on and why is he here? And do you have fangs and your ears? Oh gods." She faints. My grandpa is chanting some spell and my brother stares at me and laughs. He starts yanking on my ears and I growl at him. He backs off. I hear laughing and look to the stairway and see Inuyasha. I look at him and smile a little and run into his arms. He wraps his arms around my waist and licks my ears lightly. I giggle and my grandpa gasps and my brother laughs loudly. I blush and turn my face into Inuyasha's chest. My mom starts to stir and opens her eyes a little. She sees me and Inuyasha holding each other and bolts upward. Her eyes narrow as she looks at Inuyasha. "What in blazes hell do you think your doing to Kagome?" "I'm holding her!!" Oh he shouldn't yell at my mom. I grab his clawed hand with my own and start to pull him back upstairs.

Kagome's Grandpa:

Hmm, very interesting. They seem to finally tell each other how much they love each other. I hope my chants for a long and happy life works for them. I see my daughter start to climb the stairs to follow them. "I would not if I were you, they will tell you what exactly going on when both you and Inuyasha calm down." "Calm down how can I do that? My daughter has changed into something and they seem to be lovers or something." "But have you noticed how happy my granddaughter seems." "Yes, but I don't want her to leave forever." "She'll never leave you forever I bet she'll visit often." "You sound like she is married or something." I remain quiet when she says that and she looks at me in disbelief. "What are you thinking father?" "Nothing" She still looks at me. I hear my grandson laughing, "Think about what their children will look like." My daughter gets mad and chases him around. Ahh children see things most adult are not willing to.

Inuyasha:

Why is did she drag me back up here? I look at her with my eyebrows raised. I ask with a grin, "Why are we back up here? You want to go back to bed?" "No, do not yell at my mom. It's going to be a shock for her and I need your help to explain to my mother about everything. So please keep calm and talk lightly." I grab her ass and pull her into a kiss. She melts then pulls out. "No more of that around them," she says. I just smile and rub her ass. She slaps my claws away with a smile and walks toward the stairs her hips swaying. I follow and wrap my arm against her waist as we walk down the stairs. When we hit the bottom her mother stares at me harshly. I just smile at her sweetly. I listen as Kagome tells how she turned into a half demon I fill in most of the blanks that I felt was appropriate. Kagome talks about the wolf and how I healed her. But she stopped short of us becoming mates. I look at her and I see her blushing and swallowing hard. I smile and lick her ear. She turns to me and growls low and smiles. I look at her mother and see her glaring at me and ask, "What else is going on?" Oh hell this is going to be hard to explain.

Kagome:

Oh how can I explain to mom about Inuyasha and me becoming mates. Then he licks my ear and I can't help but smile. I turn back to mom and take a big deep breath. I start to explain my feeling, "I love you mom but I can't stay here any more. I have to stay in Inuyasha's time. Not only because of how I look but because, --- me and Inuyasha are mates." I look at mom and she is gone? I hear a loud smack and then a growl. I look over to Inuyasha who is holding his cheek and my mom who is looking down at him. "You bastard," she yells, "How could you rape my daughter?" "I didn't rape her." "He didn't rape me mom. We love each other." Gods she looks almost evil, she is so pissed. Then her face softens a little and she whispers to Inuyasha, "Welcome to the family." Soata cheers and rushes to mom and pulls her down to sit. Grandpa comes over and smiles, "Knew all along, you two are made for each other." My mouth drops open. He smiles and tells Inuyasha, "You better be good to her and treat her with the respect she deserves." "Don't worry old geezer I will." Grandpa rolls his eyes and chuckles. Brother comes up and pulls Inuyasha to go down to his level. Inuyasha growls a little but complies. "Are you my brother-in-law now?" Inuyasha looks at me questionably. I explain to him what all in-laws are and he tells Soata sure. I smile and I walk over to mom and ask her if we could talk alone. She says sure. We start to walk off and I can sense Inuyasha following. I stop and tell him that mom and I are going to have a heart to heart talk. He looks a little hurt but agrees. I walk off slowly and blow him a kiss.

Inuyasha:

Wonder what she's going to talk about? Oh great her brother followed me. Probably wants to talk with me. He's an ok kid I guess. I turn to him and he stops trying to sneak. I ask him what he wants. "Well I umm want to know umm what does it mean by ah ah that Kagome is your mate?" I drop my head. "Go ask the geezer." "I did but he wouldn't answer. What does it mean?" Oh gods why me? Let me say the right thing. "It means that Kagome and I love each other so much that we want to spend the rest of our lives together." He looks like he ponders that for a minute and then asks, "How does it happen?" Oh please stop with these questions kid. "It happens like this, we pledge our love to each other; you see this mark?" I point to my neck. He nods slowly. "We give this mark to each other so everyone knows that our hearts are already taken. It's a demon thing." He stares at the mark and then asks, "Did it hurt?" "Not really it feels like a little pinch." "Oh," he remarks. I wish these questions would stop. "So is Kagome going to live with you in your time?" "Yes she is, she will be with me always." He looks stricken at that. "What?" I ask. "Will you guys visit?" "Of course kid. Jeezes I won't steal her away from her family forever. We'll visit as often as we can." He smiles at that and then hugs me and smiles, "Thanks, big brother!" I kind of groaned but I pat his head. Gods what an annoying kid, but I think he's growing on me.

Kagome:

"Ok Kagome, what do you want to talk about?" Mom asks me. "I want to know how you feel about this. Honestly." Mom sits down on the ground and motions for me to follow. I sit next to her and put my head on her shoulder. "Well honestly I wish you never were pulled into that well." I feel a little sad. "Why?" She takes a few breaths and then starts to talk. "I wish you would of stayed and be my daughter, the daughter I used to know. I know you felt like you had to help them but you changed so much. I barely get to see you anymore and now you're a half demon. You can't live here anymore and I'll miss you so much. You used to be a regular girl and now you changed into an adult so fast and I missed it. I'm also glad you could find a love like I did with your father. My parents disapproved of your father too but he was a fine man and after they got to know him better they also fell in love with him. I hope you will visit often. I'll miss you. But know this I am proud of you. You turned into a courageous, beautiful, and strong woman I'm just sorry I wasn't there to see it." She has tears in her eyes when she hugs me, I do too. "Oh mom, I love you. I'll miss you too but I'll visit as often as possible" We hug and kiss each other's cheeks. "Now lets dry our tears and go back Kagome." We laugh a little bit and wipe at our tears.
