Seven Months Later-

Inuyasha:

I watch Rin play with Mirouku and Koga. Trying to race them but she can't beat Koga at all. Mirouku looks really happy now. He met a human woman, Leena, and they both fell in love with each other. They married a couple months ago. Boy did I get drunk at that party. Sesshomaru watches Rin fatherly, making sure she doesn't run away. He has a new demon that helps with Rin's care, a cat demon! She is pretty and kind, not like other cat demons. She has a long tan cat tail and tan cat ears. Her eyes are green cat eyes and her marking are over her cheeks, arms and legs. She watches Sesshomaru with desire in her eyes. I can tell she loves him as much as he loves her, but he won't admit yet. He thinks no one will notice him staring at her from time to time. I notice, boy will there be fireworks when they become mates. I look over to Kagome and Sango. Both are pregnant but Kagome is much bigger. Her stomach is so big right now that I have to put her socks and shoes on her now. I chuckle lightly as I remember when she found out she couldn't reach her feet and cried about being fat. I told her she wasn't fat just fertile with child. Sango isn't that big yet, she found out she was pregnant three months after that last battle. Kagome is rubbing her lower back and frowning. I leap over to her and ask, "Is anything wrong?" "Inuyasha I have to get up, help me up please." I grab her hand softly and pull her up carefully. She stands up fully then gasps. I see water rushing out between her legs and frown. "Inu-Inuyasha it's time." Her breathing catches as a big cramp rips through her body. I'm speechless and Sango shouts for Koga. "Koga hurry go to the village and tell the doctor for Kagome. It's time." Koga looks like someone slapped him but quickly shakes his head and runs off.

Sesshomaru:

I watch as the women, even Sammy the cat demon that Rin found near death and dragged home. Kagome is in labor and will need her strength. I walk over to Kagome and tell her, "Be strong. Inuyasha will help you as soon as he gets out of shock." I smack my brother over the head and he quickly stares at me in disbelief. I sigh and point to Kagome, "Get her to the village now. You damn fool." Inuyasha grabs Kagome and picks her up. He runs quickly toward the village. I listen Kagome scream as another pain comes. I pick up Rin and everyone else walks back slowly toward the village. I know that none of us want to see Kagome in pain. I watch as Sango look pale and rubs her stomach. She must be worried. Sammy walks next to her talking. She was quickly welcomed into our little family along with Mirouku's wife. Our family is growing bigger now.

Kagome:

The pain is terrible. It feels like it's ripping me in two. I grip Inuyasha as he carries me into the doctor's hut and lays me down carefully. I grab his hand and squeeze it as another pain rips through my body. I bite my lip and tears slip down cheeks. The contraction are so close together. The doctor is a woman and I'm grateful as she pulls my pants down and checks me. "I can see you're almost ready. I few more minutes and you can push." "I want to push now!" "Just hold it Kagome, just a little while honey." I growl at him, "It's your fault Inuyasha. You did this. Why does the woman have to give birth. Oh Inuyasha I love you please don't go." He stares at me and looks confused at my rambling. I feel the urge to push, "I can't wait, I have to push." The doctor looks again, "Ok Kagome you're ready. One. Two. Push." I push hard and the pain is so great. "Ok the head is out now push again." I take a deep breath and push hard again. I grip Inuyasha's hand hard. He kisses my forehead. I feel the baby leave my body and I close my eyes. I feel little pain as the doctor wipes the baby down and put it in my arms. "It's a boy." All of a sudden I feel more pain and I gasp. I watch as the doctor quickly cuts the cord and hands the baby to her assistant. She look at me and says here comes another one Kagome. I want you to focus on Inuyasha and push again." "I can't. I'm so tired." Inuyasha squeezes my hand lightly and whispers in my ear, "Come on Kagome, you can do it. You might even break my hand this time." I smile briefly then frown in pain. I squeeze his hand hard and push again.

Inuyasha:

Another one. Twins! I can't believe it. I watch as Kagome painfully pushes with all her might and soon there is more crying in the room. "It's a girl!" The doctor announces. Kagome relaxes and lets go of my hand and hold our daughter now. She stares up at me and smiles with tears in her eyes. I smile and kiss her forehead lightly. The assistant hands Kagome our son and Kagome lays them in each one of her arms. What a picture they make. My lovely mate and our children. Kagome looks tired but kisses each baby and smiles. The doctor cleans up Kagome and takes the children back with Kagome's blessing. "Go and tell everyone Inuyasha. I'm going to fall asleep now." I nod and put a blanket over her. She smiles and falls right to sleep. I walk outside smiling and see everyone waiting.

Sesshomaru:

My little brother comes out of the hut smiling. I had stopped listening so I could be surprised as everyone else. All of us run to him. He smiles brightly and announces, "A boy." Everyone cheers and I smile wide and pat Inuyasha's back. He smiles more brightly and says, "And a girl." Everyone looks shocked but then we all smile. "When can we see Kagome and the children?" Inuyasha look thoughtful and replies, "Tonight, bring food too. Kagome and I will need some tonight." "So Inuyasha, was the birth difficult? Is Kagome ok?" Sango asks worriedly while rubbing her stomach. "It was painful but Kagome had a face of relief and instant love when she saw the babies." I want to see my new niece and nephew but I know I have to wait like everyone else. I smile and pat Inuyasha's back lightly, "Good job little brother." Rin hugs Inuyasha, "Uncle Inu I want to see the babies, will I see them tonight?" Inuyasha pats her head and nods. Rin smiles brightly and hugs Inuyasha tighter. Sango and Koga Wave goodbye and head to their home. I pick up Rin and motion Sammy to follow. "See ya tonight little brother." I wave goodbye as Mirouku and his wife leave. I can't wait to see the little babies.

Kagome:

I wake up with the soft crying of the little babies. I sit up and see Inuyasha holding them trying to stop their crying. I giggle a little and Inuyasha looks at me with a look of disbelief. "They won't stop crying, I think they're hungry." I nod, "Give me one Inuyasha." He hands me the boy and I remove my shirt. Inuyasha stares at me as I put our son against my breast and guide him to my nipple. The boy moves his mouth around a little then latches on to my nipple and sucks. The feeling is incredible, not sexual more like a filling feeling. Like my life feels complete. I touch my son's face lightly and watch him suckle greedily. "Hungry little guy isn't he?" Inuyasha asks. I nod and watch Inuyasha hold our daughter carefully. "What are we going to name them Inuyasha? I know what I want to name our son but the girl stumps me." "I know what you want to name our son. I want him to be named Shippo too. Our daughter can be named Kitamma. I always liked that named." I nod, yes I like those names too. Shippo and Kitamma are great. I watch as our son falls asleep while nursing. I take his mouth off my nipple and pat his back lightly. Shippo belches loudly but stays asleep. "Inuyasha why don't we trade children." He nods and picks up Shippo and hands me Kitamma. I put her mouth by my other nipple and she latches on just like her brother. I watch Inuyasha hold Shippo carefully and puts him in a cradle thingy. I watch my daughter eat sleepily now and I feel so complete. "What time is Inuyasha?" "Almost eight at night. The gang will be here soon. They want to see you and the children as soon as possible." I nod and burp Kitamma and hand her to Inuyasha. "I'm going to take another nap. Wake me when they come." He sets Kitamma down and walks back to me. I finish putting my shirt on and he kisses me lightly on the lips. "I love you Kagome." I sigh and say sleepily, "I love you Inuyasha."
