That night, Kagome went to bed late and stayed in bed until the afternoon. No longer will she be woken up by that dreadful alarm clock and suffer when she goes to school.
She didn't tell her mother what happened to her that day. If she did, her mother would probably cry. The last time she told her what happened, her mother didn't stop crying for an hour, no matter how hard Kagome tried to comfort her.
Kagome was in bed, staring at the ceiling. She had to either wear long shirts or put make-up on her cuts. If her mom found out, she would probably have an anxiety attack or something. Or, she would send her daughter to see a shrink. Kagome did not want to go to see a therapist during her summer.
She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

Kagome was awoken when her telephone started to ring. She groaned and looked at her clock. It was ten o'clock in the morning. Who in the hell would call at this time?
The phone stopped ringing and she was about to drift back to sleep when her brother told her that Sango was on the phone.
Kagome reached for her phone and muffled, “Hey Sango.”
In a cheery voice, Sango said, “Morning Kagome! Guess what? My foster parents' friends are letting me rent their condo at the beach for any of my friends and myself for the whole summer. Soo, I thought I would invite you and my childhood friends. Their names are Rin, Ayami, and Souten and they are from my old town. They are already there, so I was hoping you can come.”
“No.”
“What?!”
“I am not going.”
“Why?”
“There is no way in hell that I am wearing a bathing suit at a beach and people don't like seeing fat people walking around in them. Thanks, but no thanks.”
“Please Kagome. It would make my day if you come. Please! And who cares what they think,” pleaded Sango.
Sango could hear her friend grumbling on the other end of the phone. “Fine.”
“Yeah! I am going to pick you up in an hour. Be ready when I arrive”
Then the line went dead and Kagome rolled herself out of her bed.
Sango's mother died from breast cancer when she was eight and her father died from lung cancer two years later. She and her baby brother Kohaku, eight at the time, went to a foster home. Three months later, they were adopted from a rich family that owned the biggest bank in Japan.
Sango and Kagome met in the fourth grade. They sat next to each other in class and just hit it off real well. She was the closest friend Kagome could ever have and she defended Kagome from bullies and snobs from middle school till now.
She staggered her way to her closest and grabbed her duffle bag. She stuffed in carpris, t-shirts, underwears/bras, a one-piece bathing suit, and an over shirt. Then, she put sun block, toothpaste, toothbrush, facial cleanser, and a hairbrush.
Just as she was finished, the doorbell rang. Kagome quickly got dressed and sped down the stairs. Her mother already opened the door and Sango waved.
“Hey mom, I'll be with Sango at the beach for the summer. Is that all right?” asked Kagome.
“Of course, have a good time. Call me when you want to go home,” her mother said.
Kagome smiled and walked out the door with Sango and into her car, a green Volkswagon Beetle.
The drive to the beach wasn't that far, about an hour. All they listened to were American rock music.
While they were singing, Kagome was remembering her once “close friends.” They were Eri, Arimi, and Yuka. They were friends around the same time she met Sango. Once they went to middle school, they turned their backs on her and made fun of her. They never talked to each other again.
Kagome came back to reality when her friend turned into a gravel driveway.
“We're here,” Sango announced.
The house was huge! It was all pale white and has pillars by the front French door. There was a one-car garage and Sango pulled into it.
They got out of the car, grabbed their things, and went into the house. When Kagome walked into the first room (living room) her mouth dropped. She never saw a room so big. Everything was beige and pastel colored.
“I'm afraid that I might stain something,” she muttered, “Let alone walk through it.”
Sango walked back from the kitchen and told her that her friends are already at the beach and that they should join them.
“Nah, I'll stay here. I'm going to relax a little,” said Kagome.
Sango raised an eyebrow. “You sure? You might miss some hotties out there.”
Even though it sounded tempting, she still wanted to stay in the house.
“Suit yourself. I am going to get changed and then head out. There should be some food in the fridge and there's cable. Also, the bathroom is in that hallway on your first left and your bedroom is two doors on your right if you get tired or something.”
Kagome plopped onto the sofa and two minutes later, Sango walked out in a pink bikini with a towel over her shoulder and tanning lotion in one hand.
“We should come back in an hour or so. So, catch ya later and if you change your mind, just come out and find us, OK?” said Sango and Kagome nodded.
When Sango walked out, Kagome said, “I wish I had Sango's body. I would kill for one day to have a feminine muscular body like hers.”
She turned on the television and watched whatever shows seemed appealing.

HanyouKagome962: This is a special story and I very glad you can sort of relate to the story. As I said before, I will update whenever I can. Also, I wanted to write a story that is TOTALLY different than the other ones out there since there are so many stories of thin people. Big girls need love too!
