The three went to the police station. They presented the tape recorder to one of the investigators and she pressed the PLAY button and listened.

 

The investigator was shocked that Kikyo confessed so easily.

 

“We will need to arrest Ms. Kikyo and then go to court. You will need a lawyer,” said the investigator.

 

“Don't worry, my parents are lawyers,” said InuYasha.

 

She nodded her head and the three walked outside.

 

“Oh, I can't wait to see the look on her face when she gets arrested! Kagome will be so happy to hear this,” said Sango with a devilish grin.

 

“Know what? I'll go tell Kagome this, you both just go out somewhere,” said InuYasha.

 

Sango and Miroku nodded.

 

“Wanna go to the movies?” asked Miroku.

 

“Sure,” answered Sango.

 

Before they went their separate ways, Sango leaned and said, “Tell me what Kagome said.”

 

He smiled and nodded.

Kagome was looking out the window. She sighed. There was nothing to do in the damn place. All of a sudden she heard a knock at the window and saw that it was Hojo. She smiled and motioned him in.

 

Hojo went inside the room and said, “Hi Kagome. It's so great to see you are finally awake.”

 

Kagome smiled. “Thanks Hojo. What brings you here?”

 

“Oh, I just came to visit and see how you were doing. I usually come here whenever I could to make you more comfortable while you were in a loss of consciousness.”

 

“Hojo, that's so sweet.”

 

“But, I did came here for something. Your brother did tell me that you regained consciousness and I knew this would be the best opportunity to tell you something?”

 

“And?”

“Well, I like you Kagome, a lot. I like your personality and you're beautiful Kagome. I knew you were special when I first saw you in the store,” admitted Hojo.

 

Kagome's face flushed. What can she say? Two boys told her that he likes her, InuYasha and Hojo. That never happened before.

 

“Kagome?”

 

“Hojo…I…can't, so sorry Hojo. There's someone else I care about.”

 

Hojo looked a little confused. “OK, I see it, whatever makes you happy Kagome. But if he hurts you, you know you can always come to me.”

 

The two people in the room didn't notice that there was a certain someone eavesdropping in their conversation.

 

InuYasha came to visit Kagome and tell her what happened. He saw that the door wasn't shut all the way and saw that…Hojo was in the room. InuYasha heard some of their conversation. When Hojo told and explained why that he liked her, he left before she gave Hojo her answer.
