InuYasha gloomily walked home. His shoulders were hunched and his feet were dragging on the sidewalk. He didn't want to drive his car back to the house. He would probably crash because his mind wasn't focused.

 

`She's going to out with him. He explained to her why he likes her and I didn't because her family walked in before I had the chance. Anyways, he seems to be a…n-n-nice….g-g-g-guy,' InuYasha thought, `At least Kikyo confessed. I guess she confessed so quickly because I was in my old cocky self. She always tells me anything when I act that way.'

 

A car passed him and he saw that it was that Hojo guy. His face looked a solemn. InuYasha's heart skipped a beat. Could it be that he was rejected?

 

InuYasha turned around and started to run swiftly.

 

InuYasha arrived at the hospital and went to her room. He saw that Kagome was looking out the window.

 

Kagome noticed his presence. “Hi InuYasha.”

 

“Hi Kagome, I have some good news.”

 

“You saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Geico?”

 

“What?”

 

“Sorry, I saw an American commercial. So, what's the good news?”

 

“We got Kikyo to confess.”

 

“Really?!”

 

“Yeah, we are going to court soon. My parents will represent you. Don't worry, as I said before, they're the best in Japan.”

 

Kagome smiled. Then she asked, “How did you get her to confess?”

 

“Oh, I acted my old cocky self She always loved that side of me and she'll do anything for me when I am like that. So, she confessed real easily because of that. Plus, she believes anything I say, but I doubt it now,” he answered.

 

Kagome giggled. InuYasha smiled. Then he remembered something.

 

InuYasha walked around her bed and sat on the left side. He placed a hand on hers. Kagome blushed.

 

“Remember that I didn't get the chance to tell you why I like you?”

 

Kagome nodded.

 

“Well, the reason I like is that…”
