My mom always told me that senior year is always magical. I always blew her off and thought of the magic of the Sandman. Well listen to your mothers from now on. I remember my first day as a senior in Shikon High School like it was yesterday.

“Jeeze Kagome, hurry up!” I looked up to see my best friend Sango Tetsuya running back to drag me along. “We don't wanna be late on our first day as SENIORS!” I watched as she skipped and bounced along.

“Sango, you've know my senioritis has been acting up since freshman year. I'm not a school person.” I looked up at our semi new high school. I couldn't help but grimace as I looked at the doors.

“Kagome, you claim to not like school, yet you have a 4.0. How do you do it?”

“My grandfather makes me. It's quite depressing. Let's get going to homeroom.”

“I thought we'd never get through! The freshmen always stand in the middle of the hall and are so confused they cause blocks.” I noticed Sango was bent over gasping for air.

“Well you are the one who decided to be a battering ram and run through them like a crazy person.” I laughed at the dirty look she shot me and watched her fix her shirt and brush off imaginary dirt.

“Let's see the new kids we have. My father told me we have a huge group that came this year. All of them are seniors and mainly…all boys!” She rubbed her hands together ready to devour the door just to get in.

“Just go in. You would look better if you got the man-eating look off your face.”

Sango opened the door and just before she could take a step, Kikyo pushed her away and Sango fell.

“Oh Sango, that position by my feet is very suiting for you. Why not teach little Ka-go-me to do it too.” She walked by and sat down in the very front seat. She does this every year, sit in the front seat so every time we walk by, she tries to trip us or throw something.

My blood started to boil in anger and I remember what my mom told me about magic. I walked over to Kikyo and got in her face. She was laughing with one of her friends until she noticed me.

“Oh what's wrong? I don't carry change so I can't help out a little lost girl. Now please go back to your cage like a good animal.” Her and her friend started laughing at me. I felt my face burn a bright red.

“Laugh all you want at me. I'm just telling you right now, before things escalate, there will be consequences if you continue to bother me and Sango.”

She glared at me. “Is this a threat Kagome?”

“Of course not. But this is. I will make you senior year a living hell if you so much as try to ruin mine.” I walked past her and her friend and caught a glimpse of silver and saw the two empty seats. I sat there and Sango joined me. I looked over at Kikyo and she had her mouth wide open. “Hey Kikyo, close your mouth before another dick gets in there.”

She instantly closed her mouth and turned and faced front as soon as the bell rang. “Great job Kagome! I've never seen you like that before!”

“Hello class. I will be your homeroom teacher. Just call me Mr. K. Now I'm sending some papers down the rows so I can have information about you and present to the class for the new students. I'll let you talk as long as it doesn't get out of hand. Every row get enough?”

I turned to Sango before I passed the papers back but she had her eyes locked with a dream ridden expression. She was looking at what I guessed to be a new student. I saw her smile sweetly and passed him the papers.

“I'm Miroku. Could I get a name to the beautiful lady that has made my year?” He smiled at Sango and I could see her gulp. I laughed and she blushed. I turned to hand my papers back as they got acquainted.

This is what my mom meant about senior year magic. Behind me sat a god. Silver haired, golden eyed, dog-eared, god. He must be a demon. “Hi.” Wow, I'm a loser.

“I know you can say more than that. I just heard you throw a fit at that girl up front. Why not start with your name?” He merely smirked at me and one of his fangs poked out. I smiled back and brushed my hair out of my face.

“Kagome. Who are you?”

“Inuyasha. Aren't you supposed to be working on this paper?” He leaned back and started writing.

“Oh yeah!” I turned around and starting working. I finished it so I turned it in.

“Okay class if you're done please turn in your papers. The bell is about to ring. We'll present these tomorrow so be on time! Have a great day!”

The bell rang as I turned to get my things and I saw Kikyo all on Inuyasha. Well maybe it wasn't magic…Then I saw him fling her off of him and grabbed my arm.

“Let's go to class Kagome.” He started walking and looked over at the desk I was just occupying. Sango and Miroku were still talking so I guess I could walk with him.

“What about my stuff?” I tried to pull away but he was holding very strongly. It kind of comforted me.

“I got your stuff. Let's go before that girl tries to touch me again.” I laughed and finally relaxed. I guess he felt how tense I was because I felt him relax after me. I stole his schedule and looked at it.

“Well looky here, we have homeroom, 2nd period, 4th period, and lunch together.” I smiled up at him and he smiled back, this time a full smile.

“Well I think I'm going to like this school.” He held the door open for me and got us a seat and saved one for Sango and Miroku.

AN: Well I'm finally out of season. So I decided to get some creativity out. I don't know how long this story will go on. Right now it's just a rambling of my imagination and love for Inuyasha lol.
