“So Kagome, how old are you?” He didn't speak very loud even though the teacher was letting us talk. Sango and Miroku couldn't help but talk loudly.

 

“Hey Sango, please try not to drool on my shirt.” I laughed at my friend as she blushed and closed her mouth. “Well, I love that shirt; I didn't want it drooled on. Don't take Chemistry class too literally Sango.” I laughed and turned back to Inuyasha. “But I'm 17. I'm almost 18 though.” I smiled at him. “And you sir?”

 

“I'm 18.” Something was bugging him.

 

“What's wrong? Did I say something wrong?” I was worried. I felt connected to Inuyasha and here I might lose him.

 

“Why haven't you asked about my ears?” One of them tweaked to the side.

 

“What about them? I think they're adorable.” I smiled evilly at them. I really wanted to rub them.

 

“But…I'm a hanyou…Why would you even want to be seen walking next to me or talking to me?”

 

“I don't care what you are. You shouldn't let people bring you down. How do you think I deal with Kikyo?”

 

“Okay class. I'm coming around and you're going to tell me who you lab partner is. So go sit with them now if you aren't already.”

 

Sango ran up to me and almost tackled me into an empty corner of the room. “Kagome would you be mad if I said I wanted to be Miroku's lab partner? I wanna be yours too but Miroku is so funny and so charming and ahhh….”

 

I laughed and took her back to the desks and sat with Inuyasha. She lit up with happiness. She winked at me as a way of thanking me. “Looks like our friends have a case of the love bug.” Inuyasha said.

 

“I guess so.”

 

“Higurashi and Takahashi, are you lab partners?”

 

“Yes sir.”

 

He scribbled down our names and went on to Miroku and Sango.

 

“How is it we have 4th period together? I have Men's P.E. You have Women's.” He went a bit cross-eyed in his confusion.

 

“Well we have it in the gym together. Sometimes we do girls versus boys. Since it's nice we'll be going outside. I hate gym class.”

 

“Why, sports are fun.”

 

“Not when Kikyo is usually in that class with me. She stands around and makes us do twice the work. But this year I'm not doing shit for her. She can learn to hold her own weight, small as it might be, but still.”

 

“Are you two related? You look similar in facial features but you have a certain warmth about you…”

 

“NO! Ugh, I was hoping you wouldn't notice that. We do look alike but I'm much shorter, and she's a cold hearted bitch. She's 5'8 and I'm 5'2. She keeps her hair all one length I play mine up with layers. She-“

 

“I'm sorry Kagome. I didn't mean to get you started on her.” He laughed. “Yeah, she's pretty, but a false pretty.” My face wilted when he admitted she was pretty. “But you are by far the most gorgeous women I've seen in my life.” He stood up and started to walk to the door. The bell rang.

 

“Hey Yash wait up!” Miroku yelled and ran after him waving by to Sango. “I'll see you in 4th period Sango!”

 

I guess I was moving too slow for Sango because she pushed me off my stool. “Hey anyone there Kagome?! What's with that look on your face? Let's go to Language so we can get our seats. What's wrong with you?”

 

“Nothing, just loving senior year…”

“Here are your books. I will assign what chapters need to be read each week. If you don't finish those chapters, your grade will suffer because we will have quizzes on them every Friday. This is a really easy and fun class. Read a few chapters take a quiz, watch a movie every once in awhile and ta-dah. We're not going to start until tomorrow so I'm going to pass around a clipboard. Write down where you are sitting if you want to sit there for the year. Don't get too loud and you have the rest of the hour.”

 

“Okay Sango spill it. You like him?” I couldn't help but grill her for answers.

 

“Well it's too early to tell. But he's growing on me very quickly. He's so sweet. He is kinda perverted but I think I can keep him under control. He's very handsome too…What about Inuyasha? I could see you blushing; practically feel the heat from your face from where I was sitting. Let it all out Kagome.”

 

“Well he is different. He's a hanyou, but I don't care if he is or isn't. But he is very rough on the outside but I can tell inside, he's hiding his sweet side. He told me I was the most beautiful woman he's ever seen…that's what had me blushing so bad.”

 

Sango squealed with excitement. “You know what this means?!!”

 

“Sango, no.”

 

“Yes Kagome. You have to invite him!”

 

“Sango, please don't say it…”

 

“Movie night at my house!” I just put my head down and whined. “Remember last time you tried to ditch? Well it'll happen again if you don't come.” She gave me a wicked smile and started a list on things she'll need to buy and what movies to get.

 

“Sango, please don't do this to me. Last movie night I punched Hojo in the face.”

 

“That's because he got happy hands. We can even go to your favorite ice cream place…”

 

“As long as you buy it, I'll come willingly.”

 

“Deal.”

 

As Sango completed her list I sat and thought about Inuyasha. `I really hope you say yes and come to the movie night…'

 

“Oh and bring cute pj's. You don't wanna walk around in ugly ones with boys around.” She laughed and I pushed her.

 

The bell rang and I gathered my stuff. “Let's go show Kikyo how to play some sports for herself. Shall we?”

 

 

AN: It was going to be up along with the first chapter, but I got sleepy lol. Hope you enjoy my ramblings. I might post up one more chapter tonight, if I don't go out. Thanks ^_^
