"Sango I don't get this
t all " I hate math It will never change I looked over at Sango's worksheet to
discover she didn't even have her name on it "Ground control to Major Sango! You haven't even done
anything!"
"I'm planning out tonight Kagome I don't know what I wanna wear " Sango tapped her fingers I
watched her as she put away her stuff and got her things together to leave "You gonna come straight
over?"
"No I'm going to get my stuff together when I get home Then I'll be right over " Maybe I'll sprain my
ankle and not have to go
The final bell rang. We spotted Inuyasha and Miroku and caught up to them. Sango called out to them,
"Hey guys be at my house at 5 I'll find the movie and supply snacks Later!" They waved and nodded as
we walked home.
"You're awfully quiet Kagome What's wrong?"
"Nothing really just nervous I guess " I was terrified "I'll see you tonight though " I heard Sango say
something, but I was halfway up the shrine steps. I stepped inside to greet my mother.
"Hello hun how was school?"
"Boring going to stay at Sango's tonight though Met some new friends they're going to be there too
they aren't staying though "
"Okay I'm going to go out tonight I'm taking Souta with me if you need anything call my cell I'm
leaving to go pick him up though "
"Okay I'll see you later mom "
I went up to my room threw my bags down and found my overnight bag. Problem number one; what pjs
to wear. I sat down on my bed as I looked through my stuff.
I guess I drifted off and looked at the time. It was 4:52, crap. I quickly grabbed a pair of pjs from the top
of the pile, grabbed some jeans and a shirt for tomorrow at school. I ran to my bathroom and grabbed
my toiletries bag and checked my hair and makeup. I grabbed my school bag and ran out the door.
I heard my phone ringing and stopped to answer it "Um Kagome Where are you? You can't ditch silly "
It was Sango, and by the sound of the background, I was the one missing from the equation.
"I'm actually walking up to your door now calm down " I laughed as I hung up the phone She opened
the door and pulled me in.
"Hurry up you're about to miss the best part!"
"Why are you whispering and what's this `best part'?" She hushed me and led me to her family room.
She peeked around the corner, and I looked too. Inuyasha and Miroku were both on the floor rolling
around with Sango's cat Kirara I couldn't help but laugh
"Well we know who loves cats " I walked into the room and they both froze and stared at us. I went
past both of them and went to Sango's room to put my stuff down I went to the kitchen to grab the
snacks to move them into the family room and saw Inuyasha there.
"What are you up to in here?" I asked He turned around and just lifted his eyebrow.
"Well I was helping but seeing as my help is unappreciated I'll just go sit in the other room " He turned
to leave when I stopped him.
"Hey I was just asking a question I'd really like help bringing this into the other room if you would help
me, please?" Oh wow I'm a Grade

"Kagome calm down I was just teasing you Of course I will help Didn't want Sango and Miroku kissy
kissy all around me so I came to find you You're a good friend " He grabbed the majority of the snacks
and soda and left.
Wow. A friend, lucky me. Hearing that was a blow to the stomach. I stalked back into the other room.
"Hey Kagome you ready? I picked a good one this time I promise " Sango was knealing in front of the tv
putting the movie in.
I laughed "Sango you have horrible taste in movies and you know that What is it this time?" I sat down
and Inuyasha appeared and sat next to me Just like a friend
"Paranormal ctivity Supposedly it's really scary!" She ran and turned the lights out then jumped on
the couch.

"Wow Sango I have to admit that was a dumb movie " Inuyasha laughed at my joke that did make me
feel better "How about you own up to your promise and buy me that ice cream?"
"I thought it was good Okay ice cream it is!" She slipped her shoes on and we were out the door.
Miroku and Sango were up ahead talking as I was walking next to Inuyasha.
"So Sango has a bad taste in movies?"
"Yeah always has She loves them; I just try hard to stay awake " We reached the ice cream parlor and
got in line.
"There are so many choices I don't know what to get " He scratched his ears and I whimpered They are
just so cute I wanted to scratch them "What do you recommend?"
"You'd have to ask Sango I always get the same thing Safety is nice She does look very busy though " I
pointed toward Sango and Miroku "I always get the strawberry cheesecake sundae
Inuyasha stepped up to place his order "I'll have a strawberry cheesecake sundae and a banana split
please " The cashier gave him the total he handed over the money and stepped aside
"You didn't have to buy mine Sango owes me an ice cream " He grabbed our ice cream and found us a
table. Before I could ask any other questions Sango and Miroku came over.
"Hey Inuyasha way to wait for us " I started laughing Him and Sango were the ones practically doing a 3
legged race, stuck to each other and took their time ordering.
"Miroku I won't even say anything as to not embarrass you You're lucky "
We sat and ate our ice cream and talked a bit more. About past backgrounds to types of music. I lost
track of time and yawned "Wow I'm tired What time is it?"Let's go "
We stopped at a street a block away from Sango's road "This is where we part ladies we will see you
both tomorrow Bright and early " Miroku kissed Sango's hand and Sango blushed and giggled I laughed
and turned to Inuyasha.
"Have a nice night Inuyasha I'll see you tomorrow "
"You too Kagome I can't wait "
We waved each other good bye and turned to keep walking to Sango's house "I can't wait till tomorrow

I just walked silently beside Sango. I really hoped things work out for Sango and Miroku.
We walked back to Sango's room and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was sleeping
