I don't remember what woke me up I felt warmth though I peeked open one eye and saw clear blue
skies and sunshine. I instantly sat up and saw Sango staring out her window " re we there? I'm so
excited!"
"Finally she wakes up " Sango turned her attention from the window to look at me and laugh "Love the
hair "
I quickly finger combed my hair while giving Sango a dirty look "Can we turn on some music?"
"Sure Kags " Yash turned the radio on and turned to look at me Just as he was about to say something
Sango screamed.
Wake up in the morning

"Oh Kagome! I love this song!" I laughed as we said all the words and danced in our seats
"We are on the street, can you guys quiet down?" Miroku screamed over our singing I leaned forward
to crank the radio up and rolled my window down. Sango followed after. As we are cruising down the
street families are staring at us.
Miroku sped up and swerved into the driveway. He hurried and shut the car off. "Sango, can you go
inside and start opening windows? Inuyasha and I will unpack the car "
We ran inside, and hurriedly opened the windows. We were about to sit down on the couch in the main
room when I saw the balcony "Sango, look out here!" We rushed outside and looked at the beautiful
blue waters and gorgeous beige sand "Let's go now! We can unpack later, we have all day!" We rushed
out to the car where the guys were just finishing getting things out. We grabbed as much as we could to
help and ran inside.
"Okay boys, go get changed, we are hitting the beach right now! Miroku, will you show us our room so
we can go get changed?"
"Oh but dear Sango, you and Kagome can change right here where we can see That'd be much better "
Before I could get a word out Inuyasha had Miroku by the ear and drug him to the other side of the
house. I laughed and looked and Sango. She was trying to hold back laughter too. I grabbed my suitcase
and went down the hallway till I found a room.

"Feh They rush us and they aren't even ready yet Figures Hey can you girls go any slower?!"
"Calm down Yash we are coming!" We ran down the hall with our beach bags and ran right past them
out to the beach "C'mon slowpokes!" We found a good spot and I laid out my towel and put my stuff
down. I removed my shorts and tank top to reveal a simple white bikini with black strings.
I ran into the waves and splashed around with Sango for a bit "Where did the boys go?" I looked by my
stuff and up at the house and didn't see either one of them "Sango, I don't see them..."
"I'm sure they're fine. Let's get out, I'm getting pruny. Time for my last tan of the year." We waded our
way back to the shore and laid out on our towels. I sprayed some tanning oil on and fell back on my
towel. "I never want to go back to school Sango. What would make this perfect is a water."
"See Miroku, told you they'd be thirsty." I sat up and saw Yash and Miroku. All I can say is wow. They
were turning heads on the beach and all I could do was stare. Miroku was toned with some extra muscle
and some nice abs. But what I was focused on was Yash. He was already a bit tan with a few freckles on
his amazing shoulders. An amazing set of abs. He let his hair loose and his swimming shorts were low on
his hips.
"No Kagome, now it's perfect." Sango winked at me and took her water. Miroku put his towel down and
lay next to Sango. They drifted into their own conversation as Yash sat next to me.
"Took you long enough to get water. Eyeing all the pretty ladies here Yash?" I laughed and took a swig of
my water. He smiled at me.
"There is only one pretty lady that I'm looking at. Nothing will change that." He kissed me on the cheek
and I giggled. "So what are the plans tonight?" Miroku and Sango turned to face Yash.
"Good question. How about we stick together today. Tomorrow we can split off. Monday before we
leave Yash and I need to do some stuff so you girls can have girl time or whatever you do." I looked at
Sango and she gave me a mischievous grin. She tilted her head back to the water. After about two
seconds, I registered what she was saying.
She stood up and dripped some of her water on Miroku. She ran off as Yash and I laughed. I took a
handful of sand and threw it in Yash's hair. I ran towards Sango. When I caught up to where she was
standing, we looked back to see them still sitting there.
"Kags, you have a head start, I would use it. Once I catch you, you're getting dunked." Yash stood up and
stared at me. Miroku called out, "Same goes for you Sango."
Yash held out his hand. "You only get five seconds." I looked at Sango and decided to split up. Sango ran
towards the beach bar as I ran back towards the house. I heard Yash yell that he was coming. I sprinted
up the stairs of the beach house and ran into the house. I found a room that we haven't used and hid in
there in the closet. About ten seconds later, I heard steady footsteps in the house. I held my breath.
"Oh Ka-go-me. I know you're in the house. He opened a few doors and looked through the room. "I can
smell you. Remember Kags, I'm a hanyou. You're really close." As soon as he said close the door to the
room I was in opened. He walked around and finally stopped right in front of the closet. He grabbed the
door and flung it open. I screamed and tried to run in a fit of laughter but he caught me.
"Yash please don't dunk me!" He picked me up bridal style as I kicked around trying to get him to drop
me. We were walking down towards the water and he was picking up speed. "If you dunk me, you're
going with me! Soon he was waist deep in water. I could feel the water on my back and bottom. "Please,
don't dunk me." I batted my eyelashes at him and his face softened and he finally spoke.
"I was just kidding. Do me a favor and I won't dunk you." He smirked.
"Okay. What is it?" I got a better grip around his next so I could hold on better.
"Kiss me in the ocean. Right now." He adjusted his hold on me and I pulled myself up to meet his lips. He
licked my lips and I opened my mouth to grant him entrance. Our tongues lightly grazing each other. Just
when I pulled away and smiled, he smiled, and dunked me in the water. I came up to him pointing and
laughing. I pushed his shoulders and dunked him. By the time he got back up he wrapped his arms
around me and went under water. I opened my eyes to see him staring at me, with a smile on his face.
He looked at my lips and kissed me underwater.
When we finally got back up for air I looked at him. "I thought you said you weren't going to dunk me!"
He laughed as he smoothed the hair out of his face.
"I said kiss me IN the ocean. Come on, I could use a nap. I'll walk you to your towel."
"Me too. I'm sleepy." We walked towards our towels hand in hand to find Sango and Miroku making up.
Or should I say out. "Well, we are going to go take a nap. Sorry to disturb." Both just gave a high five and
kept going. Yash helped me gather my things and offered to carry my stuff back to the house.
We got to the house and as I turned to go to the room I had changed in Yash grabbed my arm. "Where
are you going?"
"I'm going to my room to take a nap. That's why we came back."
"You're not sleeping there though, you're sleeping with me." He started walking to his room and I just
stood there.
"I don't know Yash we just started dating. I don't want to rush anything." I looked down at my feet. He
put a finger under my chin.
"Look at me Kags. I didn't mean it that way. We are just sleeping. I want to take it slow too. But I didn't
see the problem with you being in the same bed as me. I don't want to pressure you into anything you
don't want to."
"It's fine. I took it the wrong way. Lead the way." We got to his room and I pulled back the covers and
got comfortable. Yash grabbed a blanket and laid it on top of the covers and got under. He wrapped his
arm around me and rested his head on top of mine. I was too wrapped up in how I was feeling to notice
his steady breathing. He was asleep so quickly. "Oh Yash, I could stay this way forever." I shut my eyes
with a smile. I felt him grip me tighter and I too fell asleep.
