“You must have a firmer grip on it, Kagome.” Sesshoumaru found he could not hide his frustration at the girl's hopelessness.
“I'm sorry! I'm trying!” <i>He must think I'm such an idiot. </i>
“Relax. Allow <i>it</i> to tell you when it wants more.”
“I can't tell the difference. I'm too worried I'm going to break it!”
“I assure you, you cannot. Now focus.”
“Ok, ok. But this whole hand-foot coordination thing is throwing me all off.” Kagome began to wonder how much longer Sesshoumaru was going to subject her to such humiliation.
“Here. I will guide your hand this time so it makes more sense.” He grabbed her hand and thrust it forward, then back. “Did you feel it that time?”
“Yeah, I guess. It's just awkward positioning. And all this jerking back and forth isn't helping me to relax either.”
“Perhaps you would like me to take over? There will undoubtedly be less jerking that way.” Sesshoumaru wanted nothing more than to save what was left of his transmission.
"Grrrrrrr…I'm sorry, I can't do this.”
“Pull over at the next stop, Kagome. First I must teach you how to <i>relax</i>.”
“Fine. How are we going to do that?” As she pulled the car over slowly she started to panic when she looked over and saw the smirk in his eyes. <i>Wait, what is he talking about?</i>
“I will show you.”
“I'm sorry! I'm trying!” <i>He must think I'm such an idiot. </i>
“Relax. Allow <i>it</i> to tell you when it wants more.”
