AN: Sorry for the delay with up-dating, but I had that virus and lost all my work and I had to start over…oh the horror. : ) So I'm back and I've corrected the other chapters… (Hopefully I got them all…if not please let me know.) The gardens behind the castle

God she's beautiful! I can't believe tomorrow we are getting married. Am I ready for such a big step? I mean I hardly know her, I don't even know what to say to her?

"Ummm, Kagome, what do you…"

"Oh my! are those Azalia-Tsutsuji? I didn't think they were in bloom now? Oh aren't they pretty Inuyasha?" Kagome said as she bent over the flowers to smell their sweet scent.

"Umm yeah I guess" Inuyasha mumbled "umm my mother likes them. So my father had them planted for her." Inuyasha started to blush when Kagome turned towards him and smiled

"Your father must really love your mother then" Kagome said walking up to his side before then moved on.

"Yeah, my father does. You should see them when they think there alone...keh… they like hor…kids" Inuyasha stumbled to say the right thing "Umm, my father…he is always by my mother just like my mother is always by him…"

"I see, that must be nice to love someone that much" Kagome said softly as they walked over a small bridge. Stopping at the top of the bridge to look at the water below " I don't really remember my mother, she died when I was very young. But my father would tell me stories of how they met and fall in love…sometime if I close my eyes I can picture it" she turned and looked at Inuyasha "That must sound so stupid to you…I'm sorr.."Kagome never finished as Inuyasha put one finger on her lips

"It's not stupid, it's sad. I don't know what its like to lose a family member, and I don't want to try. Kagome…Do you …I mean …Want to marry me?" Inuyasha asked quietly looking into her eyes

Kagome blinked up at him and smiled "At first I was shy about coming here, worrying if you would like me. Now that I'm here. I realize I want to marry you. I like you very much and I know that maybe one day we can be more then friends." Kagome said as she started to blush

"I'm glad because I would like to marry you too" Inuyasha said softly "May I kiss you

Kagome?"

Kagome blushed and lowered her head and nodded. Inuyasha smiled at the crown of her head and slowly lifted her head so he could look into her eyes. Still smiling softly he leaned in and put a soft kiss on her lips. Inuyasha slowly put his arms around her and pulled her into his body. He was amazed at how soft she felt and how right she felt in his arms.

Kagome was in heaven the feel of his arms, so strong, yet gentle as they held her. She pictured how this would feel ever since she was a little, but never in her wildest dreams did she think it would feel like this.

"Aham"

Startled by the noise they jumped away from each other. Kagome still blushing look up at the person who interrupted them "SANGO" Kagome all but yelled as she ran to her friend. Giving her friend the once over to make sure she was alright

"Are you alright Sango?"Kagome asked still hugging her friend

"Of course, milady I'm fine" Sango replied before stepping away "Did I interrupt something?" Sango asked with a smile

"What…umm…no…umm Sango this is Inuyasha…I mean Lord Inuyasha, my.."Kagome blushed trying to overcome her shyness

Sango smiled and looked up at the dog demon "Hello my' Lord…I am Sango Milady's companion" she said with a deep bow

"Hello, Sango. It's good to see that you're alright. I know that Kagome was worried about. So I'm glad that your alright" Inuyasha replied with a nod of his head.

Inuyasha turned towards Kagome who was still blushing and looking at her feet. He walked up to her, taking her hand "Well Kagome it's getting late…I should let you get some sleep. Sango will accompany you. Goodnight milady" and with a quick kiss on her hand he left.

"So, what do you say now?" Sango asked as they walked towards their rooms

"I don't know…he's very cute, and surprisingly nice. I think I will be happy with him. At least I hope so" Kagome answered in a soft voice "Sango, tomorrow I'm to wed. Do you think my…wedding night…will be like my parents…magical and sweet?"

"Honestly, I don't know. I hope that it is special for you and Inuyasha. Just be yourself."
