It's like a dream
"Young lady what is your name." Says the man as I stand up in front of them still raped in a blanket.
"Kagome and yours."
"I am Miroku." He points to himself. the girl next to me smiles despite the mood of the moment.
"I'm Sango." The little boy jumps up handing me my school cloths and unmentionables much to my embarrassment.
"I'm Shippo!!!!!" I have to admit he's cute.
"and I am Keade..." Says the old women with a motherly smile.
"It's a pleasure..." I say blushing a little at my state of dress. Realizing this she smiles and dose something that made me love her for ever... "Let's go out so Kagome can get dressed."
"yes." they all walk out except InuYasha who is getting dressed himself. Why am I embarrassed about him seeing me naked I mean he has already seen and touched so much of me...I hate my life sometimes...getting dressed real quick I follow InuYasha out of the cave.
everyone was waiting for us outside the cave and I wished for a moment that they would leave but then InuYasha and me would be left alone to talk about our 'experience' together something I really didn't want to do at the moment.
"Lady Kagome." Said Miroku to me his voice was level as if there was nothing strange about what had happened at all. "Would you like to come with us to the village to discuss what has happened here?"
At first I hesitated not understanding at all why he used the term village but then I decided what the hell I've got nothing better to do. "Sure why not." With that they turned and began to walk and so I followed. Silence was all that could be heard as we walked, silence. You now what's funny to me, they say you can hear silence but then again isn't the definition of silence the absence of sound. So how can you here it? Stupid world why can't you just make since for once?
We arrived at a small 'village' that's what it was a regular 16th century village. The whole shebang; horses in the nearby pastures, rice fields, houses with no doors besides curtains, people in kimono's, cats chasing mice even. That was the setting of this place and somehow I felt more at home here, than at any other place on earth even my own home...
"Here we are Kagome this is my house and the young ones live her to."
"You do?" I said as we entered the old hut though a doorway covered by cloth. Inside there was a fire pit with a big pot over it and there was also two, no four palettes for sleeping. Sango sat and motioned for me to sit there next to her and so I did.
"We all live her except Inu here he has a cave/den thing going up in his forest." Said Sango smiling at me.
"I noticed but why do you live here are you all related or something."
"No we're orphans."
"Oh." I felt bad about that.
"Our village was destroyed long ago when we were still little." Miroku informed me. "Our parents were killed and somehow the three of us escaped with Inu's help. Him being hanyou and all." I felt dump asking the next question especially because of the weird looks that came with it.
"What's a hanyou?" The looks were so horrible...
"A half youkia."
"Oh..." I though about this for a sec before the next question came.
"What's a youkia?" they all looked at me, no stared, fits better with blank expressions.
"Inu?" Miroku looked at him. "What did you do to this girl when you did it? She's messed up..."
"Hey!!!!!" I jumped up to defend myself. "Who you calling messed up look at you."
"what about me?"
"For starters look at what your wearing and your hair what's with the ponytail thingy and then there's that gold staff!!!!!"
"What are you talking about your the one that's strange looking I mean those cloths. Your kimono is way to short...personally I like it..." he put an evil grin on his face that was begging to be slapped and so I did the only natural thing that any women would do...
*slap*
"she is my new hero!!!!!" Sango yelled to the sound. "Finally it's about time someone did that to the stupid perverted monk boy!!!!"
"He's a monk?"
"In training." Keade corrected.
"You deserved that one Monkie...!!!!" Said Inu happily forgetting for the moment that what he had done was by fare worst.
"Oww lady Kagome that really hurt..."
"Well then don't be so perverted for crying out loud! Your going to be a monk!!!!"
"I know..." For a long while we all sat thinking about things mainly me thinking about this dream...was it that, a dream I mean...was it really a dream or was I pulling a Wizard of Oz. Anytime now I'm going to be saying 'self I don't think were in Japan anymore.'
"Kagome?" A voice interrupted me from my thoughts. Blinking a few times I came back to reality.
"Yes?"
"Where do you come from."
"A...village called Tokyo. It's fare away from her a very long way...I wish I could go back..." When I said this I could tell that my heart wasn't in that statement that I really didn't want to go that I wanted to stay...I wish I could stay...and never go back to that place that I called home...for it was there that I had become alone that I lost all hope in ever finding anyone to understand me...and if this is a dream I wish I would never wake up...
"I got an idea!!!! Why don't we help you get back! Do you know the way...?" It was then that it hit me I had no idea were I was or how to get back to were I belonged. Inside me I sighed thanking the gods for this way out...of going home.
"No I have no idea how to get there..." For some reason I started to cry not that I was sad but I felt like I needed to cry. A arm came around me and hugged me to a warm old body...Keade.
"don't cry now we'll find away to get you back home it will be ok I promise." Her words couldn't be described as comforting no they were more...they were words of a women who knew how I felt, as if she had experienced the same thing before.
"I can't help it..." She turned me so that I could lay my head onto her shoulder.
"It's ok Kagome sometimes you just need to cry..." Inu stood up and left.
"Where's he going?" I asked rubbing my eyes.
"He doesn't like the smell of crying."
"He can smell it?"
"It's all part of being a hanyou. There kind of like I guess you could say people with the sense's of dogs and cats."
"that explains the cute ears." I said giggling they smiled as I dried my eyes. "Do you guys think bad of me for what I did?" I asked it I had to ask it, that almighty question.
"No we don't but I do have to ask you one thing..." Said Keade.
"Yes."
"Why did you?" I looked at her. Her eyes smiled at me telling me it was ok to tell her the truth.
"I thought it was a dream..." that was it the real reason I did it...it was a dream a dream this was all a dream...
hope you like review...
