InuYasha and the others wonder what they will do to stop this growing poison. This is another short chapter but the next chapter will be longer I promise ^_^ please R&R for comments/ suggestions to help me make this better. thank you and enjoy!

I do not own any of the InuYasha characters. School has started for me. . . It might take me longer to update the chapters. This one was a little rushed u.u Hope you all Enjoy.

Chapter V

After they had buried Kirara and Shippo and gave them their last prayers, they headed back to Kaede's hut to eat. The group did not have much of an appetite and did not say much. A few hours had past.

InuYasha, Sango, and Kagome were outside trying to enjoy the summer weather. Miroku stayed inside to have a little talk with Kaede about the recent events.

“Kaede, I fear that this is Naraku's doing. Before we fled the castle, a strong miasma filled the whole area. It's possible that it could have caused Kirara and Shippo's death.” Kaede pondered.

Miroku looked at his right hand where his curse lies. “I always thought that my demise would be due to my Wind Tunnel and not from a mere poison… Kaede, you must know some kind of cure, antidote, anything that could help us.”

Once again she paused to think. “I know a few remedies that could help… but I am not sure if it would work completely.”

“I think it would be best to try anything at this point.”

Suddenly Miroku clutched his chest in pain. “Damn, the pain is getting worst… the poison must be getting stronger.”

Meanwhile, the others were outside talking.

“Ever since we fled the castle, I have been feeling rather sick. It feels as though someone is holding my heart and continues to hold it tighter as time goes by.” Sango said after a moment of silence.

“I have been having that same feeling but I think it's due to a cold I must have picked up at the last village.” Kagome said after a sneeze.

“I feel fine.” InuYasha said even though he was not sure himself.

Miroku and Kaede came outside to join the others. They explained to the others what the plan was.

“We have decided it would be best that we stay here to help Kaede find some sort of cure to this poison.”

InuYasha was not pleased with this idea. “Damnit! Do we honestly have to stand here and do nothing!”

“Do ye have a better idea?” asked Kaede.

“In fact I do… but I'm not sure if it will work.” He replied. “I'll go see if I can convince him to help us.”

“Who are you talking about InuYasha?” Miroku asked.

“There's no time. You all stay here and figure something out for that poison. I'm going to look for him.”

InuYasha ran into the forest in a hurry. He left everyone confused.
