Chapter five: A Team :

Kagome and Inuyasha learned to trust each other after traveling together for two years. Kagome was now seventeen and Inuyasha was now nineteen. They had three fourths of the jewel. They were good friends, but still argued. Kagome would always carry the shards.
The two went place to place and were having an okay time. They'd fight off evil demons, save others, and much more! They made a good team.

Kagome smiled as she picked herbs for wounds. She was humming a beautiful tune. She didn't hear the twig behind her snap. A mysterious man grinned. He grabbed her and disappeared within the night.

Inuyasha sighed. Kagome was suppose to be back any minute now. 'I should tell Kagome.. I am sure now.. I love her.. Tonight? Yes tonight.' Inuyasha tiredly thought. He was asleep now.

Inuyasha woke up early the next morning. "Kagome? Kagome?!" Inuyasha panicked. 'Did she leave me?' He pondered.
Inuyasha traveled into the village. His intentions were to question villagers. They all knew him and Kagome so it should've been easy to get answers.

"Nope.." The monk of the village answered. "No sign of Kago.." He was interrupted.
"A man took off carrying her." A village mother explained. She failed to mention that Kagome was unconcious.
Inuyasha saddened. 'She left?' He thought. 'Did she even care?' He pondered on.
Inuyasha sadly walked away feeling betrayed. He'd fallen in love with Kagome too!
