"What is that on your head, love?" Kouga asked looking at the CD player.

"It's mine, and you better not touch it!"

Ang couldn't believe she said that to the wolf prince.

"Who are you?" he calmly asked.

"She is our friend, and is joining us on our journeys." Kagome told him.

He raised a brow and smirked.

"Yeah. I'm Kouga, Leader of the…"

Ang sighed and interrupted him. "I know, Kouga, Leader of the Wolf Demon tribe. You love Kagome, but she wants Inuyasha. Nice to meet ya!" She said extending a hand.

"I guess they told you about me huh?" He smirked.

"No, I have seen you before, I know your past and future, but I am not to say a word unless it is life threatening."

Kouga looked at her and then the others in the group. He looked toward the hills and then back to Ang.

"Uh, ok. I must go, my pack needs me, Goodbye Kagome."

Without another word, he took off, a tornado of wind following behind him.

"He's cute!" Ang said to herself, not realizing all had heard.

"Ha, stupid whelp!" Inuyasha said.

"You think he's cute?" Sango looked disbelieving.

"I didn't realize I said that out loud, but yes, he's cute." Ang responded.

They started walking again and Kagome lead Ang off to the side of the group, walking a little further behind.

"Ang, I need your help. I know we just meet and all, but I want to do something and you're the only one who can help me."

Ang looked at Kagome and knew she was sincere about whatever it was she wanted to do.

"Ok. What is it?"

Kagome blushed dark red and stopped walking, forcing Ang to do the same.

"I want to use this song on here and sing it." Kagome felt her throat tighten.

"That's cool. What do you wanna sing it for though?" Ang asked, though she had a clue.

"Um, for, because, I wanna, sing it to Inuyasha!" She rushed out.

As soon as Kagome blushed, Ang chuckled.

"It's ok. Which song did you want to use?"

Kagome handed her the headphones and she listened.

"Ah, this explains you guys PERFECTLY!" Ang said excitedly as she listened. "Only Hope is a very beautiful song. Do you know any of the words yet?"

She watched Kagome shake her head in a silent `No'.

"Don't worry. I will teach you, and by the time your done, Inuyasha will be falling at your feet!"

Ang was excited that Kagome trusted her with something this big.

"Thanks for trusting me to help you. Not many people ask me to help them with ANYTHING!"

Kagome smiled a friendly smile.

"You're a good friend and person, I don't see why no one would ask you for help."

She was obviously puzzled.

"Where I come from, everyone sticks to themselves. Especially as they get older." She told her.

From up ahead, Inuyasha noticed that Kagome and the new girl were missing.

"Were did they go?"

Shippou now noticed this as well.

"KAGOME!" He yelled.

"Stay here. I'll get them."

Inuyasha took off, retracing his steps. Ang saw him coming behind Kagome.

"Uh Oh!" She said.

Kagome turned around and also saw him approaching.

"What did you two stop for?" He growled.

"I had to ask Ang something without you hearing!" Kagome said lightly.

"Don't do it again! You had Shippou worried." Inuyasha growled again, showing his anger at having to come back.

Ang saw the look on his face and knew that he was also worried, but only for Kagome. That made her smile.

"What are you smiling for?" Inuyasha snorted at her.

"Oh, I just, to be honest. You!" She said and watched him freeze.

She couldn't help laughing at him. Kagome didn't know what was going on.

"What do you mean!" He yelled.

"Calm down. I just meant that I know you were worried about Kagome."

Inuyasha then visibly blushed.

"I just wanted to make sure she hadn't gotten taken by another Youkai. Humph!"

He turned around and started walking back to the others.

"You know, that's how you can tell he loves you!" Ang whispered to Kagome.

Just then, Ang saw something moving in the trees. Her heart squeezed in sudden fear and stopped moving. She looked around and noticed that they were in a large clearing. Anything could attack them. Kagome noticed Ang stop behind her. She watched Ang look around. Just then, Kagome felt it too, as did Inuyasha.

"Kagome. Get her back."

Kagome pushed a now stiff Ang towards the bushes and hid themselves.

"What's going on?"

Kagome stood and readied her bow and arrows.

"It's Sesshoumaru!" She said simply.

Kagome started walk towards Inuyasha, who was in the middle of the clearing. Ang sat there and watched but nothing happened. The hair on the back of her neck was standing up, she knew that danger was still around. A snapping branch behind her made her gasp and turn around. She was about to scream when a clawed hand covered her mouth. Looking up, she saw a pair of deep, golden almost amber like eyes. The beauty of them made her breath catch in her throat. She felt arms wrap around her and lift her off the ground. Looking into the eyes of her mysterious captor, she didn't see him pull his hand back and swing. She only felt a sharp pain in her jaw and then fainted.

Sesshoumaru looked at the girl he was holding, she held no sent of fear. When he first appeared behind her, he could smell her fear, but then when she turned around and saw him, it was gone. She was staring at him so hard; she didn't even notice him slap her until she started to faint. There was something different about this girl. Her clothes where even more out of place then the miko's that followed his half-breed brother. He looked down at the strange object in her hands. A sliver metallic thing, round in shape, with some kind of string coming out of its side.

`Strange weapon.'

Lord Sesshoumaru picked up both the girl and the weapon, and fled to the south.

He was here. Inuyasha knew it. He felt it and smelled his presence.

"But why won't he come out?" Inuyasha thought.

"Where is he?" Kagome asked.

Puzzled by this as well. Then his scent was gone. Inuyasha stiffened.

"That's weird. His scent is gone now."

Kagome nodded.

"I don't sense him anymore either. Maybe he was just passing by somewhere." She said, not wanting to stir up Inuyasha.

"What's going on?"

Miroku and the other two where on Kirara's back, approaching at full speed.

"We sensed Sesshoumaru, but he never showed himself."

Miroku nodded.

"Were is Ang?" Sango asked.

"She's over behind those bushes."

Inuyasha instantly sniffed the air. The strange aroma that new girl had was gone. He couldn't smell her. Kagome saw the look on Inuyasha's face.

"Oh no." She whispered.

She ran over to the bush and saw that her worst fear had actually happened.

"He took her! That son of a bitch!" Inuyasha yelled.

He sniffed the air around the bush and figured out that they had headed south, towards the Western Lands castle.

"He's taking her to his castle." He mused.

"We have to help her, we can't let her stay with him." Kagome said more to Inuyasha. He nodded and let her climb on his back.

"Sesshoumaru took Ang. Were going to get her back!" Inuyasha said to the group as he took off after Sesshoumaru's sent.

The heat felt good. It was intoxicating; the way it was wrapped around her made her forget everything. She was slowly becoming aware of everything around her. Someone was holding her; the strength in the arms that were around her was amazing. She felt like she was in a little piece of heaven. She sighed and snuggled closer. Then the events of the day came rushing back to her like a punch in the gut.

She snapped up and saw those same golden eyes starring at her. He had an eye brow raised and held no other expression on his face. She knew instantly who he was. She tried to jump from his arms, only to have them tighten around her.

"Sesshoumaru. Please let me go. What is it you want with me?"

He looked surprised, which in turn, surprised Ang. She knew that he never showed any emotions.

"How is it you know me?" He said sternly.

Ang looked around, that's when she knew why he wouldn't let her go.

"What? We're FLYING!" She yelled. Sesshoumaru nearly dropped her causing her to scream again.

"Shut up filthy HUMAN!" He yelled at her.

She was amazed by his voice. It was strong yet; there was the faintest hint of emotion behind it. She could tell that she had hurt his sensitive ears by the scream.

"Sorry about screaming. I was just shocked."

He didn't say anything, just continued on his course. He looked down at her again,

"How do you know me? I am sure we have never met." He said.

She gasped, wondering what she should tell him.

"I, uh, it's a little hard to explain."

She hoped he would leave it at that.

"Continue!" He demanded.

"Well, you see. The lady Kaede said that I time traveled here. I came back in time to this place for some reason. My destiny, she said. I don't know exactly why I am here, but it has to be for something good!" She stopped, wondering if he believed her.

He knew that she wasn't lying. There was no scent of fear, only the pleasant smell of wild fruits. Mainly Strawberries and Peaches. He silently cursed at himself for thinking about how she smelled.

"She is a pathetic human, though she does smell nice…"

He shook his head violently.

"SESSHOUMARU-SAMA! SESSHOUMARU-SAMA!"

Ang jumped when she heard a little girl's voice calling to her captor.

"That's what little Rin looks like." Ang whispered to herself.

"Indeed." Sesshoumaru said.

They landed in front of Rin and she squealed excitedly.

"Did Sesshoumaru-Sama bring Rin a new mother?"

She ran up to Ang and threw her arms around her legs. Sesshoumaru and Ang stood frozen in shock.

"Rin. Go and get Jaken. We are leaving." Sesshoumaru said to the girl.

She ran into the woods and disappeared from sight. Sesshoumaru released Ang's arm and walked over to the large dragon Youkai sitting by a small fire.

"Why have you captured me? I am of no value to you?" She questioned him.

"You will find out in time."

That being the only answer he was going to give her. She went and sat on the ground next to the large dragon and waited for them to do whatever they had to do. She knew that she was supposed to be scared. Fearing for her life, some kind of emotion other than peace. But it just wasn't there. She wasn't afraid of Sesshoumaru or that huge dragon thing right next to her.
