Earlier that day….

Sesshomaru Takahashi was on his way to high school. He was a junior in high school and was a full demon, unlike his brother. `Why did father make me go to school today,' he thought as he pulled up in the school parking lot. He parked his red Lamborghini in the front of the parking lot. `Well, here it goes,' he thought. He took a deep breath and walked through the front doors. He was wearing a light blue shirt with baggy blue jeans and white tennis shoes. `Not a bad looking school. Now where's the office?' He looked around and then he spotted something that really caught his eye. `Well what do you know….' he thought. There she was, a beautiful girl with long brown hair with an hour glass figure (or what he thought), with a blue t-shirt and a white mini skirt with white flip-flops. She turned around and saw him looking at her

`His he looking at me?' Rin thought as she started to look at him. Rin Tenseiga was also a junior, who was a favorite between most of the teachers. She really didn't think she was that beautiful, compared to all of the other girls in the school. She also never had a relationship that lasted more than a week, so she usually didn't go out on dates. Anyways, she was surprised to see a really handsome boy with golden eyes and white hair. `He's a demon,' she thought. `Oh well, never judge a book by its cover,' was her final thought as she started towards him.

`Let's see how far I can get with her,' he thought as she walked closer. `Well here it goes.' "Hello there, my name is Sesshomaru," he stated. "And what is your name?"

`He has such a deep voice,' she thought. "My name is uhhh…Rin," she answered. `Why am I stammering,' she thought.

"Well…Rin," Sesshomaru started, "I'm new here, and I'm looking for the office could you point me toward the office."

"Sure," she said, in her oh-so happy voice. "I'll even go with you, so after you get your schedule I show you around!"

`Maybe today won't be so bad,' he thought.

A couple of minutes later…..

"I can't believe we have all of our classes together!" Rin sang as they walked down the hallway to their first block class, which was Algebra II, but didn't start for another ten minutes. `I can't believe this tall, handsome guy is actually talking to me and hanging out with me!' she thought as she looked over her shoulder at Sesshomaru. `He's so cute!'

`I think this is going to be a good year for me,' Sesshomaru thought as he saw Rin look his way. `A very good year for me indeed.' "So are you doing anything after school today, Rin?" Sesshomaru asked hoping the answer was no.

"Let me think," Rin said. `I wonder why he's asking that question,' she thought. "Nope, nothing I can think of anything," Rin answered. "Why are you asking?"

"Well you see I was thinking we could go out and you could show me the town, since I'm new here and everything," Sesshomaru stated. `When was the last time I asked a girl out,' he thought, waiting for an answer to his question.

`He jus…he just asked me out?!!!!' she thought. `I can't believe it! I just met him, what a couple of minutes ago? Well he is new here, and he is cute…what the hell I'll go out with him.' "Alright, we could go out tonight!" she answered with a huge smile on her face.

`She said yes!' Sesshomaru thought. "Alright, we'll talk after last period," he said. "Is that alright with you?"

"Sounds good to me!" Rin said. `This my first date of the year! I can't wait!' she thought. All of the sudden, the bell rang for first period. "Well, let's get to class, before we get detention," she said as she grabbed his hand and walked into the class. Sesshomaru looked at their linked hands.

`This is going to be a great year,' he repeated in his head, as they entered the classroom, with a smirk on his face.

Inuyasha is walking home from his first day of school, when he notices something, Kagome lives right next door to him! "What the hell?" he whispers as he walks into his house, not without looking toward Kagome's house one more time.
