"Well, here we are, Science Class," Kagome said as she turned around to speak to Inuyasha, who was checking her out. `His he doing what I think he's doing' she thought.

`Man, she is one good looking girl,' Inuyasha thought, who didn't notice Kagome speaking to him. Finally, Kagome decided to get his attention.

"You hentai!" Kagome screamed, as she slapped him out of lalala land. `Typical, he acts just like Miroku,' she thought.

"What you do that for, wench?!" Inuyasha screamed, while rubbing his sore cheek. `Well what do you know, she is a strong wench,' he thought while staring at Kagome.

"For one thing, my name is Kagome," she started, "second, you were totally checking me out! Did you even hear what I said just a couple of minutes ago?"

"Yeah, it was about…" Inuyasha started. "It was about…." `What was she saying just a minute ago, while I was checking her out?' he thought. "Okay, so I forgot, so sue me!" he yelled.

"I said, that we are here for Science Class," Kagome said. "If you're not going to pay attention to me, then good luck finding your way around school," with that said she walked into the class room.

`Great,' Inuyasha thought. `First, I meet her, think she is the most beautiful girl in the world, and want to be her friend, now I blow up in her face, just because I checked her out.' He walked into the Science Classroom, and spotted Kagome sitting next to a taller girl. Everyone stared at him as he entered the room. `Guess they have never seen a half-demon before,' he thought.

"Ahh, you must be our new student," Mr. Myoga said. "What's your name?"

"My name is Inuyasha Takahashi," Inuyasha announced as most of the girls fawned over his ears.

"Well, you can sit by….Miroku," Mr. Myoga said. "Now Miroku raise your hand and everybody turn to page 105 in your text book." Miroku raised his hand and Inuyasha went to sit next to him.

"Nice to meet you, Inuyasha, as you know I'm Miroku," Miroku said as he held out his hand for a hand shake.

"Yeah, nice to meet you to Miroku," Inuyasha said while he shook Miroku's hand.

"Alright, class," Mr. Myoga said, "it's time for science projects!" The class groaned and moaned. "I know, I know, but this time you're going to have partner, so be quiet, so I can pick groups."

"I hope I get Sango," Miroku said, looking toward where Sango was sitting.

"Who's Sango?" Inuyasha asked.

"She's sitting over there," he answered, "the most beautiful girl in the world." Inuyasha looked in the direction and saw Sango, who was sitting right next to Kagome! `So that's who she's sitting by,' he thought. `Looks like Miroku likes Sango, while I like Kagome…wait…did I just say I like her I just met her!'

"Alright, the groups are…" Mr. Myoga started. "Kikyo and Naraku, Kouga and Ayame, Eri and Taylor, Miroku and Sango (guess who's happy?), Yuka and Eric, and Kagome and Inuyasha. Now everybody get in your groups and start brainstorming your ideas for science project, it is due in three weeks."

`Great now I'm stuck with the pervert,' Sango thought as she made her way to Miroku.

`Yes!!!! The gods are shining above me,' Miroku thought, doing a victory dance in his head.

`I can't wait to be with Naraky-poo,' Kikyo thought as she finished putting on her make-up.

`What! I'm stuck with that stuck-up, rude, cute…whoa were did cute come from?' Kagome thought. `Anyways, why him? Why me?'

`Maybe I can apologize to her when we are working on our project,' Inuyasha thought. `Well, let's get started,' was his final thought as he walked over to Kagome.
