"Ouch!" Kagome screamed as she ran into the hard object, and hit the ground with a thump. `What did I hit?' she thought as she looked up.

"What the hell?!" Inuyasha yelled as he ran into something….soft?! `What the…' he thought as he looked up.

They both looked up, and their eyes met.

`Who is this guy?' Kagome thought as she stared up into his eyes. `But I do know one thing, he is so cute! Especially with those kawaii ears!' she thought.

`Who's this chick?' Inuyasha thought as looked at her with his golden orbs. `But she really is something to look at,' he thought. He decided to break the silence. "Hey! Watch where you're going, wench!" he yelled. `That will make her bump into me,' he thought.

"What…" Kagome said. "I don't know what you're talking about. You bumped into me!" she said. `What's his problem?' she thought. `I think I'll try another approach.' "Never mind, so are you new here? I've never seen you here before," she asked.

`Okay, first she's yelling at me, now she's acting like nothing happened,' he thought. `Oh well, I guess I'll go along with it.' "Yeah, I'm new here, got a problem with it?" Inuyasha asked loudly.

"No, I just wanted to know so I could maybe help you find your classes," she answered a little softly. "Unless, you don't need help…." she said as she turned around getting ready to walk away.

`Oh great, what is she going to do cry?' he thought. "Wait…." he started. "I could use your help…"

"Alright, let me see your schedule," she said, and gave him one of her famous smiles.

`Man, she's pretty when she smiles,' he thought. "So…what's your name?" he asked, out of curiosity.

"Ohh…I forgot to introduce myself, names Kagome," she said as she held out her hand. "What's your name?"

"Inuyasha," he replied, and took her hand. When they shook each other's hand, it felt like little sparks going through their bodies. They held hands more for what a hand shake was worth, then let go of each others hand.

"Ummm… "Kagome said, still a little stunned from the hand shake. "Looks like we have all the same classes together, so let's get going, follow me," she said as she started walking away.

`This is going to be a great year,' he thought as he followed Kagome, down the hallway, watching her behind as she walked.
