Chapter Three: Untitled-ness.
Disclaimer: -Sigh.- I own nothing. I go now to sob and wail and lament my horrible, horrible fate.
A/N: Thanks to all my reviewers, I love you guys! ^___^ And yes, I know that they're all a bit OOC, but eh. It works, right? -sheepish grin-
Third period finally ended, and Miroku found himself walking alone down the hallway, bound for Calculus, the only class he had with Kagome. Ah, Kagome...his beautiful muse, his Helen, his light, his love....
Okay. He was beginning to scare himself. He really had to stop this.
A warm, wet tongue trailed a path along his neck and he shuddered. "Ka-Sango?! What the fuck!"
The girl in question smiled innocently and pulled a "Lick Me" sign off of his back. Miroku groaned, which was probably not the best thing to do given the current circumstances.
He had to get his mind off Kagome and get this girl away from him, at least for a little while. So he did the only thing he could.
One slender, yet masculine hand crept down to Sango's bottom.
Noises from a bystander's perspective: Pat...pat pat pat stroke...Bam.
"Hentai!" A very pissed off looking Sango stormed off toward her fourth hour class. Miroku sighed in relief. God loved him today. He reached up and gently stroked the red spot on his cheek, and although it stung like all hell, he'd never been happier about being slapped. Whistling cheerily to himself, Miroku continued on to his class.

Kagome sighed, tapping the nails of one slender, French manicured hand on the desk while twirling her hair with the other. Calculus was so awful. It really was too bad that the person who'd invented it was dead now. She'd have dearly loved to maim, torture, or kill that person, not necessarily in that order.
She did the only thing a girl in her position could do. She spaced out and began thinking about a certain boy. Ah, how she would love to have him beside her right now, doing things she'd never done, only dreamt of...
Was he a screamer, or a moaner? She giggled softly at herself and promptly decided that she'd been around Miroku far too often lately.
Ah, Miroku! An interesting prospect. He was a little strange, yes, and not as popular as her current boyfriend, Inuyasha, but still. He was complete...and total...eye candy! She resisted the urge to squeal and clap her hands together. She could see them together now...and what a beautiful sight it was.
Entwined on her lovely pink satin sheets, staring up at her ceiling, still breathing heavily in the aftermath of their passion...He would kiss her once, gently, and tell her how much he loved her as she stared up into those beautiful blue eyes...
Wait. She wasn't supposed to be thinking those things...she was a good girl. Pure, pristine, chaste, whatever. Sure, she'd gossiped about sex, read the occasional bodice ripper, but hell. She was still a complete virgin. Inuyasha had asked her to sleep with him several times, but each time she found herself saying...no. He'd said that he understood, of course, but still. She couldn't help but feel guilty.
What was she so afraid of? The pain? The loss of her innocence? Or was it something more than that? Was she afraid that she'd be screaming the wrong name...?
It was a frightening, ghastly thought, and a small movie of the horrific event played itself out in her mind. And yet...it was true.
Still, he probably didn't feel the same about her. Nah. He had Sango. Sango adored him. Well, more than that. Her affection for him was bordering on obsession currently, her insanity meter ticking up higher and higher with each passing second.
A brilliant plan began to form in her mind. Evil. Prom was coming up. She could do a little research to get more insight into the mind of Miroku Houshi, find out whether or not he "liked" her, as middle-school-esque as that sounded, and if he did, great...if not, she could stay with Inuyasha. Perfect!
Flipping to a blank page in her notebook, she began to make a list of observations. Starting with number one...he was staring straight at her.
She grinned.
Things were looking up.
