InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ No Comment ❯ Chapter Four ( Chapter 4 )
Chapter 4: Yeah yeah. Untitled. I suck at making titles, hence the name of the story.
A/N: Katgome-Don't worry. The Sess/Naraku thing kinda squicked me at first, too, but I figured it had to be done (since Rin is only about nine in this story). And since they're not really the major characters in here, you won't be seeing any lemons featuring them. Your eyes are safe.
Obese_a_tron500- Glad you liked it! I try...at first, I was afraid that no one would like this story since the plot is rather cliche, but it seems to be working out.
I'll try to update more frequently so y'all don't have spasm-y things. ^_^; Oh, and special thanks to that Perverted Inuyasha thingeh for the idea that's coming...either late this chapter or early next. Love ya! Oh, and if you really like the Miroku/Kagome pairing, I'd highly recommend joining the MonkandMiko Yahoo!(or Yahell, whatever) group. It's awesome. There's fics, a Round Robin going on right now, fanart...you name it, they've got it. The Round Robin's called Bedridden and my penname for it is Juju if you're interested. *sheepish look* I like reviews? Hehe.
To be perfectly vulgar, Miroku nearly 'Shit a brick' (as Inuyasha himself was fond of saying) when he noticed that Kagome was returning his intense, rather creepy (in any other situation, of course) gaze. What could she possibly be thinking? Naughty, naughty things if the faint blush on her otherwise unblemished cheeks was any indication. About him? God, he hoped so.
It wasn't just that he wanted to get her in bed, although, okay...that was all he'd wanted from her at first. But he truly loved her, as ridiculous as that sounded coming from his own mind. It was then that he realized that he knew very little about her. Damn. That was something he'd have to work out.
She smiled and winked saucily at him, making the come-hither motion with her dainty little index finger.
He nearly fainted.

Now, Kagome wasn't a girl who normally cheated on her boyfriends...it just wasn't in her nature. But in that moment, hanging off his chair and looking like a deer in the headlights of an oncoming truck, Miroku looked...absolutely delicious. Her prayers were answered when he responded to her little gesture and began to walk over to her desk.
Wordlessly, she whipped a pen and scrap of paper out of her baby blue purse, Prada, of course (what did you expect?), and wrote down her digits on it. He took it and raised a brow, staring at it.
"It's...um...for you. Call me sometime. 'Cause, you know..." -Here she giggled girlishly, then sighed, drawing him closer to her- "I kinda like you...and if you could come to my house around six tomorrow night, that'd be great!" She smiled perkily at him and grabbed her things, smacking his ass on the way out just as the dismissal bell rang. "Ciao!"
Miroku was certain that he'd died and gone to heaven. Why did she want him at her house? Did she want to...? With him? What if Inuyasha found out? This thought had an effect similar to a cold shower on him, and he instantly recoiled. He'd have to wait and see.

Kagome strode confidently out into the school parking lot. Thank god for block scheduling. She was out of that hell hole, and tomorrow was Friday. Tomorrow was...Miroku. She smiled to herself. She didn't plan on screwing him, oh god no, not yet. It would be completely wrong. She, Kagome Higurashi, was a number of things, but a tramp was not one of them.
Two strong, masculine arms wrapped themselves around her waist as she reached out to unlock her car. A firm pair of lips nuzzled the juncture of her neck and shoulder, hot breath teasing the sensitive skin behind her ear. "Hey, babe..."
"Inuyasha! Oh, hey sweetie, you surprised me. How are ya?" She pulled back and spun around, looking up into simmering golden eyes. Her stomach dropped as she began to realize what he wanted.
"Oh, Yash...I can't. I'm sorry, I just want to wait a while longer..."
"A while longer? We've been dating for nearly a year, Kagome! Do you know what this does to me?"
A frightened whimper threatened to push past her lips, but she somehow managed to stop it from betraying her.
"I'm sorry...really, I am. Once school gets out, maybe."
Inuyasha sighed and dragged a hand through his silver locks, nodding curtly to her. "Ah, alright. Well, I gotta go. Father needs me to work tonight...are we still on for the movie tomorrow?"
Shit! How had she forgotten their date? She made up a quick lie.
"Um, no, actually. Mom needs me to babysit Souta...and you know how she gets when I have people over and she's not home."
He nodded again and sighed some more before blowing her a kiss. "Alright, then. Love you." And without another word, he was off.
Saved! For today, at least. Now...about Miroku...
She got into her car and went home to plot.
End.
A/N: God, don't you feel so bad for Inuyasha right now? I do.
