InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Not an ordinary slave ❯ Trying to adjust ( Chapter 3 )

*God what am I going to do here? He only comes in and out and never says anything to me. I have done no work nor had to do ANY of his bidding. It's been 3 weeks. I am going to go stir crazy if I don't do something…ANYTHING!* Aurora thought to herself. She couldn't help it anymore. She needed to at least walk around. It was late at night and Inuyasha hadn't come back. Maybe she could get away with walking around. She was careful as to not make the door creak as she opened it. She kept of her sandals so she could tip-toe around without making a sound. She was actually good at this. One trait her mother hated her for. She could always come in late at night and her mother would never know. She had walked around for a little while. It was good to stretch her legs. She had done positioning stretching in the room but nothing compared to getting out of there. After about 20 minutes she heard what sound like a fight. She could hear swords clanging together and grunts of two men. She saw a light at around the end of the hall. She quietly walked up and peaked in the small crack. Sesshomaru looked to be practicing with about 5 other male slaves. Aurora had never really seen Sesshomaru do anything but give stern looks and yell at Inuyasha. Now he was standing there panting, sweaty, and just in a pair of light blue pants. All of a sudden he stood up straight and took a deep breath. He could smell her.

*OH SHIT* She began to run as light footed as she could.

It didn't take long before she was pinned to the ground and a sword to her throat.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE BITCH!?" He yelled in her ear.

"I needed to get out of that room. I'm sorry my lord." She barely gasped out.

"You understand I could kill you for this right? RIGHT?!"

"Yes my lord."

"Get up!" He commanded.

Aurora raised to her feet staring at her feet.

"Look at me when I talk to you. Did you find what you saw interesting?" He asked panting from the anger and the workout from earlier.

She didn't know how to answer. He could be tricking her into saying something wrong.

"Yes Lord Sesshomaru." She hoped she was right to say that.

"Where is your mate?" He asked slyly.

"I don't know and sorry my lord, but he is not my mate." She said not blinking.

"Excuse me?" He asked.

"He has not asked anything of me my lord. That is why I needed to get out of the room. I am going insane. He has not asked me to clean, get him anything, do anything for him. I don't know what to do." She pleaded.

"Maybe you are not as appealing to him as I thought you would be." He poked fun at her but she didn't get it.

"EXCUSE ME!" She was pissed. "What's wrong with me!?"

"Maybe you can't keep him on his toes. You don't know how to take care of him. Keep him thinking." He was trying to get fire out of her.

"What do I have to do, kick his ass?" She joked, but maybe she was right.

"Do you even know how?" Sesshomaru had her right where he wanted her.

"Of course…well…kind of…some basics." She started out strong but got no where.

"Just as I thought. Come with me."

She followed him back down to the room where he was training.

"Okay, guess we'll just have to show how much fire you really have if you have any."

"Oh you will pay for that." She warned. "Where do we start?"

"Basics, punches, kicks. Can you handle it all at once?" His tone never changed. Maybe he was serious.

"Let's go."

Sesshomaru didn't go easy on her. In about 20 minutes she was out of breath and hurting. She had yet to hit him once but he had just about beat her down to her last ounce of strength. She was determined to hit him atleast once.

"Done already?" He looked at her. He had barely broken a sweat though his chest was rising up and down slightly faster than before.

"No…keep going." She was out of breath, hurt, but unwavering.

He came at her with combinations moves, they kept fighting for another 2 hours and she had yet to hit him. She finally got a second wind and went at him with all she had. He had blocked the moves and swiped her to the floor. She landed hard on her back and her head.

"Oooowwww." She groaned.

"You have no time to whine. Get up." He nudged her with his foot.

"I can't see straight." She got frightened.

"You are fine. Get up!" He nudged her harder.

"Sess…Sesshomaru…i…i…"She couldn't get it out. She was loosing her breath.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Inuyasha stormed into the room. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER? Slave? SLAVE?!"

"Inu…yasha," Her head went blank, she couldn't hear or think…then she blacked out.
