"Aurora, can you hear me? Aurora, wake up. Open your eyes." She heard a voice but her eyes would yet to open.

"Oh she is waking up. Aurora can you open your eyes for me please?

She finally began to open her eyes. She could see an old woman above her.

"There she is. You gave us quite a scare doll. Here makes sure she drinks this and gets plenty of rest. She should be up and going again around a week. She shouldn't do anything strenuous until then. If she gets dizzy lie her down and give her this root to chew on. Make sure she is always comfortable or it could back fire on her." The old woman patted Aurora's hand and walked out the door.

Aurora sat up slowly but was having some struggle. He muscles felt weak and her head was pounding. She felt a hand on her back help push her up. She turned her head to reveal Inuyasha staring at her.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I think so."

"Good, now you can tell me WHY WERE YOU FIGHTING WITH SESSHOMARU!" He yelled not being able to withhold his anger.

"I was trying to get an emotion out of YOU! I have not done ANYTHING since I got here! I feel useless. You barely look at me. YOU NEVER TALK TO ME! OW! Oh no…" Her head began to spin and she could feel her body get weak. She laid back down slowly.

"What is going on in here? I heard yelling." Sesshomaru came in with a slave behind him carrying hot water for the tea.

"Why were you teaching her to fight?" Inuyasha groweled.

"She was doing it for you. This is not the time or the place. It is late and she needs to sleep."

"She slept all day."

"No she was unconscious all day. She needs to rest her mind. She will have to sleep in your bed with you until we can get a more comfortable setting."

"Uh uh, no way. She can't sleep with me!" Inuyasha bellowed.

"Well she isn't sleeping with me, she is yours. Suck it up brother."Sesshomaru left his brother to his "mate"

"Inuyasha, I can sleep on the floor." She went to get up but he held her down.

"Don't worry about it. Lie there. Go to sleep."

It only took a few minutes for Aurora to fall asleep, but Inuyasha stayed up. He thought about what he was to do with her. He was a loner. There was no way he needed a mate. He had been fine all these years. She was trying to impress him though. No she wasn't. She was probably trying to find a way out and Sess beat the shit out of her. Maybe she should learn how to protect herself. Inuyasha did have many enemies. It really wasn't a wonder…he was so rude and pig-headed. He would just have to deal with her when she was better.

Inuyasha never really had the intent to talk to her. He left things alone like he always did. It didn't matter anymore. Aurora had been passed out for a couple days and when she was awake she couldn't talk to much because it made her worn out and dizzy. It was over two weeks before she was back to normal.

"About time you got out of bed. Come on we have to go outside. Doctor's orders! Feh!" Inuyasha said sarcastically.

"Can I shower?"

"There is a spring out there you can take a swim in."

"Oh then I am going to need a…"

"WOULD YOU JUST COME ON!" He yelled.

Aurora got up obediently and followed Inuyasha out into the bright sun. As they walked out the sun felt so warm. Inuyasha took in a deep breath through his nose smelling everything with his keen senses. There was one thing he didn't expect to smell…
