Well here goes and since I'm still not sure where this story is going or how it's going to get there, I'm really just winging it!

Not Titled 2
Chapter six:
Kagome lay in her giant bed, bored to death, so bored she counted stitches on her quilt twice. She didn't see why that stubborn ass, that she loved so much made her stay in here and rest. She wasn't the least bit tired, actually quite refreshed, even with the bad taste in her mouth, that seemed to get worse second by second, that she was trying so hard to forget. “Where did that headstrong ass go anyway?” She asked herself for the tenth time.
~~~
Sesshomaru walked back through the way he came, walking back into the palace, he needed to speak with her. He didn't know what to do, but he didn't want to tell her either. He needed to think, but with this new terrifying news, he could barely walk in a straight line. He had never been this scared in his life, he never had anything to ever be scared over. She was the first thing that ever meant anything to him, even his own life, didn't mean a thing to him, just something he continued to go on with. “I can't tell her, but I need her help, what do I do?” He was clueless the first time in his life he was clueless. He needed time to think... but didn't have any, he needed to make a decision now. Should he take Hades decision? Was hades even telling the truth? What was his mother up to? Why does she always determined to do what she thinks right no matter how much it fucks up his life? He didn't have time for this. He couldn't possibly take Hades offer, even the mortals knew he was a smart ass swindler. Would he swindle the son of a goddess? Of course he would, he's swindled Zeus king of the gods, and his own brother, his own flesh and blood.
~~~
The taste in her mouth was getting worse, now creeping down her throat, like she swallowed acid, and was feeling it slowly scorch and burn it's way down her throat. She tried drinking water, but it wouldn't stop, she was starting to get worried, and wouldn't talk, was almost in tears it scorched so bad. But she wouldn't call on anybody, determined not to worry anyone worse than they already were. Sesshomaru seemed like he was about to shit a brick earlier, well if it could get past the pole shoved up his tight ass. She giggled lightly at this thought, envisioning Sesshomaru waddling with a thin metal pole protruding from his cute behind. She was interrupted in her fits and giggles by a coughing fit, that seemed to shake her down to her very core, and wouldn't stop not being able to clear her airway. She brought her hands to cover her mouth sitting up in her bed and leaning her head over still coughing, it seemed like it would never end. Finally after many minutes of coughing it calmed to a hiccup, and as she took her hands away from her mouth and wiped their wet surface on her white sheets, she was shocked to see them smeared red. Bringing her hands up to her eyes, again just as shocked to see them also tainted red, then wiped the wetness around her mouth bringing her hands away to see again fresh blood. I coughed up blood. Now frantic, and scared she shoved her covers back and sprang from her bed, and ran towards the heavy wooden oak double doors throwing them open and racing down the hall to find the only one who ever really made anything right.
~~~
Sesshomaru walking down the hallway, head high as usual, but deep in thought, was shaken from them, hearing his name being desperately shrieked.
~~~
“SESSHOMARU! SESS!” Kagome ran down the hall as fast as her sore, sick legs would carry her, desperate to find the man she loved. She almost fell to the ground having to stumble not being able to see where she was going as another coughing fit came on, now not bothering to cover her mouth as she jogged past people coughing spits of blood on the walls, floors, and clothes of those she past.
~~~
Sesshomaru took off towards where he heard Kagome screaming frantically for him, not thinking twice about who he knocked into, or made fall, all he knew is that he had to get to her. Twisting around a turn he saw her stumbling and running towards him, head down as she leaned part of her body weight along the wall, as she coughed. `What has gotten her to panicked? What is that one her clothes? BLOOD?! But whose?' Sesshomaru looked up into her half cover by her own hair face, to find blood running down her chin and around the corners of her mouth.
“No...” He whispered out loud, now knowing his mother's curse was true, she was trying to kill the only thing he ever loved, and was succeeding. “Kagome...” He whispered loud enough for her to hear halfway down the hallway, as she looked up to see him there and tried to stumble faster to him. Sesshomaru just realizing her stopped started jogging towards her as she wavered on her own feet and her eye lids seemed to become heavy.
“Sess...” She whispered her pet name for him with a quivering smile as she stopped, and started to fall forwards as her eyes closed.
It all seemed in slow motion to him, he ran fast seeing her falling, a foot per second, but she was in slow motion and so was he, barely able to get there fast enough to catch her around the waist and pulled her up her slanted against him. He tried shaking her as more and more blood slowly started to dribble down her chin and onto his pristine white haori. “Kagome! KAGOME! Answer me damn it! Wake Up!” He gently swooped his other arm under her legs and picking her up `bridal style.' Running her back to her room, barking, in the farthest from friendly way at a servant to get the monk and the doctor and bring them to Queen Kagome's room immediately.
Sesshomaru kicked the already partially open double doors open wider and laid her on her bed pulling the blankets over her, his hand hitting the still damp spot where she must have wiped her hand.
“Where is she?” Miroku panted as he rushed in the doctor on his heels.
~~~
Miroku ran to his queen's at her bed, taken in her pale, and bloodied mouth appearance and then looked back at the not so cool Sesshomaru, begging with his eyes a reason to all of this. Turning to face the furious demon full on as the doctor rushed past him to get to his `patient'. Sesshomaru didn't even spare a glance at him, looking past him to what the doctor was doing and the queen. Miroku took in his slightly messed hair, concerned and angered eyes, and his wrinkled haori, that had a rather large blood splotch on his right should, where Queen Kagome's head must have been resting as he rushed her back to her bed. Then turned back to the doctor, who yelled over his shoulder at them to get out and stay out, so not to be in the way. Sesshomaru growled deep in his throat at this, when the doctor said he could take better care of her when he wasn't having holes glared through his back, Sesshomaru followed him out of the double doors, to wait it out in the hall.
Soon after Souta and Ezmeralda came running down the hall, queen's nephew on her hip. They both started talking gibberish or at least that is what it sounded at the same time, both look of deep worry on their faces. But when hearing Sesshomaru growl from behind them they both instantly shut their mouths and didn't speak another peep. `Sometimes I wish I could do that.'
~~~
Suddenly Souta was aware Sesshomaru was there, he wondered how he could miss such a large attention and respect demanding figure, but when he heard that baritone rumble, he instantly shut up. He would admit, if only to himself, he was scared shitless of Sesshomaru. He was easily half a foot taller, a whole foot taller than Kagome. Stoic, never showing emotion, and his eyes always seemed to be glaring daggers at him, the grace that he moved with, elegance he was probably born with, yet every move he made could easily make the one you just did your last. Souta had seen him fight his brother, and kill him with ease. He didn't even break a sweat, nor did his even breaths ever were disrupted. He there was absolutely no regret, anger, revenge, nothing in his eyes or features as he latched his brother's body behind his carriage and none as he drove off dragging his brother's body, complete emotionless. Perfect for a warlord as himself, maybe that is why he was the greatest warrior the world had ever and ever would seen, maybe that is why he still lived after so many battles and wars. He was heartless, soulless in a sense. And it terrified Souta, to his very core, Helen didn't even like to hear his name let alone be in his presence, she said it made her have cold shivers up her spine and just thinking of his gave her a cold sweat.
But Sesshomaru was so much different around Kagome. He showed emotion, love, caring, concern, playfulness, feelings. It was like he was two different people all together, one full of love and compassion around Kagome, and one of nothing the rest of the time. She was almost the same way, him and Helen knew they started that war. That killed so many, and hurt many more, and they were sorry, but not for their love. Kagome even once said thank you to Helen.
“Thank you for being such a whore, and for making my brother one too... without you two this war would have never started, killing thousands and hurting more, but without this war, I wouldn't have met my true love. So I thank you, and my brother, thank you.”
It wasn't such a nice way to put it, but it was still a thank you. She had changed greatly from the war, no longer arguing over minuscule things, no more dumb pranks, now she was a queen, former temple priestess, she was now always so serious, except when the job called for other wise. Unless around Sesshomaru, both so serious apart, but together so carefree and loving, playful, like he and Kagome used to be when the were little running around the castle causing mischief. Sesshomaru was her only friend and ally now, other than the kingdom, he knew she loved him deep down, but there was love and right there next to it was just as much hate for him and Helen, she still doesn't even like Helen. Bringing Sesshomaru to hate both him and her, whatever made her unhappy, totally pissed him off, he probably would have killed both of them by now if they weren't family to her, and she wouldn't tolerate killing over her.
~~~
The Door burst open startling all of them, but Sesshomaru as the doctor wiped the sweat from his brow, and looked grief. He motioned to follow, but when they all stepped toward, Sesshomaru growled as the doctor yelled at the rest of them.
“None of ye business, keep to yourselfs, this only concerns him.” The doctor said jutting his thumb towards Sesshomaru, Souta looked like he wanted to say something, but when Sesshomaru growled again and glared directly at him he wimped out, with his tail between his legs.
~~~
Sesshomaru stepped into her room glancing over at his beloved, as he heard the doctor shut the doors after him. The Doctor stepped in front of his view, Sesshomaru having to crane his neck to look down at the very stout, short, old man.
“I don't know what is wrong with her, she doesn't have a fever, and yet she sweats, she coughed so much blood is now flowing up her windpipe, which I gave her something that should help stop that and the coughing, but I cannot get her to wake and don't know if she even can or ever will, this illness is very serious, yet have never heard or seen it before. I'm sorry, but if her body doesn't start fighting back she will surely die, slow and painfully, as with the baby. I am sorry, but I can do no more than pray, which I will.” The stout man reached behind him grabbing his bag of medicines and things before leaving the room closing the door behind him. Sesshomaru slowly made his way over to Kagome's bed side, kneeling on his knees to be closer to her, grasping one of her hands and cupping it around his cheek, like she always did, as he laid his head on the bed, and tears started slowly to seep out of his eyes and silently very few at a time down his face running along her hand her held there as she peered at her through his tears, tears he hadn't shed since he was a toddler, not even when his father and Inuyasha died, he vowed never to shed them, but he and Kagome always seemed to break their vows, that one and the one he made to always protect, to die for her. He kneeled there, silently crying for his dying love and pup he didn't even know existed in any form until this moment, bried for her unknowing, as he was overwhelmed with grief and drifted off to sleep, hopefully to meet his beloved there.
