Letting out a tired sigh the raven haired teen stood up from her seated position beside her bed. She gave up. There was no way she would finish that report in two hours. She already stayed up through most of the night until 4 o'clock in the morning. Her mother wouldn't be proud. She hated being a procrastinator. Damn. I only got two more hours until I have to get up for school. She knew she should have started earlier, but no, instead she'd rather stay up and read books through the whole week.

Of course it wasn't like her to completely forget about her school duties. But, this book she's been currently reading was incredibly difficult to put down. It was a story about a girl falling through a well and meeting some kind of demon on the other side. It was interesting because not many publishers allowed such books since they believed humans and demons should remain separate. She sighed once more. Maybe she should spend less time on pleasure and more time on studying. After all, it was her senior year. There were no exceptions.

Walking over to her window, she opened it letting the cool air breeze through her room. The night air was cool and crisp. After that storm a few nights ago, it left behind a fresh smell to the air. Not like the smell of gas and pollution like she was used to. No…tonight was different. She could feel it in her very soul. Something was watching her but she was oblivious.

Walking to her bathroom she didn't even bother turning on the lights, already accustomed to the darkness of her bedroom. She was so tired but strangely alert. So instead of going to bed for the two remaining hours she had, she decided to take a warm bath. It always helped soothe her nerves especially when she knew she was in for it when the sun rose.

Leaning back in the tub for the first time that night she felt totally relaxed…until she heard a quiet thump in her bedroom. It was barely inaudible. If she hadn't been concentrating so much on her surroundings, she was sure she would've missed it. Standing from her current position she quickly wrapped a towel around her and soundlessly, as she could for a human, made her way back to her bedroom.

Opening the door that separated the bathroom and her room she peaked inside, and noticed that nothing seemed a miss. Was I hearing things? She highly doubted that. She edged into her room silently. As she turned to scan her room once more, her breath caught in her throat.

There in front of her stood an odd looking man. She could barely make out his features but could tell he was a sight for sore eyes. His body shape was different than most men she had seen. Not as muscular but not as scrawny either. In fact, he was very well toned from his biceps all the way down to his calves. He wore a beanie over his head, an undershirt, jeans with holes where the knees were, and a pair of vans shoes. All black. But what really caught her attention was his hair. It was the most beautiful silvery white she had ever seen; that she was sure would make the moon jealous, tied back in a low ponytail. His eyes were a different story. It was a brilliant shade of gold that she never knew existed. Well in eye color at least. She always thought she had a weird eye color, especially for a Japanese/ Caucasian girl. Both her parents had brown eyes but yet she inherited a brilliant blue, which was very strange. Anyway, back to the situation. What is he doing in my house? Let alone MY room?

Damn it! Where is it? I have to get to it before… he heard the door behind him open and he nervously looked around for a place to hide. Finally finding a dark corner he leapt into it before the intruder could see him. His breath hitched when he realized who the intruder was. He looked at her taking in her form. Despite the darkness of the room, his heightened eyesight could see everything. Heh. I guess being part demon has its perks. She was donned in only a towel, much to his delight. He gazed up her amazing legs to her shapely figure wrapped tightly in her towel to her breathtaking face. Her hair was still wet from the previous bath she was taking and he noted the confusion in her eyes. So the wench has good ears after all. He didn't expect her to hear his entrance he had been so quiet except for that thump, THAT he was sure no normal human ears would be able to hear but still… she heard him.

While she was busy gazing everywhere but the corner he was hidden in, he figured now would be the best time to run. After all he was close to the window he just entered in. Keh. Stupid woman, doesn't she know that leaving a window open in the middle of the goddamn night is not a good thing. She's lucky it was me instead of some bastard. Heh, made my job easier though. Despite his musings he needed to get out of there.

Making a dash for the window he stopped dead in his tracks when he heard her gasp. Shit. He turned noting how the moon shined brilliantly on her cream colored skin and how her blue eyes shone brightly. Blue eyes? Now that's interesting. He had never seen that color on a Japanese girl before.

Her eyes said everything. It was strange how many emotions he saw in those eyes. First surprise and fear, then it quickly turned to curiosity and anger. What the hell? Then all of a sudden the silence was broken by her soft whisper.

“What are you doing in my house, let alone MY bedroom?” clearly voicing her earlier thoughts. She shocked him, she noticed. Obviously he hadn't expected her to speak. One of her eyebrows cocked upward, waiting for his answer.

After a few moments he smirked, “Well that's none of your concern.” His cocky tone made her more irritated than she already was. Looking impatient she answered, “If I'm not mistaken this is MY room. It is clearly my concern if you're in it supposedly searching for something.”

His smirk fell and he regained his composure. “How the hell do you know I was searching for something?” He didn't like the look she gave him. Her glare was unwavering when she stated, “If you don't get out of my room in 10 seconds I will call the police.”

Quicker than she could blink she felt herself being pinned to the wall. One of his hands clasped around her neck, not enough to choke her but enough to know he meant business, while the other pinned her hands above her head. Saying that she was shocked was an understatement. Clearly he picked a rather inconvenient time to press so intimately against her. She was only in a towel after all.

A small growl interrupted her thoughts and she was thrown back to reality. He finally spoke, his voice a husky whisper “You do that and I'll be forced to take drastic measures.” She looked at him, eyes wide, “I…I'll scream if you don't release me.”

Looking at her, he noticed the hesitation in her voice. Smirking he leaned up to her and his warm breath engulfed her. “You wouldn't dare.” Dared her did he? She opened her mouth ready to scream when she felt her voice swallowed by his mouth.

Oh my…She couldn't help the small moan that escaped her when his tongue lavished the insides of her mouth. She could practically feel him smirk, knowing how she melted from the kiss. But all rational thoughts crashed back to her, full force, when she felt the warmth leave her body.

What the…? But as she looked around all that accompanied her was the silence, and now emptiness of her bedroom. She looked back toward her window and noticed it was still open. Walking over to it, she chanced a quick peek out her window before shutting and locking it.

Unbeknownst to her a pair of glowing golden eyes watched her from a nearby tree top. Turning swiftly he bounded his way back to the headquarters hopefully before the sun rose. After all, he did have school tomorrow.
