When Kagura told Naraku the news of what had happened between Inuyasha and Kikyou it seem to lift his spirits, and he even went so far as to laugh about the tale. He was no longer worried about Kagome slipping threw his fingers, she had no Inuyasha to run back to so he had nothing worry about. But he still wanted her found soon and Kagura was afraid for her life because she knew Kagome was going home and what would Naraku do if he never got her back? Why blame her of course.

Inuyasha woke up with one hell of a headache. Sango was still resting with Shippou and Kirara curled up next to her, the only person up was Miroku fixing breakfast.

"You're up I see."

"Yeah keep it down my head's killing me."

"I'll look in Kagome's bag for some pain medicine."

"Thanks"

"So Inuyasha what are we going to do now?"

"I don't know, Kikyou was the only one who knew the way to Naraku's castle."

"Yes, it seems we're lost."

"How's Sango?"

"Resting but fine."

"I can't believe Kikyou, how could she just do what she did yesterday?"

"She is too full of hate and jealousy."

"Forget her, we need to find Kagome, we'll rest here for another day but then we really need to get moving."

"Good"

Naraku had called Kanna and asked her to show him Kagome in her mirror, but they were both surprised to see that it wouldn't show her. He was going annoyed, wanted her back with him now, Kagura had gone out searching for her again, but she was incompetent.

`I will find you Kagome, you can't hide forever. When I have you back with me I will waste no time in claiming you. You will be mine, mind, body, and soul.'

Roshi and Kagome had traveled all day and it was finally night so they could move faster. They reached the clearing in Inuyasha's Forest and Kagome stood there taking one last look around. Then she thought about Keada and how she couldn't just leave without saying goodbye to her first. Roshi was all too happy to take her the hut, he didn't want her to leave so every second more she spent there was good for him.

They went in and found Keada sleeping and the fire going just like she had always had it, it was the way Kagome would remember it too.

"Keada wake up."

"Kagome child, ye and Inuyasha and the others have returned?"

Kagome had forgotten that Keada was completely unaware of anything that had happened to them while they were away. But then the elder miko noticed the demon behind her and the aura the same as Naraku surrounding him.

"Kagome are ye in any trouble?" Her one good eye glaring a hole in Roshi.

"No, no Keada this is Roshi, he's a friend. Keada I need to tell you everything that's happened."

"Alright child, sit down."

Kagome retold the story as best she could, and by the end she was in full tears again with Roshi sitting next to her trying his best to comfort her and Keada in stunned silence.

"I'm so sorry for all of this child, I know how much you love Inuyasha. But do you really intend on going back to your era forever?"

"I have to Keada I can't stay here, Naraku is still hunting me."

"Then I bid thee far well child, do not worry we will honor them in this village I will see to it."

"Thank you Keada."

With one last hug to the women who had been like a second mother to her, Kagome and Roshi were making there way back to the well. They reached it and she turned and gave him a hug.

"Take care of Kagura okay?"

"I will, take care of yourself, you know you're like a sister to Kagura and I."

"I know, tell her bye for me."

She climbed onto the ledge and jumped in. Roshi slowly started to make his way back to Naraku's castle, he could move much faster now that he could change into his shadow form.

Kagura was doing another one of her pretend searches again, but something happened that made her head snap up so fast she nearly got whiplash, she smelled him.

`But how could that be he's supposed to be dead! Inuyasha what's going on!?'

She changed course and followed his scent, she had to see him with her own eyes.
