This is getting on my nerves!!! I want to read my reviews, what is wrong with this site!?!?! It's been like four days!

Oh well I will not let this keep me from writing.

A/Q: Has anybody noticed the shortage of updates? I know that life happens and authors can't update all the time but it's like everybody just stopped or something.

A/N: I wonder if I could buy Inuyasha? But until I come up with that very large amount of money (not) I don't own him.

Inuyasha and Kagome arrived back at the village and the first thing to happen was an orange fur ball launched itself at Kagome causing her to stumble back and Inuyasha having to catch her before she fell. Meanwhile the orange fur ball, identified to be Shippou was sobbing into her chest, Inuyasha was going to bop him for nearly hurting Kagome but how could he do that with the little guy crying already?

"Shippou it's okay, me and Inuyasha are back now and I know you're all safe so please stop crying.

"I thought you two got stuck in the well and…*sniff* sniff. Kagome you smell different."

"Um well ya see what happened was"

"You smell like Inuyasha, have you two mated?"

Kagome was shocked to hear that Shippou even knew what that was, and was so blunt about it.

"Shippou! You're too young to know about that!"

"Kagome demons teach their pups about mating very early, so he should know about it."

"Oh well it's okay then I guess."

"Kagome I'm so glad you're back." Sango was more than happy to finally see her friend, ever sense she was kidnapped all she could do was worry about her.

"I'm so glad to see you too!" The two girls hugged tightly crushing poor Shippou who finally squeezed out and took the safe spot on Inuyasha's shoulder.

Miroku walked outside to see what all the noise was about and to his delight saw Sango and Kagome in one of their girlie hugs, he just had to take this opportunity. He walked up to both girls and put his arms around them.

"Kagome it is good to see you!" But just as she was about to respond, they both felt a hand on their butts, but before they could even yell at him he was jerked away and was being held up in the air by a growling, snarling hanyou.

"Don't…Ever…Put…Your…Hands…On̷ 0;Kagome…Again!!" Then he just dropped him to the ground and wrapped a protective arm around his mate.

"Why Inuyasha?" Miroku was about to comment on his friends behavior when a very heavy object clashed with his head, instantly he was on the ground twitching with a blood red Sango standing over him.

"And don't ever put your hands on me again!"

The tense moment was brought to an end by someone's howling laughter. They all turned around to see Roshi holding his stomach pointing at Miroku while tears started to form in his eyes. His laughter became infectious and soon everybody was having the best laugh at Miroku's expense.

But soon Kagome stopped laughing when she remembered she was going to have a talk with Miroku about this very thing.

"Miroku get up and come with me I need to talk to you."

"About?"

"Oh I'm sure you don't want me to say it in front of everyone."

"Alright lets go"

"Wait Kagome I'm coming with you, just in case he try's something again."

"I won't touch her again Inuyasha, you have my word."

"And if you go back on your word I'll have your head!"

Kagome and Miroku walked to clearing in Inuyasha's forest, and stopped when Kagome believed they were out of hear shot. Both completely unaware of the figure crouched in the trees.

"Miroku had do you feel about Sango?"

"I- well- what do you mean Kagome?"

"Don't play dumb Miroku, I know you like her but if you want her you're going about it all the wrong way."

Miroku let out a sigh and sat on a fallen log in the clearing, no use in hiding it anymore.

"Well yes I do care very deeply for Sango, but I don't how to get her, everything I try usually gets me knocked out."

"Maybe if you stopped all that groping and tried to be a little more affectionate she would see."

"But the only reason I grope other women and hit on then is too make her jealous. And I'm near her body I just can't help myself."

"Groping other women is not making her jealous, it's making her think you have no respect for women or her when you grope her!"

"Oh I didn't know that's what she thought."

"Well it is."

"What do you think I should do?"

"Be more helpful to her, ignore other women, and don't grope her, you can still touch modestly but don't go too far, oh and I happen to know for a fact that she loves it when you give her that cute boyish smile!"

Inuyasha nearly fell out of the tree, he had followed to keep an eye on Miroku and protect Kagome. When she started giving him advice on Sango he remembered one of the reasons way he loved her because she was always trying to help people, but he had to hold back a growl at what she said. She thought that his boyish smiles were cute!

"She does!"

"Yeah she loves them, but I would have to say that they have no effect on me, so don't try it."

"Darn I was going to use you for practice, so do Inuyasha's smiles have an effect on you?"

Kagome turned beat red and Miroku smirked, he knew how they felt for each other.

"That is none of your business Miroku, just follow my advice." She stomped off in the direction of Keada's hut. Miroku was about to do the same when something red dropped down in front of him.

"You need to follow her advice monk."

"So you were listening? Did you happen to see her reaction when I asked about your smile?"

"Why wouldn't she have that reaction? I am her mate."

"What you two have mated already!?"

"Feh, did you think I would waste time?" Inuyasha took on his signature pose with his arms crossed on his nose stuck in the air.

"Well actually yes, wasting time is all you've been doing sense you realized that you loved her."

"What! Well how about you and Sango huh? Now that's an abusive relationship if I ever saw one!"

"Yes well now that have something to go on I will surly win her over."

"Feh"

"INUYASHA!!!!"

They both snapped their heads in the direction of that blood-curdling scream, and Inuyasha nearly went nuts when he smelled Kagome blood.

"KAGOME!!!!"

He was running so fast you couldn't even make out a red blur, someone was hurting his mate and they were going to die for it. He narrowed his eyes and let out low, threatening growl when he caught the scent of death and bones, it was Kikyou.

Kagome was on her way to talk to Sango now that she had set Miroku straight, at least that that was her plan until an arrow whizzed by her head and imbedded itself into a tree. She looked up only to see Kikyou notching another arrow getting ready to fire again. She dogged the next two, but she wanted some answers from the miko.

"Kikyou what do you want, Inuyasha already gave you his answer!?"

"And I won't take no for it! He will come to me after I've finished with you!"

"If you kill me you'll kill him too, he would die of a broken heart!"

"What are you talking about girl?"

Kagome pushed her hair to one side and turned her head to show Kikyou the mating mark, and even though she would hate to admit it, but she was surprisingly proud of the mark at that moment and shock that played on the undead miko's face.

"You mated with him! You little bitch!"

Kikyou let lose another arrow and managed to graze Kagome's shoulder, she used the distraction to have her soul stealers bind the girl to the nearest tree. Kagome was scared, Kikyou had her arrow pointed at her heart, she didn't know if it was the fear or her new mating instincts but she called out the first name that came into her mind.

"INUYASHA!!!!"
