Everyone looked on in horror as Kikyou's soul stealers laid Kagome down behind Naraku where they couldn't get to her.

"KIKYOU I WILL KILL YOU FOR THIS!!!" Inuyasha had a death grip on Tetsusiaga trying to keep his demon blood from taking over, if he wanted Kagome back he needed to be able to think clearly, but his eyes were already outlined in red and a flicker of azure could be seen in his eyes.

`Dammit! Why didn't I feel it when she got hurt!? Our mating bound should have let me know she was in danger!'

"Does it make you mad Inuyasha? To see the women you love betraying you like this?"

"I DON"T LOVE KIKYOU ANYMORE!!"

"Well I would suggest you start, because you will be spending eternity in hell with her as part of our agreement."

"If you were wondering how I captured her with out your knowledge Inuyasha, I'll tell you it was quite simple. I could use my miko powers to block only a small amount of pain from reaching your senses in the mating bound. Because I could block a small amount of pain and not large amounts I had to find away hurt her without hurting her too much, so I choose the freezing spell again just like I used on you."

"That's enough Kikyou, go now, you can come back for the dog later."

"I would prefer to watch."

"I said no! You would be in the way."

"You do not order me around"

"Are you worried that I'll kill the mutt before you get a chance to take him to hell?"

"Exactly"

"My dear Kikyou I would not go back on our arrangement."

"Do not toy with me Naraku, I am not a fool, you would Inuyasha the first chance you got. I simply wish to make sure that doesn't happen."

While they were arguing Sesshoumaru notice the freezing spell was wearing off of Kagome and her fingers started to inch toward the quiver of arrows still on her back. All she needed was for them to keep arguing for a while longer and the girl might be able to break the barrier. Sesshoumaru saw this as no problem, he always knew how to press people's buttons.

"You two fight as if you fancy each other." He watched as their eyes narrowed in anger and annoyance.

"I would not care for such a monster!"

"And I have no use for a weak miko such as yourself Kikyou."

"I am not weak, let me show you!"

Kikyou blasted a beam of purifying energy at Naraku but he only held up the jewel and it was deflected. He smirked at the anger on her face.

"Weak"

Kagome was regaining her strength and needed to move fast if she wanted out of there. She managed to grab one of her arrows and was wanting until she had enough strength to complete her plan. Then she felt it a sudden boast of energy.

`Okay, here goes, 1…2…3!'

Naraku let out a howl of pain when Kagome suddenly sprang up from behind him and stabbed him through the heart with her purifying arrow.

"Inuyasha use the wind scar!"

"That was the strongest freezing spell how did you do that!!" Kikyou watched as Kagome ran out of harms way and if it wasn't for her soul stealers she would have been caught in the attack that Inuyasha sent their way.

Kagura laced her cutting winds in with Inuyasha's attack, as did Sesshoumaru. The result was a huge explosion that everyone had to shield themselves from. When the aftermath finally died down the only thing left was a giant carter with the jewel centered in the middle.

Kagome slid down to the middle, she picked up the jewel and reached into her pocket. She pulled out the shards that they had struggled to collect and they started to glow a bright fuchsia along with the nearly complete part. The jewel floated out of Kagome's hand up to eye level with her, then in a blinding flash there was the jewel all in one piece like she had never broken it. She took it in her hand and smiled, it was over at last.

"Kagome!" She looked up to see Inuyasha jumping down beside her, but before she could say anything he lifted her in his arms and twirled her around. When he set her down, she didn't get to say anything because he had claimed her lips in a deep, passionate kiss.

"Inuyasha stop, look" She held up the jewel for him to see, but he looked unimpressed.

"To hell with that damned thing." The gasp she let out was drowned by another kiss and this time she melted into him.

Kagura and Roshi smiled at them, Miroku could do nothing but stare down at the girl he held in his arms he wanted to be like that with her one day. Sesshoumaru just barely managed not to roll his eyes.

When the two finally stopped kissing and pulled away it looked like Kagome was about to say something when she was hit with a pink light in her back and fell limply into Inuyasha. Everyone looked up into the sky to see Kikyou's retreating figure.

"KIKYOU!!"

Sesshoumaru growled, that women was starting to get on his nerves and he would have liked nothing better than to rip out her throat, but this was his brother's affair and he had to deal with it on his own.

As fast as anyone could see, a red blur raced past them in direction of Keada's village with an unconscious Kagome in its arms.

We are sooo close to the ending!! I think the next chapter might be the last not too sure though.
