AN: Sorry for the delay - nothing like memory and hard drive issues. But now, new memory, a new motherboard, and one new hard drive later (thankfully, all to the expense of Dell), I'm back. I had over half of this chapter written when I was forced to deal with those issues. Fortunately, I backed up my files so I didn't lose anything important - it's just been a pain in the ass to reinstall everything so the files will be of use.

 

That said, the chapters for this fic probably will be a bit sporadic since it's demanding to be continued and going unusual directions. That said, here is the next one for your entertainment.

Kagome was lounging in one of the chairs with a leg hanging over the arm when Sesshomaru walked in.
