Konnichiwa!! I've finally returned after so long! I hope you all aren't too furious with me. I plan on updating more over the summer so I should be able to catch up a bit. I've honestly forgotten what I was planning with this fic.. but I'll improvise… hopefully it will still be good! Well now, I hope you enjoy the next chapter!

Hide and go boom

He frowned, watching her from his position downwind in a nearby tree. I hate it when women cry... He let out a deep sigh, clambering his way down to the ground, slowly making his way back toward her. He leaned against a tree once coming a good distance toward her, shaking his head as he watched her frustrated sobs and snarls. He coughed to acknowledge his presence, meeting with her fierce green eyes again. He jerked back at her sudden presence in front of him. Is it possible for someone to move so fast? Or perhaps its telepathy... either way, wow...

He blinked, smiling hesitantly as she bared her fangs. He let out a deep sigh, holding the shard out to her. He figured she'd attack for being stolen from so he held his ground; staff gripped readily in his other hand. She blinked through tear stained eyes, staring baffled at the jewel fragment as it was given back to her. Her eyes moved to stare at him, her head tilting to the side. "You come back?" She blinked, staring back down at the shard in her hand. "Yea, take it before I change my mind" He waved her off, turning to continue on his way, wanting to put as much distance between them as he could before her mind locked on the fact he was a no good thief. Or worse... Lunch.

She smiled, cupping the shard in her hand and rubbing her cheek against her fists. After replacing it in her glove, she skipped off to follow him. He groaned at her presence behind him, and frowned deeper when she made her way to his side. "Hold on second... Kitt wondering… Why you kiss her?" She blinked, the adorable confusion on her face causing him to grin. He simply shrugged, keeping his eyes trained on the road before him.

Once realizing her insistence on the matter he thought about his reasons for the brief lip lock. He was smart enough to not admit he was a perverted lecher and wasn't about to agree to it either. "Seemed like a good idea at the time" He shrugged again, set on keeping his eyes ahead of him, although he would have enjoyed to see her reaction. She stopped, thinking to herself for a moment, before making her way to his side again. "So you kiss Kitt just cause?" He chuckled, realizing her desire to eat him had faded with her confusion.

"Yes, that would be correct" She suddenly smiled, moving to be in front of him, clasping her hands behind her back. "You cute human. Kitt like you" Now forced to look at her, despite his urgency not to, he found himself smiling back, the curiosity of it all invading his mind. "You do?" The curve of his smile widened at her nod, his eyes once again taking in her form. She stopped from her position of walking backwards, forcing him to come to a halt as well. He watched her finger as it made it's way to her lips, his eyes soon training on her pondering face.

"Kitt can no decide… whether you biggest womanizer… or sweetest human Kitt ever meet" He blinked at her matter-of-factness, his brain rooting for the second choice. She circled him for a moment, causing him to turn his head to keep focus on her. With a swish of her tail and the swaying of her hips, she wandered back into the trees, wondering if he may actually follow her.

When her senses indulged he was still standing there she turned her head back to stare at him, giving him a seductive wink, disappearing quickly afterward. He blinked, staring at the empty spot she had just been in. He felt himself grow light for a moment before the force of the ground to his butt knocked him back to reality. He suddenly felt depressed, rejection flowing through him. "A girl who finally likes me… and now she's gone"

Her slightly high-pitched giggle filled the forest as she watched him closely from her perch in a new tree. "Human not going to sit there whole time is he? Why not come find Kitt?" She crouched lower on her branch, her tail swaying with excitement. He pulled himself slowly to his feet, staring around to try and pinpoint where her voice might be coming from. "Are you subtly hinting a game of hide and seek?" She blinked in confusion at the unfamiliar name "That some kind of human game?" He chuckled, shaking his head Demons can be such simple creatures at times.. "Something like that…. Well now.. Where could you be?" He stepped forward, his eyes narrowing as he searched the trees closely.

A few more steps were all he took in the open area before he was pinned viciously to the grass beneath him. He struggled against the heavier creature to no avail, it having him in an immobile lock. "What's this? What do you want?" He tried to turn his face to see his capture only manage to get a glimpse of dark hair before his face was shoved into the ground. "Quiet, human"

"Onii-san! You let man go now!" Kitt raced out from the treed area, pulling at the taller demons arm, trying to remove him from the houshi's back. "O.. Onii-san? Tell him to get off me!" Miroku's furious tone was more than obvious as he struggled against his captor. "That's what Kitt's trying to do!" Her tugging was no use, against her brother she was simply too weak and with the look in his eyes she knew his mind was set. He planned to eat this human and she was clueless as to what to do.

Oookay.. I finally updated something.. YAY! I'm sorry to all those who actually read these.. I've been so busy I haven't had time to do anything.. and I'm also sorry this is kind of short.. I might not post again on this for a while.. but I'll try to get it done quickly.. I have a free summer so hopefully I'll get more done ^-^ I need to work on my FY series first before the others… so look forward to that! ^o^ Hope you all have a fantabulous day!
