Last Time:
"Get those offending things off your head and stop that blasted music!" SesshoMaru roared at Angie. Angie didn't even filch with the angered demon lord in her face the only thing she did do to show she heard him was turn the volume up. Now a two-foot radius with human ears could Linkin Park.
"I said turn that down." SesshoMaru's voice going deadly calm.
"And I thought `Get the hell away from me or I might just have to teach your spoiled butt a Lesson!'" Angie roared as Chester screamed about being "Numb", Tink could sense the angry energy coming off of her master.
"Why you!" SesshoMaru swiped at Angie, she got hit with four of his claws, and the cuts left thin lines going from the left side of her forehead to the right side of her chin. As Angie looked up from her view of the ground she reopened her eyes, staring straight at SesshoMaru with an unblinking stare. Shaking her head sadly she walked past him towards the exit of the park. Leaving the transformed Kagome with SesshoMaru.
This Time:
Angie walked down the crowded Meiji-Dori Ave. as the storm that was inside started to rage outside. The lightning threatening to take down buildings of monstrous size and the rain was pouring down on crazed Japanese couples and non expecting victims of the freak storm. The storm mercilessly played with her long dirty blonde hair creating chaos in her surroundings, Tink could tell what was happening to her Master and, though she didn't really like the idea of sharing her precious master, went in search of her Queen and King.
Kagome felt the powerful magic behind the storm raging and briefly thought of the High Grand General. I really hope she is not mad, Kagome thought, but it is not like SesshoMaru to loose control so easily. Kagome glanced at her mate and stared in mild fear. I am his mate but if he looses control again I wonder who it is going to be on, Kagome thought mildly scared.
SesshoMaru breathed in his mate's scent and almost choked. She is scared? But how and why would she be scared, SesshoMaru mused confused.
"Kagome, why are you scared?" He noticed that she jumped at the sounds of his voice. This cannot be good.
"W-well you know," Kagome tried to think of something that scared her, "The storm." Okay so it was an outright lie, she just couldn't tell her mate that she was a little afraid of him. That would be bad, wouldn't it?
SesshoMaru the fear, fear of getting caught. She's lying, He thought a little afraid to know what was scaring her. "I can tell you are lying." Now there was a jump of fear if you ever saw one.
"Let's not talk about this . . . . " Kagome saw a figure with long blonde hair standing in the middle of the street. Was it? Oh dear Kami it was! " Watch out! That's Angie!"
SesshoMaru spun the car so he wouldn't hit, Kagome using her powers slowed the car to a stop. After she knew she was alive she unbuckled her self and jumped out of the car. The wind wiped at her, her clothes were soon becoming rags from the rocks flying it the air at such a high speed. Angie turned slowly to look at Kagome running toward her and slowed the wind a little to allow her to move, Kagome briefly saw Tink (Tink was unable to get to her Queen and King due to the storm) hiding under a safe car. Once Kagome actually made it to the angered general she bent down to hug her more comfortably instead of hugging her and having Angie's head in her bosom.
"Why are you here?" Angie looked into Kagome's eyes and could tell that she was frightened of her own mate. "I am okay just angered. One of my powers is to control the weather so this is how I release pent up stress of some kind. Nothing to worry about."
"Angie Chan, why is it that you are on guard near Sessho Kun?" Kagome could see that the marks left by her mate's claws had gone now only an angry memory.
"You would not understand it. It may just be that we are not made to be friends or Fate and Destiny has made it so we can never get along." Angie shook her head, the storm slowly loosing its strength. "But there is nothing to fear. I was obstinate. You should not be fearful of your own mate; you mated with him because of your love and trust of his judgment. Do not fear for me, for it is always wasted." Pulling Kagome close the storm died leaving little traces of its destruction.
SesshoMaru saw the exchange of affection and was stunned when Angie looked over at him during the talking to send him messages that Kagome was saying. So she was afraid of me, SesshoMaru wondered stunned. He stood there in his head lost to all that was around him.
Kagome got up from her crouching position and glanced at her mate. Maybe he heard me, Kagome thought slightly mad, well it's not like he can just turn off his ears. Angie glanced up a foot to look at Kagome, is it me or am I getting smaller? Angie gazed over to SesshoMaru.
Yo! SesshoMaru-Sama, you're not going to win Kagome over again standing over there.
SesshoMaru looked up startled to find Angie smiling over at him in an amused manner. Who does she think she is, SesshoMaru thought amused also. But he gave into his joy and gave a small smile, one that spoke volumes compared to his stoic mask that usually adored his face. Kagome seeing nothing wrong gave a grin in return.
Angie suddenly fell to the ground and groped to find something to withdraw her fiery pain. SesshoMaru sensed something coming their way as soon as Angie fell; Kagome went to go pick up her fallen friend when she was knocked back through a glass showcase.
Soft yet deadly evil laughter flowed through the suddenly chilly air, over the tallest building closest to them came a feather and a blood red cloud next to it. SesshoMaru roared deeply at the sight of them and the scent wafting his way. Kagura and that damned miko, SesshoMaru thought rage filling his very core.
Kagome moved slightly at the power exuding from Kagura and the miko, groaning at the sore spot she was sure to become a bruise on her left hip. Getting slowly up from her spot on the ground that was littered with broken glass and wood, she turned towards Angie who was still on the ground then SesshoMaru. SesshoMaru's aura was going chaotic in his intense rage, turning bright red and a deep black; there was only a small amount of white and blue.
His hair was starting to grow a life of it's own with it flying in every which way. His normally molten golden bleeding into a fierce red and his pupils changing to a dark black and blue; dog fur was starting to grow in various places over his body, meaning only one thing, he was going into his true demon form. Kagome started to run at him but she was caught by the hair when the woman on the cloud grabbed her. Kagome twisted to look at her captor and gasped in shock, it was the miko that had been so eager to please two months ago.
The woman on the cloud pulled tighter on Kagome's hair earning a startled gasp of pain from her. Angie pushed off from the ground to walk towards Kagome on unsteady feet. The woman on the feather suddenly jumped from her spot to land in front of the walking Eternal.
"I really don't think you should do that." She spat out. Her dark hair blowing in the strong wind the traditional kimono she wore hugged her curves and left little to the imagination. Her hair was up in a fashion, popular in the sixteenth century, it held by chopsticks and two feathers; her blood red eyes happy in the knowledge that her rival was to be dead in a short seconds.
"Let go of me!" Kagome screeched as she clawed at her captor, turning her body to do so.
Angie saw the struggles of her Queen, swallowing back a bitter taste she looked over at her once trusted teacher and friend, Kikyo. Kikyo had taken to the future nicely, adoring her figure was all clothing bought from Fredericks of Hollywood; she wore a Braided-Trim Corset Top, Pleather Hipster Pant, and Cut-Out Boots. All showing of skin that she had been dying to show when she was a traditional Shinto Priestess, that old red and white really didn't suite her darker looks. Her hair was up with two deadly chopsticks, to be used as daggers, her face covered in make-up.
Kikyo felt the heat of a stare on her and turned to look down at her old friend. She smiled evilly at the thought of giving her a tortuous killing came to mind. Angie stood up to her full height while keeping the gaze all the time, she would be damned if she let her guard down around Her.
"Ah, Angie-Chan long time no see." Kikyo jumped off the cloud it disappearing as her feet touched the ground, "How have you been?" Walking slowly up she stayed a safe distance away; she also made sure she had the Taiyokai in her eyesight.
"Better than you have you old hag." The general sneered causing a shocked expression to appear on the other woman's face.
"Why Angie-Chan, I have done you no wrong, why in the world would you speak to a good friend like that?"
"You are no friend you are a murderous fiend!" Angie changed into her True Form that helped the noxious smell go away. "You turned me in to the bustard Naraku! You slept with him knowing what he was going to do to your sister and me! You sided with the evil side and there for become a Impure-Heart, you no longer carry the title Pure-Heart."
Kagome stood shocked what Angie was talking to Kikyo about. So was Kikyo an Immortal, Kagome thought, was she even a Pure-Heart? Kagura was reading another hair pull when she was knocked from her spot on her feather; Kagome was falling to the ground with her when SesshoMaru caught her. Grabbing onto SesshoMaru's black dress shirt, she stabled herself before she changed. The Taiyokai tighten his hold on his mate, shaking his head when she looked at him.
"Kagome, don't." Was all he uttered; the Taiyokai's mate struggled to help her newfound friend, Angie. Angie's wings twitched with the anticipation of a fight, as her eyes took on a red tint. Kikyo summoned her dark magic to aid her before the fight began; her dark eyes darted towards Kagura with a hidden message. Kagura suddenly disappeared as Angie leapt forward at Kikyo but she was knocked back as Kikyo threw a dark magic ball at her. Kikyo's boot collided in Angie's breastbone, knocking the wind at of her with a single act.
"Ah, poor Angie-Wangie. Are you hurt--?" Kikyo was thrown over at a building as Kagome lunged at her, Angie stayed on the ground trying to gain the air back into her system. Kagura reappeared behind Kagome with a dagger poised to stab her in the back. Before she could strike however Angie threw her body at Kagura's left side, knocking her into a glass entrance door.
Kikyo coughed as she weakly got up from her fall, wiping away the blood that seemed to appear on her bottom lip. Swinging her hair out of her eyes she angrily stormed towards the two Immortals.
"You little wench!" Kikyo pulled a sword from out of nowhere to point it at Kagome's heart. "You will be hurt for interfering with your friend's and my business. I wasn't going to hurt my pitiful reincarnation as it was but you have forced me to do something I promised to a loved one not to do. How dishonorable." Kikyo shook her head as a slow smile worked its way on her painted lips. Kagome stepped in front of the High General, like a mother would its child.
"Kikyo, do not try to be honorable, it doesn't do well for the likes of one such as your self." Kikyo's laughter filled the air as Kagura found her way to her position next to her.
"Kikyo, Master will not be pleased that we have done this." Kagura's voice was reserved and distant, so unlike the normal silky yet defiant voice Kagome's ears were accustomed to. Kikyo must have her under a spell; Kagome took a step forward but halted as a grip on her arm stopped her moving.
"Yes I know," Kikyo sighed in spite of her self, forming another cloud to leave she turned towards the object of her frustration, Angie. "I will be back for what is rightfully mine."
Kagura pulled a feather from her hair to leave, but before she moved she looked at Kagome showing something that she desperately wanted to tell someone. She was trapped, pathetically trapped in a spell. With that she and the legendary priestess was gone, only a faint scent marking them there.
"Angie," the Queen Immortal turned to her friend, "What is it that Kikyo wants?" But as soon as the question had entered Angie's ears she was gone with the wind.
SesshoMaru loosed the grip on his mate's arm, rubbing it softly. "I think Angie has something to tell us but in her own time."
"That's beside the point!" Kagome muttered to her self. Looking at the buildings destroyed in the mini fight, she sighed. "What are we going to do with this mess?" The forgotten Taiyokai of the western Japanese lands smiled.
"You can always use magic," He held one of her delicate hands in his own. "You know?" A nod was his only answer.
"Things are going to get worse, I can feel the balance of time and magic shifting under our very feet." Her voice solemn compared to the light speaking voice she once had, before the fight.
The High Grand General of Pure-Heart, raced atop of buildings as she felt the girls' presence draw closer. The young girl, albino looking, turned as Angie landed gracefully in the clearing.
"Finally you came," The girl spoke with a quiet voice, "I heard that fight from over here. What happened?"
"Kikyo and Kagura," Angie noticed the wince at the girl's sister's name. "Came to get Kagome. I don't understand why they think that I have what Kagome has but they do and will try to get it again." Angie wanted for a few seconds before continuing, "Now Kanna Chan why would Kagura think I had It and why is Kikyo here?"
Kanna looked away, afraid to tell her friend about the spell she had been under and released some valuable information. The other girl waited in suspense yet a knowing suspense-for she knew what was to come.
"I am deeply sorry my friend but I have for witnessed that some unsettling times are coming for our Queen; I fear the worst." The albino girl said looking off to the distance, seeming lost in her own musings she continued on. "I see complete and utter despair going along with death. Watch over her with all your might, I'll try joining you shortly but Maku has me on a short leash and I am getting interesting information. So I'll meet up with you as soon as possible, goodbye dear friend," with that Kanna back up until she blended in with the darkness.
"Goodbye to you my dearest friend, may your journeys be safe." Angie turned around to leave but was confronted with Kikyo. She looked worn but still slightly exuberant.
"Ah, poor Angie Chan does the weather got you down?" Kikyo sneered at her once pupil on Immortal. Kikyo had changed into her old Shinto Priestess outfits, an outfit that hugged her over baring curves.
"Go drink poison wench, no one likes you."
"Oh you are wrong there, Maku likes me a great deal."
"You slut!"
"Don't sound too envious."
"I am not envious!" Angie ran at Kikyo, to which Kikyo dodged the wild punch that was directed towards her. The Grand High General swung her left leg towards her teacher hitting her in the jaw. Kikyo hit a tree knocking it down.
"You little brat! That's going to leave a mark!" Kikyo screeched at the top of her lungs as she rubbed the blood from her face.
"Huh duh that was what I was meaning to do," Angie spoke. Kikyo walked up, which was less intimidating to the fact that she was limping, and said in her most chilling voice.
"Now that you did that I don't think that you will live and here I was going to let you." Kikyo stopped to breath. "But now I'll kill you when Maku is ripping out both our Queens' heart and her mates' heart."
"You won't because if it comes down to it, Maku won't be ripping their heart out he would be mine though." She paused to glare, "Because I would rather die protecting my Queen then live and watch her die. Now if you don't mind your scent is making me noxious." Angie jumped back to vanish among the trees and darkness they provided.
"I will kill you before Kagome dies. I promise you that!" The dark priestess screamed in the area that Angie left in. For the dark priestess knew of the times to come as well, may they be good or they are bad. She knew it was a test for all that was involved.
