A/N: (yawns) I don't own Inuyasha.
"Oi! Kagome!" Inuyasha yelled from the front door. "Hurry up!"
"One second!" Kagome grabbed her backpack and turned back to the smaller kitten. I'll be back later. Don't get into any trouble.
Okey MOM! The kitten mewed sarcastically. Kagome just rolled her eyes and ran out of the room.
Four hours later...
Kagome looked around for a table in the cafeteria. She was about to walk to her usual table which still sat, empty as it always was when she noticed Inuyasha, laughing with some of his friends. She walked slowly over to the table to see that there was an empty seat next to him.
"Hey Inu-" before she could finish her sentance, she was thrown to the side by an annoyed tiger demon.
"Move it!" the demon growled as it pulled out the seat Kagome had been about to sit in and sat down.
Kagome looked to Inuyasha who seemed not to notice. This is your chance! Kagome jumped at the voice from her backpack.
Kitty? What are you doing here? She watched as the small kitten jumped out of the open bag and landed softly on the ground.
You said to stay out of trouble. Not out of your backpack. The kitten pointed out before picking up a small stone in her mouth and throwing it at Kikyo. Kagome watched as the angry tiger demon turned around in her seat, her eyes turning red.
"Who threw that?!" She growled, her claws growing longer.
Kagome felt a nudge from behind her as her kitten tried to push her forward. She looked up, feeling a sudden rush of courage. "I-i did!"
"You?! The idiot who can't even use her powers, dare to challenge me?!" Kikyo's tail wrapped around her waist as she began to get ready to fight.
"Yeah! Tonight. After school! In the sparing cage!" Kagome hissed.
That night...In the sparing cage...
Don't worry Kagome! This tiger's all hiss and no bite. The kitten reassured. If anything bad happens I'll find a way to stop the match.
Kagome just shook her head and stood up, glaring at Kikyo from the center of the ring of people. "Let's go!" Kagome hissed as the two felines circled the ring. Without warning, the tiger roared and pounced on her, tackling then pinning her to the ground. Kagome hissed and struggled as Kikyo grabbed her wrists and held them above her head.
"You can't beat me if you can't even control yourself!" she laughed.
'That's it!' Kagome's eyes began to turn red as she reflected on what Inuyasha had told her.
"What the-" in a flash, Kikyo found herself pinned to the ground with Kagome straddling her waist, holding her claws above her head.
"Ah, but I can control myself!" Kagome pulled her clawed fist back and was about to drive it deep into Kikyo's skull when there was a flash of light and everything went black.
Kagome woke up a few hours later in her room at Inuyasha's mansion. "W-where am I?" she sat up, rubbing her aching head.
He stopped you. Kagome turned to see her kitten sitting on the bed beside her. He knocked you out before you could kill her. Then he brought you back here, saying something about not training you anymore. Kagome immediately jumped to her feet and ran to Inuyasha's room where she found him on the phone.
"Yeah...no.....I know and I'm sorry....don't worry about it!" Inuyasha slammed the phone down and turned to her.
"I'm afraid I need to stop your training." Inuyasha said calmly as he picked up the phone again and began dialing a number.
"But, that means-" She looked at him as if he had just shattered her.
"Yeah. I'll be able to have you moved back into your own house by tommorow," he said, calmly, waiting for the man on the other line to pick up.
"No!" Without warning Kagome pounced on him and tackled him to the floor. She pinned him to the floor, straddling his waist. "You can't leave me!" She moved so that her face was only a few centimeters from his. "You just can't."
"Kagome..." He said softly, but stopped when he felt a teardrop hit his cheek.
"You won't leave! I won't let you!" She grabbed the back of his neck and moved so that her fangs were at the base of his neck.
"Kagome....don't...not" he felt her hesitate. "not yet."
"I have to!" she cried, she felt her fangs grow longer.
"Kagome, I'm not going to leave you," he said softly as he pulled her into a tight hug.
"But, you said-"
"I know what I said!" he snapped. "I changed my mind. I want you to stay, but not as a student..."
