A/N: This is getting good, but unfortunately for me, it's not ending any time soon.I'm not going to be doing Keade's weird speech impairment thing. She shall speak normally in my fics. I don't own Inuyasha...I'm just using him anyway...
Inuyasha looked at the faces of the various demons around the room.
"Kagome Higurashi. Please report to the principals office." A voice said over the loud speaker. Kagome tensed.
"Don't worry about it. She probably just wants to talk," Inuyasha said, standing up and walking out of the room. She followed him out to the hallway. "Have you ever been to her office before?" Kagome shook her head. "Oh, well there's something you should know then." He paused and turned so that they were facing the offices door. "She's a preistess." Kagome's eyes grew wide as Inuyasha opened the door.
"Hello," greeted the voice of an old woman from inside the room. Kagome walked into the room and looked around. It looked a lot like a lawyers office with various books covering the walls.
Inuyasha closed the door behind them as they walked in. "Hey, old woman," Inuyasha pushed the stunned Kagome into one of the seats in front of the large desk.
"I told you to stop calling me that," the woman said calmly, taking a sip of her tea.
Inuyasha ignored this comment and sat down next to Kagome. "Kaede, Kagome, Kagome, Kaede," the hanyou introduced them impatiently.
"How...?" Kagome seemed to be at a loss of words.
"You mean, how could a preistess, a person who purifies demons be a principal at an all demon school."
"How'd you-?"
"Everyone asks that question. The answer is, I founded the school."
"Alright hag. Enough with your little games. Whadya want?"
"Now that's a good question." The old woman pulled out a small crystal ball and handed it to Kagome. She stared at it for a minute before placing it on the table and watching it roll around. "Careful!" Kaede grabbed the ball before it fell off the table.
"Sorry. Something about shiny spheres." She looked down, her face turning slightly pink.
"It's not your fault," The old woman said calmly. "Anyway, this is a replica of the-"
Inuyasha looked at the small sphere closely. "Shikon Jewel," he said, finishing her sentence.
"So you've heard of it?"
"Yeah, my father used to talk about it sometimes when I was little." He looked away at the memory of his father.
"What does it have to do with me?" Kagome asked, watching the jewel as Kaede walked across the room toward Inuyasha. Kaede bent down and whispered something in Inuyasha's ear then walked back behind her desk.
"No way!" Inuyasha yelled, jumping out of his seat. He looked as if he had seen a ghost. "You must be out of your fucking mind!"
"Would you rather if I did it?" The old woman tried to make an evil smile. Inuyasha shook his head at the thought. Kagome just sat where she was, looking from Kaede to Inuyasha and back. "Then, do it. It's for her own good. You know what will happen if you don't." Inuyasha nodded.
"Kagome, stand up." He said, trying to choke back a sob.
"Inuyasha? What's wrong?" She tried to look him in the eye, but he looked away.
"Just do it!" he ordered.
"What's going on?!" Before she could react, Inuyasha grabbed her from the chair and pinned her to the ground. She looked up at him. "Inuyasha? What're you doing?"
"Kagome, take a deep breath. This is going to hurt." He said softly as he pulled her shirt up about an inch above her waist. He put his hand down on the area of skin just above her waist and turned to Kaede. He nodded and she returned the nod. A tear ran down his face. He looked back to Kagome. "I'm sorry!" he moved the claws of his index and middle fingers to where his hand had been.
"What are you-? AAAAAGH!!!" She cried out as there was a sharp pain then a splash of blood coming from her left side. She felt something small being pulled from her body, then everything went black.
A/N: That had to hurt...
