Ravished within Self-denial
A/N: this is a narrative story, so the use of the word I may be author talking. Don't worry though; you'll be able to tell whose talking. Thoughts are in italics. This is a mixture of demons and humans - no danger here between the two species. This story starts as a high school setting (first chap only), but the rest is going to take place in University (studies after high school). This fic is going to progress slowly. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: All right reserved. I don't own Inu Yasha or any other characters, unless told otherwise. A few characters are created, but they don't hold much significance to the storyline.

Chapter 4: Where Dreams Come True?
“Sango, nooo! You can't do this to me!”
“I'm not the one doing anything to you Kagome. In fact I'm asking you to come along!”
“And why the hell would I do such a thing?”
“Because we all know you wanna.”
“Whose we, Sango?”
“Kagomee!!!”
“No!!!”
“Please?”
“No. I'm supposed to be working this summer, not concentrating on my dreams to come true.”
“See Kags, that's the spirit!”
Kagome just huffed and pressed her lips together in a straight line. “No!” That answer was firm enough.
Alright, Sango thought, if you aren't gonna agree to this the easy way, then I guess we'll have to do this the hard way!
“Kay Kags, you do as you wish. I'll just tell Miro you aren't up to it.”
Kagome glared at Sango. She knew where this was going.
“And we all know,” Sango continued, “that there are no returns on any of the tickets.”
Kagome bit back a groan. Emotional blackmail? Really?
“Look Sangs, as much as I appreciate everything you guys did for me, all the troubles you went through for me, I just can't go!”
“Yeah I get ya! Too bad we got tickets to business class and of course the five-star hotel will understand one person short.”
Kagome closed her eyes tightly. She can't be doing this to me!
“I didn't ask anyone to pay for me! You should have asked me before buying tickets for me!”
“Well of course you agreed.” Sango glanced at Kagome as she arched an eyebrow at her.
“Or that's what I told the guys at least!”
“What?”
“Kags,” Sango sighed. “After years of friendship, how can you do this to me? You're gonna leave me all alone out there?”
“You're going with your boyfriend Sango; what more can you want?” Kagome bit in.
“Well, I'm gonna be alone at night. It's not like we get to share a room!”
“And why not? It's not like that never happened before.” Kagome was getting tired of these lame excuses.
“Alright. Forget this. Forget tickets, money, my `hostility' and everything. How about as a friend? I'm asking you to come with us because I want to enjoy a summer with my friends. Is that too much to ask? When was the last time we went anywhere? I understand you have issues with your dad and family. But how about now? Can I know what the problem is now?” Sango took a deep breath. She knew she wasn't playing fair anymore.
Kagome had turned her head away, obviously being hit in a sore spot.
Sango sighed and turned Kagome to face her. “Please Kags, for me?”
Kagome exhaled a bit too loudly for comfort and after a long look at Sango, cringed and replied. “Okay. For you!”
Sango squealed as she wrapped her arms around her.
“Oh my god! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
“Yeah yeah Sangs,” she spoke as she somewhat hugged her friend back.

They were now at Pearson Airport, sitting in the waiting area at gate 42. Kagome glanced at the flight board and read Flight 421, departing time: 4:32.
She glanced at her watch. 3:45, she sighed. Forty seven minutes to go.
“You know, staring at your watch isn't going to speed up time.”
Kagome glared at Inu Yasha as he cocked her a smile.
“And nor is staring back at me!” she retorted.
He smirked. “When was I asking to speed up time?”
She narrowed her eyes at him. “Oh don't you -”
A loud grumble cut her off before she could finish her sentence.
She blushed furiously as Inu Yasha stood up.
“And I thought you weren't hungry” he muttered. “I'll go get us something to eat.”
Kagome was about to protest but another grumble seemed to have changed her mind and hold her tongue.
Inu Yasha could only chuckle as he wandered off.
Now Kagome sat there alone recalling the events that seemed to happen way to fast for her liking. She was told last evening that Inu Yasha and Miroku had bought tickets to go to Disney World for two weeks. Everything was arranged: flight tickets were bought, hotel was booked and even the admission tickets to enter the theme park were bought online. Why? That she hadn't figured out yet. All she knew that Sango wanted a vacation and time to spend with her friends this summer.
More like her boyfriend, she huffed.
Apparently, Inu Yasha was from a high-fi family. His dad was the Takahashi, running one of the most successful business enterprises in Canada. Of course, Inu Yasha was supposed to take on with his dad in the family business - including his older brother, Sesshomaru Takahashi - and was now studying in Schulic (world-recognized business school). How he met Miroku, was still unknown, but apparently both friends were aiming for the same light.
This trip wasn't a planned one.
Inu Yasha had gotten discount on tickets to all accommodations thanks to his dad.
If only Kagome could believe that. She knew there had to be more to this story.
But anyhow, now she was stuck here traveling from Toronto, Ontario to Orlando, Florida.
She didn't really mind this idea. It'd been a while since she had been out. The idea seemed quite comforting, actually. But just the thought of Inu Yasha coming along made her nerves uneasy. She didn't know why. She could have asked what business he had here. But then again, this was his business. After all, wasn't he the one to get the tickets?
Kagome sighed and glanced around. Almost all the seats were filled now in the waiting area. Of course Miroku and Sango were still not in sight.
And here I thought that Sango wanted to spend time with friends, she thought emphasizing on the plural.
**********
“17 A, B, C, oh that's my seat.” Kagome said as she sat on the window seat.
“And here is mine!”
Oh hell no! She thought. Why is he sitting with me?
Of course the seats were situated in twos. And the more she thought about it the more it made sense that Sango will definitely sit with Miroku.
She crossed her arms and looked out the widow as Inu Yasha made himself comfortable. She thanked heaven for sitting in the business class because at least this way the seats were bigger, therefore more space between Inu Yasha and herself.
As if things weren't bad enough, he seemed to enjoy this more than expected. When they first arrived at the airport, the two men were already there waiting for them. Kagome was hesitant towards him due to the little `accident' with him two nights prior. She didn't know how to approach him. But Inu Yasha just pretended like it never happened. Of course, he kept glancing at her and chatted when it seemed necessary, but never acted towards his actions the other night.
Kagome was thrilled at this behaviour, but somewhere in the back of her mind, something kept bothering her. Part of her wanted to kick his ass for `playing' with her even if it was a kiss on the `cheek' like any normal friends - which they were not - but part of her wanted him to respond to that.
Didn't he want more? She wondered. Shut up! She told herself. We had an agreement.
Yeah. But the agreement doesn't mean that he can't like her. Her mind fought back.
She groaned visibly and covered her face with her hands. This was going to drive her insane. Not to mention that luscious cologne of his!
Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!
“Hey… you okay?”
Turning her head a bit, she bit out, “Fine.”
He just chuckled. “Something tells me that this isn't how you planned this summer of yours.”
“And something tells me that neither had you once you get off this plane castrated!”
He chuckled huskily. “Quite a bitch, aren't you?”
She narrowed her eyes at him and asked, “What did you call me?”
He suppressed a grin.
“Say it again!” she threatened.
She froze as he leaned his head forward. His cologne was clouding her head. She forced her eyes to remain open. Then, without warning, he ducked his head and nuzzled her jaw line under her chin. Leaning up a bit, he whispered, “I call `em as I see `em!”
He was smirking as he pulled back.
She stared at him with wide eyes. With a snap to her senses, she raised her hand, forming it into a fist.
“Why you fuckin-” Before the fist could reach his face, he caught her wrist.
“Now Kagome, that's not how you should treat someone who arranged this trip for you and your friends, is it?”
“I never asked you to!” She responded and pulled her hand back from him. She could still feel that part of her skin burning - with need.
“But you came!”
“Because I was invited!”
“I don't remember asking you.”
“Well that doesn't matter `cause Miro did that for you, you insensitive jerk!”
He just smiled at her as he stared at her.
She looked back at him and asked, “What?”
“I never said you weren't invited Kagome!”
She stared at him bewildered. First he makes it seem like he didn't want me to come. Now he tells me he does? What the hell is wrong with him? She screamed mentally.
She glared at him and stood up.
He arched an eyebrow at her and she responded, “I'm going to ask Miroku to trade spots with me!”
Of course, she'd have to find him first. But hey, anything to get away from him.
He just sat there as she waited. “Move Inu Yasha.”
“I ain't moving bitch. You can do whatever you want, wherever you want.”
“And exactly how am I supposed to cross you then?”
With him blocking the way to the isle, there was no getting away from here.
“Figure it out, wench!”
She glared at him and moved to go over him. Of course this meant that she had to climb across his lap. She gave it a shot. She hoped that her trying to cross over would make him move.
She grabbed the armrest of his chair and draped one leg across his legs. Debating whether to move forward or not, she spared him a glance. With his arms crossed, he smirked at her, but didn't move an inch.
“You know Kagome, if you really want me, all you have to do is ask.”
She growled at him and pulled her leg back, giving up. She knew she'd be stuck here as long as the plane was moving.
It was a long four and a half hour ride. Refreshments were served, some people fell asleep. But Kagome stayed up the whole way. As long as Inu Yasha was up, there was no way she was gonna fall asleep. Crossing her arms, she waited for the plane to land.

“Wow. This is beautiful.” Sango breathed.
Miroku nodded in agreement, while Kagome and Inu Yasha just tailed behind.
They had now entered the Disney Resort located near the Animal Kingdom. It was one suite with two bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room and a small balcony, providing a far-view of the park. It was magnificent.
As Sango glanced from one room to another, she bit her bottom lip. Looking at Kagome with pleading eyes, she held her gaze.
Kagome just glared back knowing exactly what Sango wanted, but hell would freeze over before she would share a bedroom with Inu Yasha so Sango could have her fun with Miroku.
As Sango thought, Kagome gave her the don't-even-think-about-it look.
Sighing deeply, she patted Miroku's arm and turned towards the room towards the end of the hallway. As she passed by him, his hand smacked her butt lightly, causing him a heated glare. Of course she was in no mood of fighting, which lucky for Miroku, didn't lead to a beating.
“Let's unpack and have dinner, guys.” Sango spoke.
“If we're gonna see Disney, we need to be up at the crack of dawn.”
With that said everyone got to work and prepared for the coming day.
This is hardly my dream coming true, Kagome thought as she followed Sango into their bedroom they were going to share. She took the bed at the far end. There was another one beside hers. The sheets were light red, while the carpet had a darker flush. The curtains were white in colour matching with the furniture. There was another door at the end of the room, which Kagome assumed to be the bathroom. The room was three times the size of the dorm at campus. The room seemed to give off a homely essence.
It's a nice place, Kagome thought. Maybe I should give this vacation a chance! I think it deserves at least that much, she laughed.
Soon the lights were out and Kagome was in bed. As she turned and saw the one beside her empty, she sighed.
Figures, she thought. She closed her eyes and dreamt a dreamless sleep. Tomorrow, things just might be different.
Sorry, it took such a long time guys. I had exams and then I went on vacation. Hopefully, the next chapters should be up faster.
