A/N: I have the need to write today… I don't know why. I have this necklace that I got a couple of days ago… It has a paw print charm, dog of course. I can't really see it when it's hanging around my neck, but it's really cool…Haven't taken it off since I got it. ^ ^ Anyways, Inuyasha is OOC, I know… I had to put it that way to help it, sorry. Don't worry; he'll be back to the arrogant stubborn jackass that he is in no time. What is it with that story before or after story thing? I mean, I've done it before, yeah, but I don't get it… To keep the readers attention? I don't know…
Well here's the story, Chapter 4 of my twisted yet okay story…

Chapter 4

Sakura vs. Kikyou! (How the hell did this happen?!)

By Reggs (my new name, ha!)

~~~~~~~~
'Sakura' yawned, a warm caress tickling her cheek. She buried her face into the warmth that held her, pinning for at least five more minutes of sleep. The warm thing chuckled and stoked her hair, shaking her a bit.
"Time to wake up, pup."(That rhymed ^-^) the thing whispered into her very sensitive ear. She mumbled and shook her head, burying deeper into his chest. The thing chuckled again and stroked her sensitive ear with his clawed finger and thumb. She growled a bit and slapped at the hand, but it refused to leave her doggie ear.
Wait… Doggie ear?
"KAYAA!" she screamed and jumped up, landing with a loud thud unceremoniously on the ground. Every one woke with a start, Sango and Miroku grabbing their weapons. "WHAT THE FUCK...!" She screamed again as she was picked up bridal style and hugged close to a bare chest man. She blushed as the man cuddled her head and licked her ear.
"My little puppy finally grew her little cute ears." He cooed her.
"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HER!" screamed Inuyasha as he jumped down and grabbed the dazed girl from the guys arms, growling at him as he hid her behind him with Kagome. Tobu pouted and growled, trying to reach 'Sakura'.
"Aw, come on! I want to cuddle with my mate!" he whimpered. Inuyasha fumed and blocked his every grab.
"She's not your mate!" yelled Inuyasha at the still very half naked dog demon, who Sango was ogling very intently. 'Sakura' snapped out of her daze and stood beside Inuyasha, silently fuming. Tobu yelled in joy and embraced her, nuzzling her ear and licking it, sending shivers up her spine. Inuyasha growled at the man and lunged at him. Tobu picked `Sakura' up and jumped into a tree, holding her protectively to his chest.
“She will be my mate. Face it, dog-boy. You won't be able to mate with her.” he taunted.
Everyone in the camp froze. `Sakura' was the first to move, bringing her fist down on his head and her knee up to his stomach, effectively knocking the wind out of him.
“YOU!!! YOU FUCKED UP PERVERTED DEMON!!” she screamed as she kicked the surprised Tobu down onto the dewed ground. He looked up in surprise at her, his icy blue orgs staring straight into her golden brown. She shivered and backed off, letting him be.
“She's my sister you idiot!” yelled Inuyasha, who kicked him in the stomach to the nearest tree. Shippo had hidden behind Kagome, scared because he realized that two ticked off half-demons are worse than Naraku.
“I didn't now, dog-boy!” yelled back an angered Tobu. He was going to make the girl submit to him. The girl was to be his mate, like Lord Sesshomaru said she would be. “You honestly thought,” he dodged another swing from Inuyasha, the fight moving into the clearing. “That I knew she was?” He jumped down, and Inuyasha kicked him hard in the chest.
"You'll wish you never came across-"
"KAGOME-CHAN!" yelled 'Sakura', but not in annoyance or anger, but in fear. Inuyasha turned sharply to see his sister and his friends beside Kagome's crumpled body. He watched as 'Sakura' stood and bounded off, and he saw soul collectors swirling around in the direction his sister was headed to. His eyes widened and he ran over to Kagome.
"Is she going to be alright?" he asked. At their nod he stroked her cheek and bounded off to find 'Sakura'…….and Kikyou.
'Sakura' stood in front of Kikyou, growling like there was no tomorrow. Kikyou smiled a little and inclined her head, smirking now.
"You must be the new half demon. Sarah, am I correct?" she asked in her mocking tone. Sakura's bangs covered her eyes and she let out a vicious bark.
"My name is Sakura, you impudent bitch." She snapped at the dead priestess. Said priestess laughed half heartedly and licked her cold dead lips.
"Yes. I heard my reincarnation brought you hear. Hmph," she narrowed her eyes at the growling half demon. "She uses power that is not hers." As soon as those words left her lips, she was thrown up against the tree behind her (I've noticed that, she always stands in front of a tree.), effectively knocking the cold breath from her clay body. She looked through the bangs into the intense golden brown eyes of the young girl.
"You will NOT insult, Kagome." She growled out. "She is a hundred of you put together! She is real! She has a heart! Unlike you, she cares for Inuyasha!" she barked at her, throwing her against the ground and kicking her in the stomach. "You stole the soul you thrive on. You are no longer Kikyou," she kneeled down and yanked her head up, her eyes boring into the empty ones of the fake doll. "You are a doll that looks like Kikyou and reeks of death and graveyard soil." She ground out, throwing her against the tree once more, smirking as she hit her head against one of the branches.
"Who are you to Inuyasha? You do not even know him." Snapped out Kikyou, her soul collectors fleeing. Sakura smirked and brought out a small fan in which Kaede had given her to use for a time. It was lined with silver, just like Kagura's only the royal colors of the west.
"I know everything about Inuyasha." She said. Said person jumped into the clearing, looking at her and Kikyou, trying to figure what was going on. Myouga, who had disappeared, wondrously arrived on Sakura's shoulder. None of them took notice of Inuyasha's presence and continued to glare at each other.
"I'll ask again. Who are you to Inuyasha?" Kikyou asked again, her patients with the girl wearing thin. Myouga jumped up and down on Sakura's shoulder, outraged.
"She is Master Inuyasha's sister, Lady Sakura! You will not harm her!" said a shockingly brave flea. Kikyou's eyes widened and she looked between the flea, the girl, and Inuyasha, wondering if the flea bore false. "Lady Sakura is Inuyasha's twin sister, though she may look younger, don't let appearances deceive you." He said before jumping off. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to find Lady Sakura's retainer."
"You're running away again!" barked the girl half demon after him. She received no response and turned back to the dead miko, throwing out an arrow that had Kagome's blood on it. "Look at it closely, Inuyasha. Whom does it belong to?" he stared at the arrow, the smell of Kagome's blood mixed with Kikyou's smell mixed with it.
"No." he said. Kikyou smirked at Sakura's bowed head.
Sakura smirked and dropped her fan, dropping to one knee, her shoulders shaking. Her eyes started to bleed red, the grin turning into a full blown smile. Her laughs became stronger, breaking through her lips. She laughed at Kikyou, at Inuyasha, and at everything that seemed weak. Her eyes were blood red, and her fangs had grown, but it seemed she had control over her transformation.
Tobu stepped up behind her and smirked, glad to see her in control of her demon side. 'It's been a while' he thought as the young girl kicked off the ground and delivered a blow to the dead woman's face. He watched as Inuyasha ran and grabbed her by the upper arms and held her back, yelling at her to stop.
"Sakura! Control your self!" he yelled at her. She growled in defiance and tried to break free of his hold, still glaring at Kikyou with eyes so hard and cold it was a wonder why Kikyou didn't crumble right there.
"Let GO!" she grounded out, kicking at his legs. Every attempt to get free of his grasp was made in vain, and Kikyou's soul collectors came and gathered Kikyou up and taking her away. "NO! Come back here you witch! I'm not done!" tears began to form at the edge of her eyes. "You will pay for hurting Kagome! You hear me?! You will pay for helping him! You-" her yelling was cut off by a resounding slap. Her head snapped to the side, and she felt her cheek twinge in pain.
A clawed hand cupped her cheek, and another cupped her chin. Her head moved without resistance and she was staring into the eyes of her older brother, Inuyasha.
"O…Onii-chan." She whispered, then jumping away from him and running away, back towards the camp. Inuyasha sighed and crouched down and listened as Tobu walked up to him. He didn't say anything for a while, just stared as the half demon held his head with his ears drooped and his body crouched.
"I met a little girl once." Tobu finally said. "I was injured and she was bathing in the stream I had walked to too clean the wound. She noticed me and walked up to me, not even covering herself up. She inspected the injury and helped me bandage it." He paused and crouched before the half demon, watching him with soft eyes. "We became friends, and her Onii-san permitted me to join them. I was happy, because she would laugh and play with me, not even embarrassed at the fact that I saw her inappropriately. She was my best friend." He sighed and looked as a sakura blossom fell between them. He picked it up and admired it. "She said I looked neat without my shirt. I haven't worn one since then. She disappeared a few months later. When I asked her Onii-san where she went to, her just looked at me and turned away." He sighed again and lifted the half demons face so he could look him in the eyes. His icy blue stared into his golden, and he saw sadness, confusion, and regret in them. "Her name was Sakura, and I promised her I would always protect her." He paused and growled at Inuyasha, slapping him across the face before standing up. "I don't care if you are her brother. You will not harm her again. I will protect her, even if that means killing you to do so." He finished and walked off, leaving the half demon to his thoughts, and returned to his future mate.
Tobu found Sakura beside a river, staring at the reflection the sun made. He sat beside her, glad that she didn't hop up and smack him when he did.
They sat in silence for a long period of time, which made him wonder if she even noticed him. He opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by her.
"Your stomach was cut deeply, and you were trying to wash it out along with getting rid of the smell of the demon you just slayed. I was hiding behind the rock when your blood washed into my nose, and I didn't care if you or I wasn't decent. I walked over and helped you, like you helped me numerous times afterward." She told him, staring at the fish that swam below the surface of the rock. He looked at her and smiled, nodding. "You said that you would protect me," she paused and looked at her palms. He frowned and reached out, covering hers with his large hand, squeezing it tightly. She looked up to his concerned eyes, which made her vision swim. "Would you protect me from myself?" she asked him. A look of surprise registered on his face, which turned to a look of understanding and comfort.
He brought her into his lap, holding her small hands in his large one, stroking her back soothingly and nuzzling her ear.
"I will always protect you, Sakura." He kissed her forehead and tucked her under his chin, growling soothingly, comforting the young half demon. "Even if it was from yourself." She smiled as tears made their way down her cheeks and onto her chest, and sobs wracked her body.
Tobu comforted her, soothing her and petting her hair, but staying quiet as she cried. He remembered when she told him she was leaving soon, and he couldn't come with. She cried that whole night in his arms, and he would stay here and let her do so if she needed to.
Her sobs turned into whimpers as she soon drifted to sleep, her cheek pressed against his shoulder blade in the cutest way he had to smile. Her shirt fluttered in the night wind, causing her to shiver, and snuggle closer to him for warmth. He smiled and kissed her forehead and stood, turning and heading back to the camp.
Inuyasha looked down as Tobu walked to camp with Sakura in his arms. He jumped down and walked up to him as Tobu stopped.
"She needs to eat." He told the dog demon. Tobu nodded and walked on, Inuyasha falling into step beside him and gazing at his little sister. Kagome stood when they entered the camp, holding her shoulder as she looked at Sakura with worry etched into her face.
"Is she okay?" she asked in an almost whisper, looking back and forth between the two. Inuyasha nodded his head and took Sakura out of Tobu's arms, who growled in warning. Kagome picked up a cup of ramen and sat besides Inuyasha, who had sat down with Sakura placed in his lap. Tobu sat on the other side, looking at the fire with his icy blue eyes, occasionally drifting to the sleeping travelers.
"Sakura," whispered Inuyasha, shaking her a bit. "Sakura." He said again, this time a bit louder. Kagome watched as the young girl stirred, her eyes opening a bit and her ears twitching this way and that. She smiled and handed the cup and chopsticks to Inuyasha, who made sure Sakura was awake enough to have a good grip on the cup. She took the offered food and ate it hungrily, down to slurping at it within mere minutes. Kagome, Inuyasha, and Tobu smiled as they watched her, Inuyasha stroking her back, Kagome moving her bangs from her face, and Tobu just sitting there, watching his future mate and her family.
Sakura finished the food in no time, and was glad when another cup was handed to her. She began to slurp it down as well, but growled when it was taken from her.
"You eat to fast. You'll get a stomach ache." Kagome explained. Sakura whimpered and nodded, and slowly ate the noodles when they were given back to her. Inuyasha chuckled as she finished off the second cup and looked for more.
"No more pup. We'll run out before the trip is over if you do." He told her. At his voice she stiffened and looked at her covered knees. Tobu smiled a little and moved to sit with his back to the fire, stoking her shoulder. Kagome frowned and looked at Inuyasha, who shook his head. He cupped her injured cheek gingerly and brung her head around to look at her face. She adverted her eyes, causing him to growl a little in annoyance. "Look at me pup." He demanded her. Her eyes snapped to his and he smiled a little. "I'm sorry about earlier, but you lost control. Don't be afraid of me." He told her.
"Onii-chan." She whispered before hugging him, "Gomen nasai." She mumbled into his chest. He smiled and stoked her hair with one hand, pulling Kagome closer so he could hold her too with the other. Sakura looked at Kagome and smiled. "Onee-san." She whispered to her. Inuyasha smiled more and hugged them both close, Tobu just smiling and stroking her ear, smiling when she purred.
"Training on the way tomorrow." Tobu and Inuyasha said. Kagome and Sakura giggled and nodded. Kagome needed to harness her new power and Sakura had to learn to be a half demon. "Get some sleep." The guys said again, causing the girls to giggle again.
"Hai Hai, we will." They said before breaking out into a fit of giggles, the guys chuckling as they did so.
