“Nozomi! Get down from that tree right now!" barked Sango.
Her two-year old daughter looked down and grinned. Sango and Miroku's daughter was very daring and adventurous.
 Nozomi jumped off the tree.
"Nozomi! Don't you ever do that again! I can't believe that you jumped down four feet," Sango scolded.
She heard chuckling behind her. "I think she got it from you, honey," said Miroku.
Sango turned around and faced her husband. "She got your lecherous ways too. Have you heard the teachers? She's groping boys and she's only two!" said Sango. Miroku chuckled again.
"I don't see what's so funny," Sango said. Then, her face went sullen.
"You don't have to look so sad. I'll talk to Nozomi about it," Miroku reassured.
"It's not that. I'm scared for Kagome. Who knows what will happen down there? I just hope she survives," Sango said.
Miroku took his wife in his arms. He kissed the top of her head and said, "She'll be fine. She's powerful and strong. Nothing and no one can hurt her." Sango knew that, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something bad would happen to her best friend.
"Mommy, I'm hungry," whined Nozomi.
Sango smiled. "Do you want some rice balls and bean soup?" Sango asked. Nozomi shook her head. She followed her mother into the hut.
Miroku stood and watched his two girls walk into the hut. He loved being a father and husband. He wouldn't give it up for the world. He thought about having another child.
After they put their daughter to bed, they went to their bedroom. Miroku let his wife sit on their bed. He knelt before her and asked, "Sango, darling, do you think we can have another child?"
Sango was shocked. She knew someday that he would ask her, but could she raise another child along with their daughter? Nozomi was a handful to take care of; would another child be like that too? There was only one way to find out.

"Sure Miroku, we can have another child. Although, we have to wait until next month," said Sango. Miroku beamed with happiness. He picked his wife up and twirled her around their bedroom. Sango was laughing. `I guess he really wants another child,' she thought.

The next morning, Nozomi walked into the bedroom. She jumped onto the bed and starting jumping up and down. "Time to wake up mommy and daddy!" yelled Nozomi. Sango and Miroku groaned. "Aw, come on. Wakey, wakey," said Nozomi.
"Nozomi, go back to bed," Sango growled.
"Yes ma'am," Nozomi said. She was scared that her mom growled at her.
"Sango, was that really necessary?" Miroku was answered with soft snoring. He sighed and went back to sleep.
