Authors note: Ummm...... well, this is my first story. If you like this story, please r&r so I know SOMEONE is appreciating my work. My story may suck, but I'll say it anyway: PLEASE DO NOT STEAL MY CHARACTERS OR MY PLOT. Names I can deal with, seeing as I borrowed alot of them from other shows and stuff like that.... Umm.... so..... anyway. LET THE STORY BEGIN!! lol.


Riku gasped at the man she saw before her. He was stunningly handsome, but he looked like he wanted her head, which was likely. "Wh...Who are you?" The man looked at her with an anguished look. "Keh. Shouldn't you know? Didn't you target me and kill my best friend and future mate?" The man jumped on her and clenched her throat. Riku gasped and screamed as loud as she could. "What...the hell...are you...talking about? I don't...I don't even know you!" she said between gasps of breath. The man sniffed the air, searching for the scent of a lie. He found none. "I'm....sorry. You look so much like her." He jumped off of her and helped her up. Riku back-handed him across the face. "What the hell was that for?!?" the guy said. "What the hell do you think its for? Who the hell are you?"
The man sighed, defeated, as he spoke: "Inuyasha." Riku nodded, still a little angry at him. "I'm Riku." she said. Her eyes then widened when she realized what Inuyasha had said before. "You said I look like the girl who killed your..." Riku started. "Kagome. Her name was Kagome. Do you know who did it?" She nodded. "I might. When did it happen?" she asked. "This morning." Inuyasha said.
"Inuyasha?" someone called. "Where are you?" Inuyasha scowled. "I'm over here. If you guys weren't so damn slow, you'd be here already!" he yelled back. Suddenly, a flying two-tailed cat demon came flying down from the sky. An apparent monk, demon slayer, and a young fox kit were riding upon its back. The demon slayer took one look at her, and jumped off the cat demon and jumped at her, swinging her giant boomarang wildly at her. Riku just barely dodged it, and it almost knocked her head off. "Sango, stop!" Inuyasha yelled.
The demon slayer, Sango, jumped back next to Inuyasha and looked at him like he was crazy. "Inuyasha, what the hell is the matter with you? She killed Kagome!!" Sango screamed at Inuyasha with tears in her eyes. "I didn't kill anyone! I might know who did though, if you would all stop trying to murder me!" Riku screamed. Just then, the sun set down the horizon, and the moonlight of the crescent moon shown on Riku, and then she transformed into her human form. "Shit.... why the hell did you come tonight anyway? I'll be damned if you don't come the night of my human night...." Riku cursed as she glared at them with her bright blue eyes, her black hair blowing across her face.


"So, your looking for the girl who killed your Kagome?" Riku asked them, after setting up a campsite."Yes, we look to seek revenge for her." the monk, Miroku, said. "Again, she looked alot like you. Which is why I attacked you. She died trying to protect our village." Sango said, with tears in her eyes. Mikroku went to wrap his arm around her, only to have her quickly pull away and wipe away her tears. Riku raised an eyebrow at them, but said nothing.
"Enough talk about how she died, I want answers! Who killed her?!" Inuyasha shouted at Riku. Riku rolled her eyes at his 'tough guy' act, which, needless to say, only made Inuyasha angry. He stood up, picked her up by the back of her pink and white sleep kimono, and brought her face to his. "If you got anything to say, say it now, 'cause I don't give a fuck who you are, I'll kill you! Now, who killed Kagome?!"
Riku lifted her hand to his chest, and mumbled a few incoherant words. Suddenly, her hand began glowing a bright blue. Inuyasha looked down at his chest, and was flung back about ten feet, right into the tree Riku was sitting in when they first showed up. Riku hadn't expected Inuyasha to have held on to her when he was flung back, but, sure enough, he did. He landed flat on his back, with her right on top of him. Riku jumped up, only moments after she realized how she had landed,blushing fiercely. "Oops..." she said, embarrassed. Inuyasha jumped up, too. Of course, he was furious, and embarrassed as well. "What the hell was that?!" he screamed at Riku. "It was my spiritual powers....you have a habit of grabbing me, and I don't very much like it! I wasn't expecting you to keep ahold of me...." she said softly, still blushing. Inuyasha looked confused. "You can't have spiritual powers! Your a demon!" he said, stating the obvious.
Everyone looked at Riku confused, making her feel very uncomfortable. "Well, first of all, I'm a HALF-demon. Second of all, I can only do it on the nights of the waning crescent moon. My human night. This way, I'm never unprotected! My mother was a priestess, and she fell in love with my father, who was a full demon, though he was half dog and half wolf. So that makes me actually a dog-wolf hanyou.... shit, I'm rambling.... QUIT STARING AT ME!" Shippo and Inuyasha covered their demonic ears at her yells. "Sango! Make them stop yelling! They're hurting my ears!" Shippo whined.
"Hey runt, I'm not yelling, so shut up!" Inuyasha shouted back at him. Shippo stuck his toungue out at Inuyasha, which made Riku laugh, and Inuyasha got
pissed. "And the chase is on." Sango said quietly. Riku slide over to Sango and whispered in her ear, making Sango smile. Then, without being noticed by Inuyasha, they snuck out of the campsite, and to the hot spring.
"Wow. I really needed this!" Sango said, before she ducked her head under the hotspring water. Riku laughed and layed back on the rocks in the spring. "I knew it was here. That's why I was camping here anyway. I needed a good soak, but then you guys came, and I forgot until Inuyasha and Shippo started running around." she said pleasantly, while smiling. Her smile faded, after thinking about the boys for a while. "Do you think they would spy on us?" she asked, suddenly feeling a little creeped out. "Well, I don't think Inuyasha would, but Miroku might...." Sango replied. That wasn't what Riku wanted to hear. For some reason, she would rather have Inuyasha spy on them. "By the way.... what are those beads around Inuyasha's neck?" Riku asked, confused as to why he wore them. "I saw them, but I didn't want to ask him right out, so...I just left it go." she continued.
Sango looked uncomfortable with the subject, like she had touched a nerve, but Sango didn't want to upset her by yelling, so that left her uncomfortable. "They're rosary beads. They're useless now, but.... Inuyasha can't get them off. I don't think he would want them off anyway, but.... it's curious." Sango explained reluctantly, after a minute or two. "Oh... so, did Kagome control them?" she asked, again after a while after Sango had replied. She knew it was a touchy subject. "....Yes." she said. Riku wanted to continue to question it, but, she knew better. She didn't want to push the subject.

"Shhh! They'll hear us!" Miroku yelled at Inuyasha in the bushes. "I'm not the one talking now! So, shut the hell up Miroku! I can't hear them!" Inuyasha said back. They had been spying on them shortly after they had left, neither had seen them undress though. After they had left, Inuyasha knocked Shippo out and laid him to bed. Inuyasha never went and spyed on the girls with Miroku, usually he kept him away from them. He just couldnt help himself this time. He was just compelled to see what Riku was like with other girls, and maybe, just maybe, to see what she looked like underneath her clothes.
He turned bright red when Riku stood up to get dressed, and looked at Miroku, to see what he was doing. He didn't feel comfortable with the way that Miroku was looking at Riku, so he covered Miroku's eyes, which, of course, Miroku didn't like, so then they started wresting in the bushes. Riku immediatly noticed the bushes rustling so she ducked back under the water. Sango and Riku started screaming and then grabbed their towels. "Inuyasha!!" Riku yelled, surpised to see the rustling stop and a very guilty looking Inuyasha peek his head out of the bushes. "Inuyasha you pervert! SIT!" she screamed, not sure where the sit part came from, but even more surprising to her, was when his rosary beads began to glow, and he was yanked to the ground by them.
