Chapter 4: Getting Used to it and Traveling

`I can't believe this! All he does is make me clean his room, clothes and order the other servants around. I can't even go outside without me bowing to him or following Rin outside to play with! This is making me sick I guess I'm going to have to get used to it but with this going on now I might not!' Kagome pouted as she sat on her bed. She looked around and it had nothing to do. When she heard someone turning the door knob she laid down on the bed quickly and faked like she was sleep.

Sesshoumaru looked in the room and saw Kagome asleep. He walked over to her and laughed at the pitiful sight. `Kagome has no idea that I could hear peoples breathing when their asleep. I know she's not sleeping. Stupid wench!'

`Why isn't the person leaving can't they see that I'm sleeping?!!' Kagome's heart raced faster.

Sesshoumaru walked to her and smirked. He then said, “Kagome I know you're not sleeping at this time so advise you to get up.” When Kagome slightly shivered small grin was on his face. He lifted his foot and kicked her slightly like he did a few nights ago.

Kagome immediately got up and said, “What do you want from me now? I already did your chores! What more do you want from me?”

Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes and growled, “Don't speak to me in the tone wench! I've came to tell you that you can go visit your family but you're not going now.” He was about to leave out of the room until Kagome cried out for him.

“Sesshoumaru please I'm sorry. Just let me see them for a day. I'll never defy you again if you do that for me.” Kagome had tears flowing past her cheeks. Sesshoumaru didn't look back but he smelled tears.

“I will let you be there for one day but if I don't like the place we're leaving.” he coldly said. `Why do I feel sympathy for her?'

He walked out the room and said, “Make sure you're ready by tonight. After dinner we are leaving.”

Kagome wiped her tears and nodded lightly. `Even though I feel like killing him I can't because I'm too weak and I don't think I could leave afterwards.' Kagome got up off the bed and went to take a nice bath.

Inuyasha…………

“I can't stand this! Why did she go far as to go to my brother? I understand she's mad at me but why?” Inuyasha was walking behind Miroku and Sango with Shippo on his shoulder.

“Maybe Sesshoumaru is being nice to her.” Shippo tried to cheer Inuyasha up. He was only two inches taller than he used to be but he was still concerted a small kid who didn't know squat. Inuyasha was like an older brother to him and he felt as sorry as Inuyasha did.

“That's impossible. Sesshoumaru was never nice to me when we were children and he wouldn't be nice now. He may act like he is of a high stature but that's it. He's just a selfish bastard to me!” Inuyasha looked up to see Miroku get slapped by Sango because he tried to touch her behind.

“Well Kagome can take of herself. She is a miko right?” Shippo jumped down in front of Inuyasha with a serious face. Inuyasha frowned.

“Yes but that doesn't mean she's stronger than Sesshoumaru because he's been as strong as me all throughout I was alive. Even with the Tetsusiaga he always finds a way to defeat me. He was the one that our father trained, but before I was born he died, so I didn't get a chance to train with him. When I was born me and Sesshoumaru didn't get along. My mom moved the castle leaving Sesshoumaru alone. I guess he grew to hate me more because our father died and that's all he had left of a parent.

“When he saw me a few years later he looked as though he wanted to kill me. I didn't understand why but my mother died when I was four years old in human years. Right after we left she died. Sesshoumaru and I been fighting ever since.” Inuyasha never told anyone this not even Kagome.

Shippo smiled and said, “Inuyasha Kagome is fine. Whatever happened between you and your brother is a sign. I don't know what the sign is but it's there. Maybe you two can end your fighting one day. I know if I had a brother I'll make sure he's alright either he older or younger, it wouldn't matter because he has the same blood like me even if we had different mothers.” He jumped back on Inuyasha's shoulder. He bit him playfully so Inuyasha can smile but all he managed to do was make Inuyasha smirk. `That's a start. I hope Kagome is fine though. She's like a mother to me.'

“We'll we're going to have to keep traveling to find out how Kagome is doing.” Miroku came up out of nowhere. Sango was smiling back at Inuyasha holding Kilala.

“Yeah it's our entire fault not only yours Inuyasha.” Sango waited for them to catch up with her.

That Night…………

“Kagome I thought you were ready to go?” Sesshoumaru said getting impatient.

Kagome came downstairs smiling in a red and black kimono that had black flowers on the bottom and back. “I'm so sorry. I just so nervous about my mom meeting you. My mom is pretty wise so please don't disagree with her out loud because she might do something that will make you regret what you said. Trust me, Inuyasha tried the same thing and couldn't eat or sit down for a week.” Kagome had her hair combed and letting it out for a change. It went past her waist and it was pretty groomed for a human.

Sesshoumaru quickly stepped outside before she could get to the door. By the time she was outside he already got Ah-Un ready and waited for Kagome to get on. She smiled and he growled a bit but turned away.

“Sesshoumaru thank you for letting me see my family.” she smiled up at him.

“You should thank me after we see them because I could change my mind.” Sesshoumaru was already losing interest. `I can't believe my inner self got me into this mess.' He helped Kagome up fighting with his thoughts to change his mind. Rin and Jaken saw them off and when they were out of sight of the castle Sesshoumaru growled in annoyance.

It was real early in the morning by the time they arrived. Kagome forced herself to stay awake so she could transfer Sesshoumaru through the well too. When the blue light surrounded them Sesshoumaru could already smell the difference between her world and his.

When he saw their house he couldn't believe she lived in a small thing like it. She pushed a little thing by the door and he heard a chime like bell. Kagome had smiles all through the time they were there.

A little boy in his pajamas answered the door wiping his eyes from sleep answering, “Hello Kagome is that you?”

Sesshoumaru couldn't believe his eyes she had a brother.

Kagome picked him up and whispered, “Yes it's me. Let us in. I want to surprise mother.”

“What is Inuyasha here?” Sota looked out in the dark. When he saw Sesshoumaru step into the out light he gasped and swallowed hard.

Kagome set him down and said, “This is Sesshoumaru. He's Inuyasha's brother. He's the Lord of the Western Lands in his time.”

Sota nodded and just stared and said, “Come in then.”

Sesshoumaru listened to Kagome's instructions carefully and when she talked in a low voice.

“Sesshoumaru my mother is very grouchy if something or someone wakes her up so we are going to have to go to sleep and wait for the smell of breakfast in the morning. If we go down while she's cooking it's a punishment. In our family we wait for her to finish cooking before going downstairs. There is also no threatening or trying to kill someone. My family doesn't know I'm a miko yet so they're just normal people. Also, we use electricity and automatic items so don't slice or melt anything away. You may sleep in Sota's room, my room, or the living room. Make your decision now because I'm very sleepy.”

Kagome finished giving him the rules. Sesshoumaru thought for a second and said, “I'll sleep in your room. I do not want your younger sibling stepping all over me or waking me up. Another thing since we're in your time it doesn't mean you're in control of me when we get back.”

Kagome nodded and sent Sota to bed afterwards leading Sesshoumaru to her room. The whole house smelt the same but in her room it was her unique scent. Kagome turned on the light and looked in her closet for her an extra sleeping bag.

She laid it out next to her bed and got most of her soft pillows to make Sesshoumaru comfortable. She then got some soft sheets that was almost like silk and handed it to him.

She went into her bathroom and dressed into her pajamas that looked kind of like Sota but different figures and colors on it. When she came out of the bathroom Sesshoumaru already had his armor and hakama off. She looked at his bare chest and couldn't bring her gaze off his skin and perfect muscles.

Sesshoumaru noticed Kagome staring at him and noticed that her pajamas showed her belly and a little cleavage. They both stared at each other until they heard apart of rustling clothing.

`Why was I looking at her like that? Now she's going to get the wrong idea.' Sesshoumaru looked into her eyes and said, “Good night Kagome.”

Kagome smiled nervously and said, “Good night Lord Sesshoumaru.”

She turned off the light and got into her white sheet bed and fell asleep quickly.

Morning…………

Sesshoumaru woke up with something on him. He was irritated and thought it was a piece of clothing. When he opened his eyes Kagome was on top of him. She had her head on his tail and the rest of the tail between her thighs. She was inside the covers with one hand on his chest and the other tangled in his hair. Not only was his tail between her legs but was wrapped around his left leg, and between minutes she would moan `Fluffy.'

He could not move and he wanted to get up quickly. Kagome looked kind of peaceful in her sleep. `Hold up what am I thinking?' Sesshoumaru tried countless times to get up but no prevail.

After an hour Kagome finally woke up and heard a growl beneath her. She quickly opened her eyes to see Sesshoumaru up close and personal. In his eyes she could see irritation and shamefulness. When she looked in the position they were in she quickly untangled herself.

“Sorry I sleep wild when I have company. I always end up in their covers or basically on top of them.” She said in a slight smile.

Kagome got up and started running around in her room going from the closet to her bathroom. She went into the bathroom and took a shower and came out dressed and refreshed. Kagome looked at the clock it said 7:22. `Mom should be cooking.'

Sesshoumaru went into her bathroom and had to figure out all the contraptions by himself because he was too stubborn to ask Kagome. In five minutes he was out and walked into Kagome's room with only a towel on.

Kagome blushed furiously. “Sesshoumaru…um…I think you should look in my closet. I always have extra clothing set because usually Inuyasha would take a bath with Sota. It was too big for him though.”

Kagome's face got a deeper red when he walked past her. `Control yourself Kagome.'

Sesshoumaru smirked and saw white silk pants with a blue hakama that had a golden moon on the back of it. Kagome turned around while he changed. When he was done he grabbed her by the shoulder to face him. The hakama showed a little of his chest and the whole thing was perfect on him. Kagome turned away and said, “Breakfast should be ready in about five minutes. In the meantime can I dry your hair for you?” Kagome pulled out a device that looked like a mini canon.
