CHAPTER 8

"Hakudoshi I want you to go to the demon slayer village and distract Inuyasha from getting to Lady Hyomi. I will go myself to her and make sure she is not able to break my spell on Kagome." Hakudoshi stood up and walked to the exit. "Fine, but why do you still want Kagome with us?" Naraku smirked. "I have plans for that girl. Now go." Hakudoshi walked out the room. Naraku smiled evily. 'Soon Kagome will wake up and kill Inuyasha and his friends. Then I can make her into one of my henchmen.' Naraku stood up and disappeared into a portal.

INUYASHA

Inuyasha landed near a hut at the demon slayer village. Sango and Miroku landed with Kilala after. "Sango where can I find some sheets to lay Kagome down?" Sango pointed to a hut. "there're supplies there so we can rest Kagome and ourselves." Inuyasha nodded and carried Kagome inside. He layed her down and covered her with one of the sheets that were folded on the side. "Soon Kagome, the spell will be broken and we can finally live together forever." Inuyasha kissed Kagome on the forehead and walked out the hut.

He walked to Sango who was getting water from the creek. "Sango, can you take care of Kagome while I go to the mountain to get Lady Hyomi?" Sango nodded and stood up. "Sure, but are you going alone?" Inuyasha nodded. "Well be careful, There are alot of demons around that area so you might get slowed down a bit." Inuyasha growled a bit. "No little demon can slow me down. I'll be back in no time." Inuyasha jumped out of the village.

While he ran in the forest he ran in to Hakudoshi."What do you want, you little brat?" Hakudoshi just stood there with a smirk on his face. "Can't I pay a visit to you people without getting chewed out?'' Inuyasha growled and unsheethed tetsusaiga. "No, I guess you can't." Inuyasha ran to Hakudoshi and tried to cut him apart, but Hakudoshi was to fast and jumped out of the way. "Inuyasha don't you ever get stronger?" Hakudoshi held his blade up and swinged it a Inuyasha. Inuyasha dodged it by a hair and jumped back.

NARAKU

Naraku appeared near the hut and went in. 'this must be her.' Naraku sneaked up behind the woman and grabbed her with one of his tentacles. "AHHH...LET ME GO YOU DEMON!!'' Naraku tightened his grip on the woman and she fell uncouncious. 'This woman is pretty weak for a spellcaster.' Naraku smirked and disappeared into his portal again.

INUYASHA

A swarm of saimiosho appeared and Hakudoshi floated up to them. "Seems that I have to go now. Goodbye for now Inuyasha." Hakudoshi floated away with the insects behind him and they disappeared in the distance.

"Why did he just come to do that? Oh well, I don't have time for this." Inuyasha ran into the forest towards the mountain to find Lady Hyomi.

KAGOME'S DREAM

"Kagome you're so pathetic. why would you think that Inuyasha would ever love you?" Kikyo smirked and held Kagome's head up. "Just look at yourself. you're nothing to him, he loves me and you can't change that." Kagome was tied to a tree by the soul collectors and Kikyo was going to take Inuyasha to hell with her.

"I know he doesn't feel the same way he felt before and you don't want to admit it!" Kagome yelled at Kikyo and she ignored her. Kikyo ran her hands through Inuyasha's hair. "I know you have no regrets my love. Now lets leap together into the dephts of hell." Kikyo kissed Inuyasha and a portal opened beneath them sucking them in. "Inuyasha...........Don't go!!!!" Inuyasha couldn't see to hear Kagome and soon he and Kikyo were completely gone.

END OF KAGOME'S DREAM

Kagome's eyes opened wide with anger and she sat up. "Ugghhh.........I'm gonna kill that woman!" Kagome stood up and grabbed a sword sitting on the side. "I could use this." She walked out the hut and ran into Sango. "Kagome, what are you doing you can't leave now." Sango grabbed Kagome by her shoulders to stop her from leaving. "Get out of my way!" Kagome pushed Sango to the floor and kept on walking.

"Now where is she going?" Sango ran inside the hut and grabbed her weapon. "Miroku, Kilala, lets go!" Miroku ran to Sango and Kilala transformed to carry them both. They got on top of Kilala and they flew after Kagome. "Where is she going?" Miroku said."Who knows. She's carrying her weapon though." They looked for Kagome in the forest, but couldn't find her anywhere. "She didin't leave that long ago where could she be?''

INUYASHA

Inuyasha arrived to the base of the mountain and saw a hut there. "Seems quiet for a demon infested area. I wonder if she's even here." Inuyasha walked to the hut and walked in to see nobody there. "What? I came all the way over here for nothing?" Inuyasha walked outside to look around for her. His eyes widened when he recognized the smell in the air. "Naraku, he must've figured out what we were trying to do and kidnpped her." Soul collectors appeared and Kikyo came out from the forest. "Inuyasha, what are you doing around here? And where are your friends?" She moved closer to him and he stepped back. "I was trying to find Lady Hyomi, but it seems Naraku beat me to her. The others are at the Demon slayer village so i'd better get going." Inuyasha pushed through her and ran into the forest back to the village.

"Soon Inuyasha, you will have to go to hell with me as you promised." Kikyo turned around and started to walk when suddenly a sharp abject pierced through her back and through her stomach. "Ahhhhh.......what?!" She turned around and saw Kagome's angry eyes starring straight into hers. "You will not take Inuyasha away from me ever. If you ever thought that I was weak, you've got it all wrong you pathetic woman." Kikyo looked at Kagome in pain. "Is.....that the..........reason you.....did this?" Kagome held her palm open to Kikyo's body on the floor. "Also because I never really liked you." A pink light came from Kagome's palm and shot straight at Kikyo. When the light was gone all that was left were her ashes. Kagome grabbed them and walked to a waterfall that was nearby. "I'll be nice enough to give you a gravesite to put your ashes." She threw the ashes in the water and walked away.

INUYASHA

Inuyasha jumped onto a large tree to hurry and get to the village, but as he did he saw Sango and Miroku riding on Kilala. "Hey what the hell are you guys doing over here? Where's Kagome?" They landed and came off kilala."Ummm....she got away on us again." Inuyasha's eyes widened in disbelief. "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
