Sorry I didn’t update sooner, I had writer’s block and school decided to an ass and take up my sweet time of posting to you wonderful reviewers. I bet your asking where is sesshy? He’ll be put back in eventually. I just have to work out the kinks with inuyasha’ s situation. Please have some patience peoples. And thanks for the spelling tip, I reread the story and found that my spelling is kind of off. Hopefully it will get better as I continue to write.

chapter 4 - you know what happened last time, don’t feel like repeating it

“I...AM...GOING...TO ...KILL...HIM!!!!!” the hanyou screams

“Inuyasha, you are in no condition to fight anyone right now, not only your wounds have not completely healed, you have a baby on the way” says Kaede

The hanyou slumped to the ground. “How could I forget that ....I’m .....pregnant.....by....that.....

BASTARD!!!!!!”. Inuyasha realized that he had to give up this entire thing, the fighting, the adventures, Naraku, he forgot that son-of-a-bitch is still running around somewhere.

“Wait, who’s pregnant?” asks Kagome

“I guess I should tell you all about my other discoveries while observing inuyasha.” She told the story of the bite and the discovery of the half-breed’s baby.

“I don’t understand, how can inuyasha be pregnant, he’s a guy!!” says a shocked Kagome

“Many half-breeds have the power to carry young, no one knows the explanation, its just that they can do it” explains songo (man, was that retarded or what? That’s writers block for ya, stealing the juicy goodness of the story while it was in your head)

“So, there’s no special gene, spell or anything like that ?” asks kagome

“Nope” replies songo

“Wow, what a way to go” says kagome

“What we should concentrate on now in inuyasha’s condition and how we are going to handle it”

says miroku

“How far along is he?” asks kagome

“Two weeks” answers Kaede

“Does this go as a normal nine months or does it take longer”

“Usually nine, but the longest gestation period is 12 months”

“Since he’s going to stay here is there anything we should be warned about, lady” asks the monk

“Just be careful of him, his moods will change drastically, he’ll be nice one moment and then snappish and defensive the next. Have as much patience with him as possible. Don’t let him do anything that could endanger himself or the baby, he’ll probably try to do something stupid if he doesn’t get his way. Watch him closely if he decides to wander around, but I should assume his parenting skills should not be that bad, but keep an eye on him anyway just in case”

“Thank you, lady, we will do out best to abide by these rules”

“Oh, one more thing, he might transform, if he does, then there is danger around, so use this as a sign and bring him to me if there are further problems or anything about him that concerns you”

“Again, thank you lady”

“Hey, where is inuyasha?” asks the miko

“He is still laying on the wall, only......he’s sleep” says Kaede

Miroku and Songo picked up the hanyou and set him gently on the futon. “Poor inuyasha, all that screaming got him exhausted” says songo

“He will need to have as much rest as possible and so will all of you. It is late, you all should get some sleep, shippo has already started.” says Kaede

Everyone prepared their own beds surrounding inuyasha. Kiara kept her ears open as she and the others laid down to sleep, to watch for danger since the hanyou was unavailable and unable to do it.

“By the way lady, did inuyasha tell you who the father was?” asks miroku

“Unfortunately, no, I did ask him but things got off track when he told me to inspect the bite on his neck. Perhaps tomorrow he could tell us.”

Miroku settled on the futon and looked at the sleeping hanyou, he sighs “we have a lot of work to do” and he closes his eyes

short chappy, I know but I will update the rest of the weekend and during the week. Probably can’t on Monday though, I have a band concert that night ~________~ ;
