Hello again folks, here with another chapter and crap stuck on the brain. On by the way I have good news, I’m doing a sequel to Midnight Screams. A few reviewers asked if I could continue, I didn’t really intend to but a new plot came into my head and I decided to say fuck it and write it. I’m writing it as of now but I’m not done with the first chapter but its coming. So if I haven’t updated for a while that shows I’m either writing a new story or chapter or got lazy and don’t feel like typing. Thanks for the spelling tip too, I reread the other chapters and saw that I do have a few spelling issues. Hopefully I will fix that as I continue to write. I’ll update eventually though, I don’t like unfinished stories hanging around. Speaking of unfinished stories, does anyone know the author of the story Seduction of Swords. If you do or if the author is reading this here is a message...... UPDATE WOMAN !!!! I COMMAND YOU TO UPDATE !!! US PEOPLES ARE HANGING ON A THREAD HERE!!! I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!! If you never heard of this story, check it out, SERIOUSLY. I’ve read it over 3 times and it still gives me thrills. Better yet, when I get on the internet, I’m gonna read it again and again and AGAIN !!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! ^______________^

chapter 5

It has been 6 months since the incident. Inuyasha somewhat returned to his normal self mentally, but that was because of the constant mood swings. He usually says sorry to everyone if he gets mean to them. They forgive him knowing that it is all part of the process and it will blow over later on. Physically is a whole new story. His belly grew to the point where everyone could see it. His kimono was no longer big enough to hide it and the poor hanyou believes he is fat.

His main cravings were meat and vegetables. Also ice cream, pie, cake, and any other desserts that kagome brings from her time. He likes his ramen and other junk food from time to time but not as much as he used to. She even brings fruit for snacking in between. There are times when he wants a dessert too often and won’t eat dinner until later. When he tries to take it they tell him to eat a fruit. He’ll get upset but understands why. Mostly so the baby could stay healthy and he won’t have access fat after he gives birth. He also had to give up training for the moment due to the fact that his stomach gets in the way and he gets more tired as time passes on.

Kagome came in and out of the well for school and her studies. What was good but interesting to her was that she passed. Now she is on summer break and has more time to help her friend out.(3 weeks plus 3 days till summer vacation. WHEEEEEEE!!!!!! and finals ~________~) She told her family his current situation and how it happened. They sent their regards to him and asked could they see the baby sometime.

But the only question that everyone is pondering is who is the baby’s father. He still did not spill who it was after 6 long, tiresome, agonizing, months. But they kept their patience, believing that if they ask him in this state, he’ll most likely cry and leave somewhere. Kagome also wondered who will take care of shippo. The jewel will eventually be completed and he will need a place to stay. She didn’t want to give him to some random family where she might never see him again. It could be a possibility that once the jewel is finished, that she would have to go back home and never come back.

Even if she could come back he still needed to live with someone but they have to be demons. So that way he won’t lose them to old age like humans. She thinks that she should ask inuyasha first, since he’s becoming a mother and all. Maybe he could train him since he will also train his child. If the hanyou says no then her second choice is koga. She gets up and goes to where the hanyou is sitting. She sees his eyes closed but she knows that he is not sleeping.

“Inuyasha, can I talk to you”

“Sure”

“Where do you plan to live after the baby is born?”

“Maybe here or a village that welcomes demons, humans and such”

“Well, can you take shippo with you ?”

“Why?”

“I’m concerned for his well-being, I don’t want him growing up alone and can get killed while he’s young. Since you are going to be a mother, I thought maybe you could care for him and train him to defend himself”

“You probably won’t like the way I train him, he may get bruised and bloodied and I don’t want to get sat because you believe I am too hard on him”

“I don’t care really, if that happens then you are showing him that he could end up like that in a real battle or even worse. So he needs it so he won’t get killed and I’m spoiling him anyways, he needs to get tough”

“Your right about spoiling him, but who would you give him to if I don’t take him”

“Koga”

“Well, I suppose I could take him, I could use extra help with the baby if you guys aren’t around”

“Thanks inuyasha, you don’t know how much that means to me”

“Don’t start crying on me you baby”

“I’m not crying you big meanie!!” They looked at each other for a moment and started laughing

“I miss those arguments”

“Me too, but I can’t argue with you right now, I don’t want to piss you off and I don’t want to say the “s” word by accident”

“Damn right!”

“Well I’m going to break the news to shippo, where is he anyway ?”

“Over there near the lake” he pointed at the lake with the kit in view

“Thanks” she ran over to the fox kit and asked him to see her

“Shippo I need to tell you something”

“What is it, kagome, is inuyasha crabby again”

“I’m not crabby !!!!” he shouted from a distance. They ignored him and went back to the conversation

“You know that the jewel is almost completed right?”

“Yeah”

“Well I think that there is a possibility that I might go home and not come back”

“Why!!! what am I gonna do? Who will I live with?”

“Calm down, that is only a theory, I might come back but just in case I don’t, I found someone who will care for you if that occurs”

“Who?”

“Inuyasha”
< p>“Did you ask him before you came to me?”

“Yes, he said he will take you in”

“How do you know he won’t abuse me?”

“Shippo!!”

“What? He has been mean to me. Yelling at me and bopping me in the head”

“Shippo he has a baby on the way, he won’t do those things to his own child, why should he do it to you? And besides I asked him to train you while you are in his care”

“why”

“I want you to defend yourself and so you won’t get killed”

“Will I be the only one in training?”

“For a while, but he will train the baby when it comes of age”

“I guess, he is the only other father I knew”

“I knew you would understand, but I have a few favors for you”

“What’s that”

“I want you to abide by his rules, don’t do anything to make him angry, especially while he is still pregnant. If he has to leave us go with him. If he needs help, assist him. If he gets sick or gets sad, comfort him. Try to protect him physically and emotionally. And train hard so I could see some muscles on these little arms”

“Yes, ma’am”

“Good boy” She ruffled his hair and the fox kit ran off to see his new father

When he got to where the hanyou was sitting he saw his eyes closed thinking he was sleep. He studied his new guardian seeing how his features had changed. His lips were more pink and plump and his cheeks held a little rose blush to them. His hands, face and hair were more soft. Technically, he looked a little feminine, but it didn’t bother him. He looked down and come face to face with inuyasha’s tummy. To him it looked huge, like a overgrown melon. But he put his hands on it carefully and felt nothing. So he put his ear on it to hear. He heard the baby’s heartbeat and boy, was it fast. He also heard some movements for about 20 seconds and he heard a huge boom, which made him pull back in surprise.

“It just kicked you”

The kit looked at him confused.

“It is probably trying to find a new position to sit or lie in and sometimes it will punch or kick to get comfortable”

The kit smiled “I wonder did I do that when I was inside my mom”

“I wouldn’t be surprised, you couldn’t stay in one position for nine months, you had to move one way or another”

“Inuyasha, since I’m going with you everywhere, can I be its older brother, pleeeessseeee? He tried giving the hanyou a baby face

He smiled “I don’t see why not”

“Yay!!! I’m gonna be its brother, I gonna be its brother” he chanted as he jumped around. The kit got tired and sat on the hanyou’s lap. “I can’t wait till you come out, we are going to do everything together” he said while rubbing on the hanyou’s belly. The kit then grew tired and laid on him. Before he went to sleep he said something that made the hanyou shed a tear
