Got more votes. So far people have picked 6 puppies for the dog brothers. Which is a pretty good number. Maybe I should give them a little more turmoil. As for Experiment, I have writer’s block on that for now. I’ve read the last review I had and perhaps I should change it up a bit. I am being a little too humorous in the fic instead of being serious. Personally, I didn’t think it become that humorous. But if you people’s like it the way it is then tell me and I’ll leave it and continue as it is. But if you think I should change it up a few, then say so. In other words, Experiment is on hold for a minute until I decide what to do with it.

I was really hyper when I wrote the last chapter, so when I made Sesshomaru say Inu was sexy, I just did it for a kick. Out of nowhere really, and I knew he wouldn’t say that EVER in his life. But that’s what happens when the author is sugar high.^__________^;

chap. 13

It was almost sun up as the brothers were returning from the woods, still in complete silence. (That’s a first) For some reason though, the silence was beginning to pester them. (Inuyasha ok, but Sesshomaru? That’s a NEW one) Sesshomaru just really wanted to talk, bu the knew his brother was in no mood to EVER talk to him without causing an argument.

“This is so idiotic, I wish we could speak without him giving me a migraine every time”

The sun had fully risen when the brothers reached the castle. As the sun shown fully over their heads, Inuyasha’s pitch black hair turned back into silver, his stubby nails into claws, his lavender eyes into gold and his human ears became his triangular ones on top of his head (I think those ears are sooooooo cute. When I first saw them, I wanted to touch those so bad. I still do, but then again who doesn’t).

Sesshomaru then caught a whiff of hanyou instead of human. “So this is when you turn human, at every new moon” he said as he turned to face the half-breed

“Yeah,...... what of it”

Sesshomaru turned back to the castle at that comment just to refrain from another fight. They went inside and saw nobody in the halls. They continued walking until they were halfway to Inuyasha’s room.

“I don’t need you to lead me to my own room, I know where the hell it is”

“I can do what I want, and I’m leading you to make sure you don’t leave again”

“What makes you think that?” he asks sarcastically

“I don’t think, I know. And I know you are crazy enough to run right back out” They stopped at Inu’s room, Sesshomaru opened the door or gestured him to go in.

“Whatever” he said as he passed his brother. The hanyou went in, took Shippo out of the holder and put him in his bed and he too laid down after he put the rest of their things on the floor. Sesshomaru chose to shut the door in silence since he too was tired. He stood for a moment and then left the door. He then went to his study to once again sleep on the couch because his so called “wife” kicked him out again. But this time it was without mean words or obscenities, basically there was nothing to say this time, there were only thoughts that spoke for them.

“At least this time we acted civilized for a change........... I just hope it can last.”

As for Inuyasha, he lays on the bed awake staring out the window of the balcony, questioning his brother’s motives. There was so much that is a mystery to him, but then again, Sesshomaru is a huge mystery all on his own.

“What is his purpose to this? It seems he wants more from me than my child, but I don’t know what. There is nothing that I can give him that hasn’t been stolen. But mainly, why was I the only one that was present that day? Why wasn’t there some random broad he could’ve raped instead of me. I may hate him, but I thought he had enough class not to do that to anyone, let alone me. He could’ve just laid down with a random whore and let it be but there more to this than I believe”

Inuyasha left it at that and went to sleep since he was getting a headache from all this thinking.

++++later that day+++++

A healer came knocking at Inuyasha’s door. When he gave a “come in”, she peered inside. He saw that the healer was just another human. Inuyasha was a little surprised but at the same time was not. Since Sesshomaru believes humans are meant as slaves.

“How are you feeling my lord?”

“Okay, I guess”

“I need you to come to my place for a minute”

“What for?”

“Just to give you a check up on you and the pup”

“I suppose”

“Good, come with me, and also bring your foster son as well” He picked up the kit and left the room. He followed her into her room where he saw a bunch a herbs and plants. The room was overwhelmed with the smell of fresh evergreen.

“Lay down” she commanded. He did as he was told.

“When was the last time you had a check up?”

“Over a week ago, maybe too”

“Well, that’s not bad, but you should have weekly check ups. It’ll help up keep track of the baby’s progress and It can help me track any sicknesses that could be harmful”.

She started feeling along his stomach after pulling his shirt up, gently squeezing it on all places. She put her ear to his stomach.

“Heartbeat seems normal and the baby is in perfect position and health from what I can tell. You’re going to have to pull you shirt up further.”

“Why?”

“I need to see your chest to check and see if your lactating”

“What does that mean?”

“If your body is producing milk for the baby. This milk is to nourish the child until its old enough to consume solids”

He was a little hesitant, but since she was the healer, he pulled it up. The healer looked and saw his chest became a little plump and his nipples were perked.

“I’m going to need a sample to test your milk for any bacteria or viruses. This shouldn’t hurt but it may feel weird.” She took a small cup, grabbed hold of his nipple and gently squeezed it. Milk shot a bit and came in big droplets.

“Your right, it does feel weird. Is this how the baby will feed?”

“Yes, but the thing is I’m being gentle. Your child might not be so lenient.

‘What do you mean?”

“Some babies put a little force when feeding, so it could sting when it feeds. But if its not receiving its milk, it could bite you as a warning saying its not getting anything”

“Thanks for telling me ahead of time”

“No prob, now let’s continue.... the next few minutes went as the healer checked other places such as his ears, hair, mouth, and such.

“That’s it for you, now I need your foster son. What’s his name?”

“Shippo”

“Shippo can you come here?” The kit looked at his guardian with a questioning look.

“She’s not going to hurt you, she’s just going to take a look at you.” Inu said. She gave him a warm smile and the kit felt more relaxed.

“Just hop up here” He did as he was told “How old are you”

“50" (took a guess)

“Or in human years 5 right?”

“Hai”

“Well, let’s see how you are doing?” More time passed as the healer did almost the same things.

“It seems that you three are in perfect health. So I’ll see you in a week my lord and you in a month”

“Yes ma’am” they said in unison.

“Oh and by the way my lord, I tested your milk, its in perfect condition. If you need me, I’m available”

“Thanks”

“Enjoy your evening”

“Hey Inuyasha, can I go play with Rin, or are we going to leave again?” asks the kit

“Shhhhh, don’t say anything about us running, and yes you can go play with her”

“Yay!” the fox child left his guardian to go play. Inuyasha didn’t feel like going back to his room, so he chose to roam the house and see what’s what. After about 2 hours of walking, he got tired and decided to sit in the living room. As he rested, he smelt something familiar like humans. He sat up and started smelling the area. There was only one person who smelt of, what’s that called ......laundry detergent.

“Kagome?”

t his chappy is a bit longer. And I noticed how long I have been missing, man was I slacking off.

There is good news and bad news. The good news is the paragraph at the top is like days maybe weeks old so, I thought about Experiment and I choose to continue. I don’t care if its humorous, it will just go that route. The bad news is I have band camp next week and the week after. So I won’t have a lot of time to update. Plus, my sister’s back so it makes things even more depressing. But I will update both stories when I have time.
