InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Runaway Puppy ❯ Chapter 14

BAND CAMP IS DOOOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE! ^_____________________^ (finally, >_<) although I still have this coming Tuesday and the Tuesday after that for practice. Then I have my first performance, which is a so called pre-season band festival. Then afterwards is the first football game and so forth for all my Fridays during school for the next few months. But unfortunately, I have been benched for one of my games (for those who don’t know what that means, its when you have to sit on the sideline on the benches that is designated for the band you play for) then reason was that me and my fellow senior classmates decided instead of coming back from lunch at 12:30 like we were suppose to, we came back at 2:45. 15 min before camp ended for the day. We did it on purpose, we thought about never going back, but we wanted to see the teachers face. And boy was he PISSED!!!!

We ended up going to Taco Bell for lunch and Dairy Queen for ice cream. But the surprising thing was that they didn’t have any cookie dough or cheesecake for the desserts that we wanted. We were talking and laughing loudly. We were told by one of the employees that we needed to tone it down. We took it as our cue to leave, but as we were taking our super long lunch break, one girl that was with us was text numerous times by one junior back at the school that we were benched (and I mean all of us) for three games. Course we didn’t believe him because he never means most of the crap he says which was confirmed when we got back. Instead of benching us for three, he only said one. After the ice cream, we went to a boys house for the rest of the time being out. We watched a few videos, the ending of a soap, and the cartoon Recess (lol). His house was nice looking and it was very comfortable due to the fact that we were getting sleepy.

We had many plans of what to do when we got back if the others were still on the field practicing. But they were in the band room working on the music. We chose to be quiet and walk in like nothing happened. We sat down and after the band stopped playing, the teacher had his moment and went back to work.. Unfortunately, the junior that was sending the messages betrayed us by spilling on us all because we couldn’t take him with us due to him not being a senior. So he is no longer trustworthy to us seniors. That was the fun day out of the 2 weeks of camp. The rest was nothing more than heat, ignorance and plenty of irritation.

So I’m going to get to the chapter now ^_^. You all know I don’t own Inuyasha, if I did, I would have made major money and I wouldn’t need a job so badly

chapter 14

“ What is she doing here?.............. She must have been searching out for me.”

Inuyasha got up from the couch and followed the scent towards the front door of the castle. He looked to see the guards still at their posts. They turned to look at him after all three smelled the group from beyond a hill.

“Friends of yours my lord?” one asked

“Yes”

“Do you grant them permission inside the castle” asked the other

“Sure, I guess” They stood for another moment and Inuyasha decided to go sit back down. “Well, I’m going back to the living room over there. When they get here, let them in and tell them where I am”

“Yes my lord” they said in unison

Kiara landed herself and her cargo upon a hill that went downwards reflecting upon the Western Lands castle. The bright white castle reflected itself from the sunshine above. The was a huge lake from behind that was shimmering all its glory. The flowers and trees were blowing within the breeze. It was looking like a castle from a fairy tale.

“Its so beautiful, ......its like a dream home” says Kagome

“Yeah, this kind of place always existed in stories” says Songo

“This is the kind of home you can get when you’re the ruler of the Western Lands” says Miroku

“Well, lets see if Inuyasha is here” says Kagome

“Kiara” Songo commands. The fire cat flies off towards the castle.

“If you are here, please be alright Inuyasha”

Sesshomaru still resided in his office looking through scrolls and paperwork of his lands. As a breeze passed though his window, he caught a whiff of his brother’s companions.

“Damn,... figures they would start looking for him”

The youkai lord got up from his chair and took a small journey to the front doors to meet the humans and find his mate.

Kiara landed in front of the doors. The group dismounted her and she turned back into her small cat form. They walked towards the castle doors and were instantly stopped by a halt.

“You came in search of Lord Inuyasha?” one guard asked

“Y-y-yes we have” stammers Kagome

“You may enter, he says he is residing in the living room to your right”

“Thank you”. They entered and looked all around. It looked like a normal castle, well furnished and decorated. Had paintings, pottery and such. They went into the living room and saw a figure standing at the window staring outside.

“I-Inuyasha?” says Kagome. He turned around with a small smile

“Hey Kagome, how’s it goin” he said sweetly. Her eyes filled with tears a she ran past the obstacles of furniture into the hanyou’s arms, being careful of the baby.

“Oh Inuyasha, I was so scared that I lost you and the baby. I thought that since I told Sesshomaru about you he killed and you and Shippo. I’m just.. I’m so sorry. You must hate me” she sobbed. He grabbed her chin making her look him in the eyes.

“Why would I hate you? You did what you could for me and I’m grateful for that. If you ever say I might hate you again, I’ll choke you”

she chuckled “It’s a deal”. The hanyou continued to hold the sobbing miko and gently rocking her back and forth. “I feel like such a fool believing that you might hate me”

“You should, baka”. She glared at him and then smiled

“How’s the baby?”

“Its fine, moving around a lot, but fine”

“Where’s Shippo?”

“He’s playing with Rin somewhere”

“Good, he has a companion to play with until the baby is born”

“Where is Sesshomaru?” Songo asks

“He’s around, probably in his study again doing who knows what”

“Inuyasha, do you feel safe here considering what has happened?” asks Miroku

“Yes and no really, ever since I got here, we’ve been arguing. He kept trying to see me without having to fight, but I didn’t believe his intentions, which I still don’t. I’ve tried running when the new moon came and of course he came after me. But then he said he wanted to have a family with me”

“Are you serious?” says Songo

“Yes, but of course I don’t believe him. But the problem is he doesn’t lie”

“You do have a point, but how is it that we can trust him” says Kagome

“Well considering the fact that he did not harm Inuyasha or Shippo. Inuyasha for one is his mate and is carrying his child, mainly his heir to these lands.

“Which is exactly why I don’t trust him for our well being. He may support us with money, food, and shelter. But I don’t think he has enough balls to support us emotionally.”

“Then there is Shippo, he is a fox youkai. But then again, he knows Inuyasha would throw a fit if he didn’t let his mate take him in. So technically, this is a battle Sesshomaru himself knows he cannot win unless he bends to your wishes to keep his family.”

“But the question is, what more does he want out of me?”

“I’d hate to say this, but we might have to find out”

“Which is something I don’t want to do”

“Hey Inuyasha, have you seen my........... Kagome!” Shippo cries. He jumps into her arms and hugs her. “When did you get here? I missed you”

“A little while ago, and I missed you too. So how has Inuyasha been treating you?”

“Really well, for once” Inuyasha glared at him. The others laughed and Inuyasha and Shippo joined them. Sesshomaru was watching from a distance, his were narrowed because of what his brother said. “So the idiot believes I don’t have the balls to be emotionally stable, huh, I’ll let him keep thing that for now. But he is seriously in for it”

All done, if this chappy is short, then gomen. This is 4 pages long so heh. I’m already typing out the next chapter for Experiment. Hopefully, it will be done before this weekend. If not, it will reach you all eventually. Enjoy the chapter and have a good day ^___^

I would give you more but sadly I still DON’T HAVE A FREAKIN JOB!!!!!! >_________<* . (kids my age want to be bastards and now thanks to them everybody is moving their age limit to 18. Including McDonalds. So now my mom thinks I’m better off in my county library. But there are toooo many jerks here ~__~.) But I give you best wishes to you and your family *bows*
