InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Runaway Puppy ❯ Chapter 15

It has been a month since I last updated. I have several reasons for one, it was my b-day last Saturday. Second, fall football games, so marching band. Third....I FINALLY GOT A JOB!!!! I now work at my local Marc’s, so that’s got me tied up a bit. And finally my sis started college and she uses the computer for her studies. So I now have very limited timing. I just got an email on my story and it made me wanna cry. So here I am. ^_^ Sorry CrimsonInHumanBlood if my last chapter confused you. I’ll be happy to explain. If you go back a couple chapters maybe 4th or 5th, it was when after Sesshy saw the witch and was informed of his child. He went to where Inu and the others were located which was Kaede’s village. Of course as you read, Inu ran away before Sesshy got there. He confronted Kagome and the others of his whereabouts. After Kagome’s neck healed from Sesshy’s attack, her and the others decided to go in search for Inu. Their first choice was the Western Lands. When they got there, that’s where the last chapter came in. That was when they found out Inu resided there and all that other good stuff. That should some it up for you, if it doesn’t let me know. If anyone else has any confusion about the story, tell me and I will do my best to help you.

As for the rest of you, lets get on with the story as I said, no beta. So all mishaps are mine.

(Clears throat)

Chapter 15

As they day went on, they group talked about anything and everything that went on ever since their separation. Sesshomaru long since disappeared since he felt there was no more information needed for what makes his mate distant. Plus he had more work to do.

“Wow, look how late it is, the sun’s almost down” says Kagome

“Yeah, but....where are we gonna sleep, I highly doubt Sesshomaru will let us reside here and I don’t want to sleep outside.” says Songo

“We have to ask of course, but who is convincing to him?” asks Miroku. They all looked at Inuyasha.

“Whoa! There is no way in hell I’m asking him”............few halls and 2 turns later. “Dammit, I can’t believe those guys, forced me to ask him.” Inuyasha showed up at Sesshomaru’s study and saw the door was closed. He gave a slight knock.

“Come in” he said cooly. Inuyasha stepped inside and closed the door. He stepped up to Sesshomaru’s desk and stood there, looking in his brother’s eyes, trying to gather up the courage to ask

“Is there something you wanted, Inuyasha?”

“Yes, ummm,....... could my friends stay for the night?”

“I don’t see why not.” Inuyasha looked absolutely dumbfounded, never in his life had he ever receive a yes from his brother in what he wants. “If you have trouble finding rooms for them, ask Jaken, and he will assist you”

“Uhhh, sure, thanks”. The hanyou turned around and walked out the room still confused at what just happened. Sesshomaru on the other hand just smiled and continued his work. Inuyasha walked back to the living room where everyone was.

“What did he say?” asked Shippo

“He said................yes”

“Really?” says Kagome

“I know, I don’t get it either, I don’t see how he said yes so suddenly”

“Is something wrong with him?” asks Kagome

“Could be, but he seemed perfectly fine to me”

‘Yawns’ well, I’m tired, he said yes, lets go to bed” said Miroku

“Inuyasha do you know where the guestrooms are?”

“Not by heart, but I think I can show you the way” Surprisingly, he lead them to the right rooms.

“Oh these rooms are beautiful, and these beds are so soft. I wish I could live in a place like this ” says Kagome. Inuyasha smiled and went to check on Miroku and Songo.

“You okay Songo?”

“Yes, this room is very lovely. Sesshomaru may be cruel, but he has very good taste”

“Miroku, you........” Miroku was snoring away on his bed

“Goodnight you pervert” Inu said as he shut the door

“I heard that” from the other side. Inu just snickered and then he saw Shippo at his feet

“Inuyasha, can I sleep with Kagome”

“There was no point in asking me, because you know you can”

“Yay!”

“Goodnight everyone!”

“Night!” they said in unison. Inuyasha himself felt tired and decided to got to bed as well. He went into his room. He decided a change of clothes for once and looked into his closet. Inside were simple yukatas. He picked one out for his size, shed his red kimono and put it on. He took his old clothes, folded them and put them on the floor beside his bed. He sat on the bed and before he laid down, he looked at his hair. He decided to braid it and put a hair tie he found and put it on the end. He blew the candle out and laid down. Bu before he went to sleep, he rubbed his large stomach.

“I really wish I could figure out how this will turn out between me and your .....father. Should I give him a chance kiddo?” He looked at his tummy and got more comfortable as sleep claimed him. Sesshomaru stood outside his door and as usual he heard everything.

“I don’t know Inuyasha, should you?”

Sorry if its short, this is a quickie I pulled out my ass, so its kinda crappy. Like I said I’m being pulled on a few leashes. Luckily, I had early release from school, so it gave me time to finish this chapter. Unfortunately, if I didn’t have to go to work in the next few minutes, it would have probably been a bit longer. But hopefully this will hold you guys off for a second until I get some real timing. Enjoy the chapter! ^_^
