Chapter 11

Past Revealed

Inuyasha watched as Kagome ran out of the classroom. Was she still not feeling well? He knew he shouldn't have let her go back to school.

When the class was over Inuyasha went to Kagome's apartment. He'd probably get in trouble for skipping school but he wanted to make sure Kagome was ok. He knocked on her door.

No answer. He turned the knob to see if the door was unlocked. The door opened. He walked in. The room was a mess. Everything was on the floor, books were knocked down, and papers were on the floor. `Oh no Kagome.'

He ran into Kagome's room. She was on her bed with her face buried in her pillow. He could smell her tears. "Kagome."

Kagome looked up. She forgot to lock the door. Tears stained her cheeks. "What happened Kagome are you all right?" Inuyasha asked. He sat on her bed.

"He found me." She said and she new tears ran down her cheeks.

Inuyasha hugged her. "Who found you?" He asked.

"Naraku."

"The new guy?" Inuyasha asked. He could feel Kagome nod. "What do you mean he found you?"

Kagome looked up. "It's too complicated. I don't want to involve you into all this mess. I don't want it to be like last time." She buried her face back into his shirt.

"You can tell me Kagome. What happened?" He asked. What could make her break down like that?

It took Kagome a while to tell him what happened. She cried the whole time. Every once in a while she would pause. Remembering what happened was hard. She told him everything.

When she was done telling him he was ready to kill him. How could someone do something like that to her? To anyone? He didn't know. He did know that he would always protect her.

"I don't know what to do." Kagome said. "How did he find me?"

"Don't worry Kagome I'll protect you." Inuyasha said.

"No, you have to stay away from him. You don't know what he's capable of." She said. "I don't want you to get involved."

"He won't hurt me Kagome." Kagome cried for another hour until she fell asleep. She was laying on Inuyasha's chest. He laid on the bed. According to Kagome Naraku was probably up to something. What?

Kagome woke up feeling a little better. Something was in her face. She opened her eyes. Silver hair blocked her view of everything. She got up and found that she was laying on Inuyasha. He was sleeping.

Kagome quietly crawled out of bed. She grabbed some clothes to change into and went to the bathroom. She walked out and grabbed her coat. She needed to take a walk and get some fresh air. She locked her door and headed toward a park that was nearby.

She sat on a bench. What could she do? She should have called her mom and Shippo. Why did she tell Inuyasha everything? `I guess it was because I felt safe in his arms'. Kagome thought.

She was got up and was about to head home when a purple mist came out of nowhere. She started coughing and fell to the ground. Only one person could've created the mist.

"Long time no see Kagome." Naraku appeared in front of her. The mist disappeared. "Is this where you've been? In Tokyo?"

Kagome could only look at him. She couldn't move. "I told you if you tried anything I would hurt your family. Have you seen your grandfather?"

Kagome was shocked. "That was you?" Kagome said in a weak voice.

"I warned you. Did you really think I would buy that foreign exchange student program bullshit?" He kneeled down next to her. "It took me a while to find you but I did."

"Tomorrow when you get to school meet me in the library. My threat still stands. I told you you're mine." He kissed her and walked off leaving her on the ground.

Kagome slowly got up. Her body felt numb but it was wearing off. She heard some rustling. She looked over at some bushes. Inuyasha stepped out and he looked mad. "Where the hell did you go?" He asked her.

Kagome now had control of her body. She stood up and walked past Inuyasha ignoring him. He grabbed her wrist. "What happened?" He asked. He knew something was up when he saw her laying on the ground.

"Gomen Inuyasha I can't see you anymore." She ran home.

Inuyasha stood there. He couldn't believe what he just heard. He didn't want to believe what he just heard. Was she being serious? He walked home. He would get answers at school tomorrow.

Kagome woke up the next morning. Her eyes burned. She spent the night crying. She had called her mom and Shippo and told them what happened. They were going to call her back when they thought of something to do.

Kagome walked to the bathroom and took a shower. After she got dressed she walked to school. She was supposed to meet Naraku in the library. Should she go? Maybe she could leave or something?

No good. He could still do something to her family. She went to her locker and got out her books. "Kagome." She turned around to see Inuyasha with Sango and Miroku. She looked smiled sadly at them and walked away.

Inuyasha grabbed her arm. "What happened Kagome?" He asked sadly. He hadn't told Miroku or Sango anything so he tried to leave everything out.

Kagome pulled her arm back. "Nothing."

Inuyasha grabbed her shoulders. "You can't tell me nothing happened." He said.

"I suggest you take your hands off of her."

Everyone looked at where the voice came from. Kagome already knew who it was. She was probably going to get in trouble for this even though she didn't do anything. Inuyasha glared at Naraku.

"Kagome come here." Naraku said. Kagome walked away from her friends and stood at Naraku's side. "I don't appreciate you going near my girlfriend."

"She's not your fucking girlfriend. She's mine." Inuyasha growled.

"Kagome have you not been faithful?" Naraku asked. Kagome looked to the ground and said nothing. "Ah so you haven't."

"Leave Kagome the hell alone." Inuyasha yelled.

"I suggest you never go near Kagome again." Naraku said. "I suggest the same for you Kagome. You know the consequences."

"What consequences?" Inuyasha asked. Kagome had told him about Naraku threatening her family. He wouldn't want them to get hurt.

"That's none of your business. Just know that Kagome is mine." He grabbed Kagome's chin and kissed her. Kagome couldn't do anything. If she pushed him away someone would get hurt.

Inuyasha's blood boiled. How dare someone kiss HIS Kagome? He couldn't do anything though. The look Kagome gave him pleaded him not to do anything. He just stayed where he was and growled. The bell rang.

"Come on Kagome I'll walk you to class." They walked past Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha are you ok?" Miroku asked. Inuyasha hadn't moved for a couple of minutes. Then Inuyasha growled and punched the lockers next to him. At least three lockers were ruined. He stomped off to class.

Sango and Miroku just looked at each other. What could have happened? Neither of them knew. Sango was going to get some answers out of Kagome and Miroku was going to get some answers out of Inuyasha.

The rest of the week went by. Kagome and Inuyasha hadn't talked to Sango or Miroku the whole time. Kagome couldn't say anything. She was always with Naraku. Inuyasha would just ignore them.

Sango saw Kagome after school on Friday. She was with Naraku again. She walked up to her. "Kagome would you like to come over to my house for a sleep over?" She asked.

"I would like that." She said. She looked at Naraku. She had to ask him. "Can I? I haven't been able to spend any time with her lately. Please you know how girls are when they can't see their best friends."

Naraku sighed. He didn't want to let her but she was right. Girls got real bitchy when they couldn't see their friends. He was starting to get irritated by her constant sadness. "As long as you cheer up. I'm getting tired of your moping."

"Arigato." She said. She was going to leave with Sango but Naraku pulled her back for a kiss. Sango looked away. Not something she wanted to see. After a while Kagome pulled on her sleeve. "Let's go."

They silently walked to her house. "Thank god Sango." Kagome said when they got to her house.

"Come on lets go to my room. We can pick up your clothes and stuff later." They walked upstairs to Sango's room. "What happened? I would have asked you a while ago but you are always with him. Why'd you have to ask his permission shouldn't you have asked your mom?"

Kagome started crying and explained what happened. Sango listened to her. By the time Kagome was done telling her what happened she was ready to kill. "You have to see Inuyasha sometime. He's so depressed. He hasn't said one word to me or Miroku."

"I'm not allowed to see him. I told you what happens when I do something wrong?" Kagome said.

Sango thought for a while. "You could use the project as an excuse." She said. "You guys are partners. He has to let you guys get together then."

"I guess. It's going to be impossible to get him to let me work with him." Kagome said. She really wanted to see Inuyasha again. "When you see Inuyasha tell him I'm sorry."

"I will." Sango said. "Now lets forget about all the bad stuff and go shopping." Kagome smiled and nodded.
