When Kagome got home she and Sango decided that it was time to go out. They decided to go clubbing that night, seeing as they hadn't done so in a while. Inuyasha and Miroku knew nothing of this seeing as Sango suggested they sneak out, other wise they wouldn't be able to go at all.

 

Kagome walked in to a club with Sango behind her around eleven at night. It was big and defiantly too many people for Inuyasha to find them easily. “Well, we sticking together tonight?” Kagome asked as they stood in front of the dance floor.

 

“No, we have different taste in dancing, no point in it.” Sango said as she walked off waving to Kagome.

 

Kagome shrugged as she walked into the crowd. It was odd; Inuyasha didn't seem to notice her leave.

 

“Hey babe.” Some one breathed in her ear.

 

That would be why. He knew she was up to something. “Heya Inu…” Kagome said turning around as he put his arms around her.

 

“Don't Inu me.” Inuyasha growled looking down at her disapprovingly as they grinded together. “I thought me and Miroku told you two not to go out till we were sure about Sesshomaru.”

 

“But that's no fun…just sitting at home.” Kagome said as she reached up and tweaked one of his ears under his bandana.

 

“Kagome…” Inuyasha said shaking his head. “Can't you listen to me at all?”

 

“If I listened to everything you said, I'd be you, only female.” Kagome said glaring at him.

 

“I mean when it's important.” Inuyasha said glaring back as he lead them off the dance floor to the top floor, and to a table.

 

“So you're saying I should only listen to you every other time you speak?” Kagome as she sat down with a huff.

 

“You know what I mean.” Inuyasha said as he sat across from her.

 

“Inuyasha you can't just keep me locked up until the storm blows over, I'm not a bird.” Kagome said looking over at him.

 

“I'm only trying to keep you safe.” Inuyasha said returning her gaze.

 

Kagome sighed a little, nodding. “I guess.”

 

Inuyasha waved away the waiter who was politely trying to get their attention. “You know very well that I'm right.”

 

“Blah, blah, blah…I just want to have some fun.” Kagome said looking at the dance floor broadly. “Look even Miroku's dancing with Sango.”

 

Inuyasha looked over just in time to see Sango slap Miroku. “Yeah dancing, that's what he was doing.”

 

“Perv.” Kagome said under her breath.

 

“Yes I am.” Inuyasha said standing up. “Come on I have a surprise for you back at home.”

 

Kagome gave a small smile and a nod as she stood up and followed him to his car.

Kagome sat down on the couch as she kicked off her shoes. “What's the surprise?”

 

Inuyasha plopped down next to her with a smile. “Well I don't think I should give it to you, after all you aren't being very nice to me.” Inuyasha smirked when Kagome's jaw dropped and she looked as him disbelievingly.

 

“That's it, I'm going back out.” Kagome said standing up. “I'll be back later.”

 

Inuyasha reached up and pulled her back down. “Come on you'll get your surprise; you just got to tell me what it is that you want.”

 

“Anything?” Kagome asked looking at him suspiciously.

 

“Within reason.” Inuyasha said with a nod.

 

“We, as in you, me, Sango and Miroku, go down to a beach and spend a few days relaxing.” Kagome said looking Inuyasha in the eye. “Because God knows we need it.”

 

“Ok promise.” Inuyasha said standing up. “Just as soon as we find what Sessh is up to.”

 

“Inuyasha!” Kagome yelled as she ran after him.

 

Inuyasha stopped letting Kagome run into him halfway up the steps when the door bell rang. “Let me get that, and then we can talk about this.” Inuyasha said as he walked downstairs and opened the door.

 

“Hi there little brother.” Sesshomaru said handing him a knocked out Kouga. “I believe this is one of your lackeys.”

 

Inuyasha growled as he propped Kouga up against the wall mumbling, “Idiot can't listen to me either, and I pay him.”

 

“Well, I know I'm not welcome in so I guess I'll make this visit as short and painless as I possibly can.” Sesshomaru said keeping the door open as Inuyasha went to shut it. “To answer your little question I don't give a damn what you do, have bigger problems then you and your little friends. I'm sure you'll meet him sooner or later, his name's Naraku. Also if you ever send an idiot after me, make sure it's a smarter idiot then that one.”

 

“Thanks for the warning now screw off.” Inuyasha said waiting for Sesshomaru to let go of the door.

 

“Yeah, give me a call when Naraku swings by, if I can't defeat him my self, I'm sure you'll at least be a little help.” Sesshomaru said letting go of the door and walking off.

 

“That was strange…” Kagome said from behind him.

 

“I think it's a sign of the apocalypse.” Inuyasha said as he shut the door and looked at Kouga. “Hmm so he wasn't up to something, I was wrong.”

 

“Now that's a sign.” Kagome said walking into the living room as Inuyasha got Kouga awake.
