Lillikyi: Yeah, college can really suck donkey balls sometimes. *Sigh.* Anywaz, school starts again tomorrow. Btw, Sess needs to start having bigger parts in the series; I'm starting to go through withdrawal. *Sweatdrop.*

 

Sess: *Lifts eyebrow and smirks.* Is that so? Maybe we should rectify that…

 

Lillikyi: *Laughs.* I do believe the puppy wuppy is getting excity whited.

 

Sess: *Growl.* Do not patronize me woman. *Takes a running jump and knocks Lilli flat on her back with him on top.* Now who's got the upper hand? *Smirks.*

 

Lillikyi: Sess! Let me up!!! *Growls and struggles to get loose.* Damn you dog boy, let me go!!!

 

Sess: Nuh-uhuh. *Grins.*

 

Lillikyi: Hey, readers! Get him off of me!!! *Pleading look.*

 

Sess: *Looks at the readers, puts a finger to his mouth.* Shhhhhh! *Grins and pulls down that fateful curtain.*

Chapter 7: Useful Spells

 

The line was silent for a second and then, “… enjoy the bitch while you can dog boy. I'm going to enjoy fucking her brains out and then killing her slowly. You'll already be dead by then, so it won't matter. Tell the cunt I said I'll be coming for her.” And with that the line went dead…

 

Sesshomaru's eyes went blazing red as Kagome went limp in his grasp, fainting from all the stress. He clutched her to his heart. `That - moth - will - pay!!!'

 

“Menomaru, I'm going to rip you to shreds with my bare claws! I will see you die if it's the last thing I accomplish on this Earth. You're mine!!!” he howled out into the night…

“Hey Fluffy, snap out of it!!! You okay?” Yasha waved his hand in front of Sesshomaru's face, waking him out of the daze he was in.

 

Sess growled at Inu Yasha, “Shut up Baka, there is no need for your shit today.”

 

“Whoa!!! Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today! You've been hovering over Kags all day like there's no tomorrow and you're touchy as shit, what's up with you?” Yasha looked at Sesshomaru in a somewhat worried way. Was his brother going loco?

 

“Kagome had a threatening phone call from that dick-moth Menomaru. He said a lot of nasty shit to her before I got the phone away. I'm going to fucking slice that bastard to ribbons!” Sess's eyes glowed red for a second, then faded away, leaving a not so ordinary human looking really pissed off.

 

Yasha's eyes went wide, “The fuck he did!!!” Yasha growled, “He's not going to get away with that shit! I'll fucking kill him myself!”

 

Sesshomaru cut him off with one stare, “He's mine. Don't forget that.” Sess pulled up in front of the Higarashi Shrine where Kagome was waiting for them. `How does she always manage to get my heart racing by just seeing her? Her eyes, her hair, the way she walks, it just sends my hormones into overdrive!'

 

“Hi guys!” Kagome smiled cheerfully, completely belaying what had happened last night. She had talked to her grandpa this morning. Thankfully the old man found subduing spells for demons, since Sess had told her Menomaru was a demon, and she had put them down on paper stored in her purse and by her bed. It made her feel a hell of a lot safer! Both of the boys said hi, and Sess gave her a wicked smile, winking at her as she blushed.

 

Sess thought back to how upset and distraught she had looked last night. After she had fainted he carried her to her bedroom and laid her on the bed, pulling the sheets over her and sitting by her until she awoke. She had looked in his eyes and found only acceptance and Kagome was eternally grateful for that. What Menomaru had said really shook her up, but she could get through it if she had someone like Sess in her corner. Kagome had hugged him and he returned her embrace.

 

Finally, he leaned down and gave her a short kiss before saying that she should go to sleep. Nothing could harm her tonight because he would watch over her. He had sat in the tree by her window long after she fell asleep, watching as the moonlight fell over her face. When the sun rose he made a quick trip home to shower, change, and grab Yasha before driving back to pick her up.

They went to school and the next few days followed the same routine with Sesshomaru watching over her at night from the tree, going to get Yasha in the morning, and driving them to school. The second night Kagome tried to get him to come in her room and out of the uncomfortable tree when she woke up around 2 am.

 

“Sess! What are you doing in that tree? Get in here! That must be so cold and uncomfortable!”

 

“I'm fine Kags, don't worry about me, I'm a demon, remember?”

 

“That doesn't mean you have to sit outside for Christ's sake you Baka!!! Get in here!”

 

Sesshomaru continued his stubborn refusal. `If I go inside and watch her as she sleeps I might loose control to my demon blood. Its bad enough being this close to her when we're alone, but if I'm in her room it may decide to take over and claim her. She's not ready for that!' His body reacted violently just from the thought of possessing her. His hard-on filled his jeans and he almost wanted to howl in frustration. Unfortunately, he took out that frustration on Kagome…

 

“Wench, just leave me alone! I'm out here protecting you and you just sit there and nag me! Go back to sleep!” he growled at her. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped, and then clenched shut.

 

“Ohhhhhh! You just be quiet `Mr. Lord of the Castle!' Who died and made you king?!!! I was just trying to help you, you ungrateful little dog boy! Fine! Stay out there!” She slammed her window shut and stormed back to the bed.

 

The window flew open, “Dog boy!!! Who are you calling dog boy?!!!”

 

“You, you Baka! Why do you always have to be so damn dominant?!!! It's like you have to control everything!” She stood up and walked around to shut the window as he moved by the bed.

 

“I'm a MALE DOG YOUKAI!!!!! That's what I'm supposed to do! We're supposed to be dominant to our bit…,” he stopped that word before it came out entirely at her look, “… women, that way we can protect them!!! That's the way the world works!”

 

Kagome glared at him and got an idea. She brushed by her bedside nightstand, picking up something and then pushed Sesshomaru down onto the bed. Since he wasn't expecting her maneuver, he fell quickly. She jumped on him quickly… “What the hell?” `What is she doing, she's… ohhhhhhhh, God that feels so good.' She was holding down his arms and writhing on top of him. Finally she leaned back and gave a very evil smile.

 

He growled at her and started to reach for her to show her who was boss, but he found he couldn't lift his arms. As he looked up to see what was holding them down he felt her slap something on each of his ankles. `What the hell?!!! I can't move them now either!'

 

Kags laughed, “Now who's so dominant! It's a good thing grandpa gave me those subduing spells earlier today, even though they were meant for if Menomaru should attack. She lay down on top of him and removed his earring, watching as his eyes slanted a little, his ears gained that sexy point, and the vivid purple stripes appeared on his cheeks.

 

“Woman…”

 

“Oh, be quiet! I'm not going to do anything to you tonight, just show you that you are vulnerable so you'll stop giving me that he-man bullshit, so just go to sleep.” She snuggled up to him and wrapped her arms around him, noticing the stripes at his wrists. `Hmm… wonder where else he has them? Damn, I'm turning into a hentai!' she thought as she fell asleep.

 

Sesshomaru had just started to drift off when he caught a spike of her scent in the air. He groaned as his body readied for what he knew would not be coming as he heard her finally fall asleep. He wondered what she was thinking of… He was going to be awake for a very long time…

Lillikyi: Yay! Another chapter! Sorry about what I said earlier in the previous post, the story was fine, but my internet was being weird. But hey, I updated.

 

Sess: Yes you did my little wolf. *Grins.*

 

Lillikyi: Hmmmm… *Walks up to him.* Maybe I should see if Kags has anymore of those spells…

 

Sess: *Eyes widen.* Don't you dare! *Glares and walks toward her.*

 

Lilli: *Lets him get about four foot away.* *Smirks.* Sit boy!

 

*CRASH*

 

Lilli: *Sits on top of him and scratches his back, running her hands down his thighs.* Now who's the dominant one? *Laughs.*

 

Sess: *Grroooooooooowwwwwwwwwwllllll.*
