InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ senior year.... ❯ Typical! ( Chapter 4 )

Kagome tried 2 ignore the little voice, but failed. Of course she didn't want to come back. Why on earth would she want to come back?! {Go ahead! If you so smart u stupid voice then give me one good reason why I would want to come back!}She thought. "Inuyasha is so typical!" she muttered. Sesshy walked out slowly from the trees and surprised kagome by heading in her direction. But she preoccupied herself by laughing at the little voice. {HAH! C? Who's right now? You didn't even answer my question!} kagome frowned and looked up at sesshy who was getting pretty close. "…Or did you?" she whispered to herself. And then she wondered what to do. She could easily hop over the well and go home…but that would be kind of stupid. "Hello." Sesshy said, with a small smile. The first sincere smile she had ever seen on his face. She opened her mouth to tell him `bye' and maybe add in a few curse words, but shut it again. She figured that he was being nice, and being a nice person herself, she didn't want to yell at him for absolutely no reason. "Uh…hi" she replied back, shifting uncomfortably. There was a long silence, during which sesshy carefully chose his words. "so…I see you are ready to go home."

She nodded, not caring how he could tell she was leaving and not coming. "for good." She added, even though her conscience continued to tell her it was a lie. Sesshy frowned. "what makes you wt to leave and never come back?" he asked, trying hard not to seem too interested. " I had a fight with Inu.you heard me yesterday." She replied. "but you always have fights with Inuyasha." He pointed out." Well this time it was different. Ok?!" kagome was losing patience now. Why did he give a damn about her problems?! Sesshy sensed that he had gone a little too far, but he didn't stop there. This time he didn't question her decision about leaving. If she got mad and lost her cool he wouldn't be able to change her mind about going home. " ok. I understand…did your fight happen to involve kikyo?" she glared at him. {how did he know so much?} "yes. Kikyo was involved somewhat. Whats it to ya?"

" Nothing. I'm just curious. And it shouldn't be anything to u either. Why do you care about inuyasha so when he would rather be in hell with that priestess?" he said. He realized, that she still had feelings for him. But he wanted his brother out of the picture. Kagome stuttered a little. "I - I just - well…" she thought hard. Why did she care so much? "I'm just….mad at him. He made me feel like I was a waste of his time. Like I didn't matter or something and…" she trailed off, under the realization that she was spilling her guts to sesshy. Sesshy…of all people! She wasn't even sure he had feelings. "and what?" he questioned. " and nothing" she snapped back quickly. Sesshy sighed. (For once! Its not kagome who's sighing!!! YAY ^____^ lets have a party to celebrate!haha)

{this is getting no where} he thought. "okay. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, this isn't an interrogation!" he grinned. And kagome couldn't help but smile {woah where did that come from? I've never heard him crack a joke before} she thought.

{woah where did that come from? I don't think I've ever cracked a joke before…} sesshy wondered to himself. (…. gee don't those thoughts sound familiar? Lol) seshy was about to speak again, but kagome got to it first. "Look I'm er..sorry…but I really have to get home." Kagome tried to make it seem urgent, while the little voice (now also known as her conscience) happily sang: `lie, lie, lie, lie, liiiiieeeee!!!!!'

Sesshy appeared slightly disappointed on the outside, and on the inside he was swearing. (Caution: laughing on the inside may be fun, but swearing on the inside could cause an explosion) " why are you in such a hurry? I mean, since your never coming back…don't you think you should take your time here?" {he has a point…} she felt for the shard in her pocket again. She didn't need to stay now. She could always come back. Sesshy reached an arm out, and placed his hand around her waist, cautiously caressing her back. {she's so beautiful} he thought. Although she had gotten caught up in the moment, kagome didn't like what was going on. She backed away quickly and smacked his hand. Her eyes burned with fury. He had just been trying to get close to her. Typical! She got ready to jump over the well, but he grabbed her hand and no matter how hard she tried, couldn't shake off his firm grasp. " What do you want from me?! Just get out of here! Leave me alone!" she screamed. He continued to swear on the inside {fuck! I've really screwed up now!} " I want you to come back and see me." He said, trying to remain calm. "Why so you can have your way with me?!" she yelled, still trying to pry his fingers off her wrist. "No it's not like that!" he said, frustrated, trying to reason with her. But it was. That's exactly how it was. She sighed (NOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT AGAIN!) and stopped struggling to get free. "Then what is it?" she asked. He couldn't answer that question. So he avoided it. "look just come back soon…I apologize for my actions. I merely just enjoy your presence." He had resumed his unemotional expression and voice. It was unnerving how serious he sounded, and looked. His reply wasn't exactly an answer she could argue with. She looked at him funny. "Okay. Fine. But if you try anything…you'll be sorry." She said, with the utmost seriousness, and with that she left. That night kagome thought about inu and sesshy. The last thought that sifed through her mind, before she fell asleep was {guys are just so typical!}

A/N: haha. So true. Okay well I hope your liking the story so far. It's a bit lame at the moment though. And again I apologize for numerous typos…you'll just have to try and read it the best you can, and I'm getting a new keyboard soon ^_^haha I'll update soon. R/R! Bye!
