The next morning, Monday, kagome awoke to the sound of her radio alarm clock. Some weather reporter was speaking in an irritating monotone voice. She groaned and threw her pillow across the room. It hit the radio which fell over the edge of the dresser, switching stations in the process. One of her favorite songs was on.

~ I'm not a perfect person

There's many things I wish I didn't do

But I continue learning

I never meant to do those things to you

And so I have to say before I go

That I just want you to know

I've found a reason for me

To change who I used to be

A reason to start over new

And the reason is you ~

She sighed audibly. (dammit that makes 9) that song made her think of inuyasha.

It's something I must live with everyday

And all the pain I put you through

He had always been self-centered. He just wanted things for himself, the jewel…and kikyo. And he wanted these things for all the wrong reasons. She wished he would change. She wished this song mirrored his feelings.

~ I'm not a perfect person

Inu, Inu, Inu! That was all she could think about, and those thoughts were breaking her apart piece by piece. And then suddenly her thoughts changed.

~ I've found a reason to show

A side of me you didn't know

A reason for all that I do

And the reason is you ~

The last lines of the song…they made her think of…of Sesshy. { ARGH! Why is everything so confusing? Is Sesshy really different then I thought?} "alright," she mumbled to herself, "enough lying around. Time for school." She slid out of bed and flung open her closet, picking out a clean set of her school uniform. At school, Kagome couldn't concentrate. It wasn't anything new to her, she could never concentrate anymore, her life had become too complicated. But this time what clouded her thoughts was Sesshy, not Inu. In the middle of taking her math test, she dropped her pencil on he floor. She sat still, making no indications that she was going to pick it up. She was deep into her thoughts now. {screw math! I need to see Sesshy again} she got up and ran out of the classroom. The other kids gave each other confused looks. The teacher sighed and walked out of the classroom after Kagome.

"What's wrong now Kagome?" he asked. Kagome was by now at the end of the hall, ready to leave the school. She stopped, but didn't answer him. "are you feeling sick Kagome? Is that whats wrong? Come I will take you to the clinic." Kagome remained silent, and made another movement toward the door. "Kagome. That's enough you are obviously not sick there is no excuse for your actions. Get back in that classroom now and finish your test!" with that Kagome ran through the door and outside the school. Her teacher ran after her, dragged her by the arm back into the classroom, and shoved her in her desk. "Now pick up your pencil, complete your test and see me after school for detention."

"WHAT?!" she screamed, finally having returned to her senses. {I was trying to see Sesshy sooner not later!!! Why did I do something so stupid???} she thought. Her teacher frowned. "Don't argue, unless of course you want detention tomorrow too." He said. Kagome glared at him but said nothing more. She retrieved her pencil from the floor and continued mindlessly answering questions on her test.

Detention was hell. Kagome tapped her pencil on her desk relentlessly. She had wanted to see Sesshy tonight, but it was clear now that she would have no time. Her mother made her go to school 2 or 3 days a week. So she had to come back tomorrow, and then spend the night doing homework for the days she would miss. They had finally gotten a story straight. Kagome supposedly had cancer and had to go to the hospital a few times a week for check ups and treatments. She wouldn't be able to see Sesshy till Wednesday. {why has this become so important to me now? Why do I care so much about seeing Sesshy?} her thoughts were giving her a headache again. When she got home, she wrote her essay for English homework, and then went straight to sleep at 6:30pm.

The next day was pretty much normal, but kagome couldn't wait for it to be over. She stayed up till 2am finishing all the extra homework, and then packed her backpack to be ready in the morning.

A/N: okay haha leaving u wondering what will happen next! Mwahahahahha. I'm still quite annoyed that no one is reviewing. But I'm not gonna lecture ya'll about it. Just make the right decision (a.k.a. REVIEW!) ^ ^ haha ok I'm not gonna update for a while, because there are ppl who have read the 2nd and 3rd chapters that haven't read up till the 6th. So I'm gonna be patient and let them catch up. Bye-bye!
