A/N: well I'm back! Tina: And I'm not dead! ^___^ Me: …for now Tina: err…pie? Me: okay. Tina: *gives her pie* It's pumpkin pie! Me: ooo! Your life expectancy has just tripled! *Stuffs piece after piece of pie in mouth* Tina: pie…that's the fourth time it's saved my life…I LOVE YOU PIE! *Crickets chirp* Me: …well this is awkward…on with the story!

Kagome woke up the next morning for some unknown reason. She opened one ye and looked at her clock…which was still on the floor by her dresser…(Jeez Kagome! Do you abuse all your possessions like this?! Its okay clock, we still love you, even if Kagome doesn't. Tina: …do you err…always talk to inanimate objects like this? Me: no…maybe…a lil…ALRIGH|T YES! But at least I don't talk to food! Tina: What's wrong with that? Pie is awesome! Me: yea, but its my pie! Tina: nuh uh! Me: yah huh! *Dust cloud fight*) it was 7:47 (Tina: do you just pick random numbers off the top of your head? Me: no, not off the top of my head, from my mind! *Whispers to numbers* they're on to us! Run my pretties run! *Numbers run off her head and into her book bag* Tina: O.o;) She lifted her head and rubbed her eyes, slowly opening both. Souta was tugging at her blankets. "Morning sleepy!" he chirped. She blinked. "Souta? When I said remind me in the morning I meant…in the afternoon." She replied, her voice slurred. Souta just laughed. Kagome grinned and shook her head, as she sat up. She slid off the edge of the bed, steadying herself as she put her feet on the floor. "Alright Souta, but I need a shower, so go eat something and make me some toast or something if you wanna leave early." She said, rubbing her eyes again and stumbled over to the bathroom. Souta nodded and darted out of the room.

Roughly an hour later, Kagome walked downstairs wearing a baggy black T-shirt and deep green cargo pants that had a rip on the right knee. Her hair was pulled back in a low ponytail. She had been thinking about getting it cut. Souta stared at her as she walked in the kitchen. He didn't say anything, but he had noticed that everyday she seemed to find other clothes that were plainer, he saw no trace of makeup on her face either. Kagome smiled and ruffled his hair. "You ready? Ooo French toast, thanks!" she said as she grabbed the toast and munched on it. Kagome picked up her pack, which still lay by the front door, put her white flip-flops on and walked outside. Souta followed. "So who are we going to see? Sesshy?" Souta asked excitedly. Sesshy had become Souta's new `hero' since he heard of how Inu left for hell with kikyo. Kagome's smile faltered. "Actually, I was going to take you to see Miroku, Sango and Shippo."

"Why not Sesshy?"

"Err…because I don't remember the path to his house…" She lied.

"But you told me yesterday. Oh well, I still remember."

Kagome was losing what little patience she had. "Maybe." She said, deciding it was best not to argue right now. But there was no way she was gong to agree to go see Sesshy. Kagome lifted the jewel shards out of her pocket, and looked at the almost complete sphere. She wondered how things had been going with Miroku and Sang and Shippo.

On the other side of the well, Souta dragged her in the direction of the trail. Kagome had barely any strength for some reason, and couldn't hold back. She began to feel faint, but once souta let go, turned in the direction of the village, and walked. "We'll see them first okay?" she managed to say. Souta sighed and followed. But after a minute or two, Kagome stopped walking, she fell to her knees, and supported her self with her hands on the ground. Souta ran to catch up. "Kagome? What's wrong `Gome??" she turned her head to look at him, but the effort of twisting her body made her fall flat on her back. Tears welled in her eyes, and they closed. She curled up and tightened her arms around her stomach. (Did I mention the curse was a painful death? Tina: …no Me: well I did now! ^_^) Souta didn't know what to do. She had stopped moving, and showed no signs of breathing, he felt for her pulse…but it wasn't there. "But - but she cant! She can't be dead!" His mind raced. {Ow can she get treatment? How can I save her if she's already dead??} And then he got an idea. "..Sesshy…he…he has the Tensaiga, he can save her!" And the more he thought about this, the more sense it made. But he had to get there quick. He lifted Kagome and with difficulty, slung her over his shoulder. He trudged along the trail as quickly as was possible under Kagome's weight, hoping and praying he would make it in time. (See I told you he was a smart kid! Tina: yep. Me: you don't have to be included in every comment you know! Tina: I know, but I don't care ^_^)

When the small hut was in view, Souta began to call Sesshy's name. (His full name) And when he was in reach, he knocked loudly on the door. Sesshy was woken abruptly, he grumbled and rolled to his side. Then he realized. "Kagome's scent…" he muttered, but there was something else mixed in which he couldn't put his finger on. (I've always hated that phrase…sounds kinda…wrong…Tina: so why did you use it? Me: cause you made me…Tina: …DID NOT! Me: DID TOO! *Second dust cloud fight of the day*) And he sensed another presence, plus that was definitely not Kagome's voice calling his name. He jumped up at this, and ran to the door, opening it quickly. He looked down at the short boy, and Kagome who hung on his shoulder, unconscious. (WHAT DO YOU MEAN UNCONSIOUS? SHE'S DEAD! Tina: …you're the writer… Me: oh yea… Tina: Idiot. Me: *looks around* who you talking to? Tina: -.-;) "Who are you? What's happened to Kagome?" His face crinkled with curiosity and worry. He lifted Kagome off the Souta's Shoulder, as he looked like he was ready to fall over. He walked inside motioning for Souta to follow. "I'm Souta, Kagome's younger brother," He said, looking at Sesshy, and how carefully he held Kagome, as he laid her gently on the floor. Sesshy looked up and nodded for him to continue. "I don t really know what happened. We had just come to visit Miroku and Sango and Shippo but she fell and I don't know what is happening but she doesn't seem to be breathing." Souta said hurriedly. Sesshys breath caught in his throat. The smell was death. "Why did you come here then?" He asked. "Because…you have that sword…the…the Tensaiga is it?" relief washed over Sesshy as he remembered the sword. "I hope it's not too late." He quickly found his sword, unsheathed it, and positioned him self readily. He swung and struck. He saw the color slowly returning to Kagome's face. He sheathed his sword, kneeled down, and stroked Kagome's hair back tenderly. Souta smiled. "Is she okay then?" Sesshy nodded. He couldn't speak. Kagome was still unconscious, but moved slightly every few seconds. {Probably about to wake up.} Souta thought. He looked at Sesshy. Really looked at him. He saw a sparkle in his eyes. Souta understood, Sesshy loved her. He stood up. "I'll wait outside okay?" he walked out the door and sat in the shade of a tree.

A/N: I would write more…but I'm tired. Tina: yea me too, and I have a tight schedule. I have to help her procrastinate from homework! ^_^ Me: yep! U heard her! So plz Review! Come on, you know you want to! ^.~
