“C'mon Kagome! I know you can do better than that!" Inuyasha yelled at Kagome. "Shut up and let me do my stuff! S-" "Don't you dare say that s-word! Kagome! Look out behind you!" She turned. "GIVE ME THE SACRED JEWEL!" "I spent years collecting the shards and I won't let you have them!" Kagome screamed back at the demon. "VERY WELL THEN, HAVE IT YOUR WAY!" She grabbed Kagome. "INUYASHA, COME TO MY CASTLE AND BRING THAT JEWEL!" she sped away with a screaming Kagome. Bonk! Something small hit Inuyasha's head. Miroku caught it. "It's a pomegranate seed..." he said. Inuyasha picked up the small white seed. It opened. He screamed and dropped it. "That fucking seed is cursed!" "Are ya Inuyasha?" the tiny seed said. "Yeah, what's your freaking problem?!" The seed had opened and a little girl had crawled out. "Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself. My name is Mia. Do you have any water?" Miroku brought out his jug of water. "Good! Now drop some on me." Drip drop. The girl grew until she was normal size. Inuyasha grabbed her collar. "How are you going to help me find Kagome?" "Oh shut up Mr. Dog Demon! You should able to know her scent!" He mumbled something that sounded like "Keh" and leapt away. "You sure have a cool head around demons don't you Mia?" Sango asked her. Mia nodded. "I am, yes, a human, but I was brought up by demons. My 'father' raised me to be a mage. I am a wind mage." she replied. She saw Miroku's hand nearing. "And I can read minds MIROKU!" He blinked at her. "How did you know my name is Miroku?" he asked. "And I know very well that the woman with the boomerang is Sango I presume?" Sango nodded. "Miroku, you better close your mouth, a fly might get in." She turned and left an open-mouthed Miroku and a laughing Sango behind.

 

'Damn! That fucking pomegranates woman! Kagome! Where the fuck are you?' Inuyasha thought as he leapt through the forest. He let out a stream of curses as he missed a step and fell on to the forest floor. To his surprise, he fell right next to the bone-eaters well. "FUCK!" he slammed his fist on the floor. 'Kagome, I need you with me!' "Agh..." Kagome woke up in chains. "I SEE YOU HAVE AWAKEN..." She raised her eyes and saw the Lady with the pomegranates. "What, ugh do you want?" The demon smiled at her. "I WANT THE JEWEL OF COURSE" Kagome narrowed her eyes. "You're not getting it!" She struggled to get out of the chains. "IT'S HOPELESS! YOU WON'T ESCAPE LITTLE GIRL!" Kagome struggled in her chains. 'Inuyasha! Please don't bring the Sacred Jewel!' she thought as she stopped struggling. "Please...don't..." she whispered 'Damn it! Kagome, where the fuck are you?!' Inuyasha thought as he got up. He looked at the sacred jewel. "Sneaky wench! That fucking woman will pay!" he screamed as he punched a tree. "Inuyasha..." He stopped. 'It's Kagome's voice!' "Inuyasha, please be alright..." 'Oh my god! It's Kagome's...thoughts!" "Don't bring the Sacred Jewel, I'll be fine..." He almost muttered a "Keh!" 'Idiot! If I don't bring it, you'll never be free! Keh!' "Inuyasha?" There was a small pause. "Is that you?" "YOU CAN HEAR ME?!" Inuyasha said

 

It was true! She could hear Inuyasha! 'Inuyasha?...' "What's wrong? Why the fuck shouldn't I bring the Scared Jewel?!" was his reply. 'Language Inuyasha, Language!' "Shaddup! Just tell me why?!" 'If you do bring the Jewel, she'll kill me anyway.' "Keh! I'll kill her before she can even move! Is that all?! Or is there more?" Kagome smiled at his remark. 'I'm CHAINED up remember?!' She could that one of his ears twiched. "So-so what?!" It was her turn to be puzzled. "Hey Kagome! Use your miko powers or er DO SOMETHING!!" 'If I knew how to do that I have have ALREADY, DON'T YOU THINK INUYASHA NO BAKA?!' "Hey, who are you calling BAKA eh?!" Kagome gasped as she began to turn around.It was...INUYASHA!!! He stood there with his hands tucked into the sleves of his haori, a soft breeze blew on his hair, the Tetsusaiga was strapped to his side, he smirked with he saw her. "Hello Kagome..." he said in a small mocking voice.She smiled. "Go get her Inuyasha..." She said soft enough for no one but Inuyasha to hear. Inuyasha smirked for a brief second and then pulled the Tetsusaga out. The rusty sword transformed into a magnificent sharp sword. "AAH! INUYASHA YOU HAVE FINALLY COME..." Inuyasha turned to she a lady with a pouch of pomegrante seeds and five of them were in her hand. 'Those aren't normal pomegrante seeds, they're iron!' he thought as he surveyed her weapons.

 

"What are you planning to do with those iron seeds?!" Inuyasha demanded. The lady grinned, showing all of her teeth. "INUYASHA, I AM TOO A HANYOU, I USED THESE TO PROTECT MYSELF." Inuyasha growled. 'I can't attack a half-demon like myself. I did that with Shiori. But she wasn't a threat...' The woman launched some seeds. "Aagh!" Kagome screamed in agony as the some of them hit her side. Inuyasha's nose twiched. Kagome was bleeding, not a lot, but enough to draw his attention. "You coward!" he roared at the hanyou. 'Damn it! She's hurting Kagome!' he thought. She lanched some at him. They scraped the surface of his cheek. Kagome nearly cried out at the sight of Inuyasha's blood. 'I can't help it, I care for him, even though I'm a big pain in the butt, he cared...' Flashback: "Just shut up and let me protect you!" "Kagome! Stay away!" "What did you do with Kagome?!" "I'm sorry it must have hurt a lot..." "Damn it! Kagome is lying here suffering and I'm just supposed to stay here and do nothing?!" "I need you with me Kagome... Haven't you realized that yet?!" End flashback. 'Inuyasha is bleeding, for me...' she thought. Inuyasha was bleeding from a deep cut in his side. She cried. Inuyasha and the woman turned and saw Kagome wrapped in her own miko power. "WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?!" Inuyasha saw tears falling down Kagome's face. "Kagome..." he said softly. Kagome's eyes were now just brown and her face had no emotion. 'Keh! That's what I call a Sesshomaru face...' Inuyasha thought. "What is she doing?" he questioned himself.

 

'I must protect Inuyasha...' was the only thought in her mind now. Miko power radiated from her. Pattens appeared on her skin. She raised her right arm. "AAGGGH! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO me?..." The hanyou soon became nothing but ashes. "Kagome?" Inuyasha said softly. "Inuyasha..." she said. A small circle appeared over her head. It started cracking, and soon it shattered into ten pieces. They flew out of the room, and away. The power disappeared, and Kagome fell to the ground in a heap. Inuyasha ran to her. "Kagome! Kagome! Wake up!" She slowly opened her eyes. "Thank god, Kagome, you're alive!" She looked at him and said slowly and softly, "Who are you?"
